My Mom and I go to buy some rum for rumballs to sell at self-run charity event and I held it as we got up to the cash so my Mom could get out her wallet. They then asked for ID, which I don't have since I am 4 months away of turning 19, not that it matters because I wasn't attempting to buy it. They then said that since I "handled" it, they were refusing to sell it to us. So we calmly explain that I am in no way trying to drink or buy the alcohol and was trying to use it for a notforprofit charity, but apparently touching a bottle is now unacceptable to them. We asked if I could leave the store and my Mom could come back in and buy it herself but this too was not enough. So I left the store in an attempt to calm the situation but we were apparently not allowed to give them money for their product, so she was told to leave. What made a ludicrous situation even worse was that they were completely bored and robotic the entire time and seemed quite pissed at us for trying to buy their product. Best part is that LCBO is the only one who carries rum so we then had to drive 15 minutes away to a different location. We are absolutely disgusted we have to give this company any of our money. Not happy. Will not be returning, I suggest you don't either.

There is an older white woman who is extremely racist who works there. She seems to be in her 80s. There is a clear sign telling that we have to form a line at a certain location. But when some white client comes and skips the line, she pretends not to see it happening and totally disrespects and ignores the clients who have been waiting in line. During covid times she kept coughing non stop and still came to work. Totally putting the public at risk. She thinks that she is above the law and can disrespect whoever she wants. I have been going to this lcbo location for 14 year. NEVER AGAIN. This pathetic woman should retire. Not sure why she is still working there at 80 and disrespecting people.

Usually I would say great staff but not today. Line up was ridiculous to check out, a long time to wait especially when you need to use a cane. But that is not my complaint, the issue is one employee thinking it is ok for people to jump the line a head of other customers just because they are either a young obese woman or the second an older man. Then when the customers complain about this, she calls them out for getting upset. Her attitude is what does one person's disability matter, it is irrelevant to waiting in line!

Small location but it has the basics, they make due with the limited shelving they have. I've been coming to this location on and off for the last 20 years, it was one of the last and only locations that was open until 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays, but I see it's changed to 10pm now. They always have on site security inside to minimize/deter theft. The parking lot can be a little chaotic at night be careful backing up out of the spots I have seem many people speed into the lot.

Seems unfair to give such a low score here because the service was excellent and obviously the product is the exact same as all other stores. It's just a little small and dated but more importantly it's a little too sketchy for my comfort level. LCBO appears to be waiting for the neighborhood to be gentrified before giving this location a BADLY needed remodel (and hopefully reorganize the parking). I'm sure the community appreciated the beer store and their remodel A LOT more...

People that work here definitely love their job by the joy written all over their face. Very concise with their helpful responses. Knowledgeable to a fault about their limited line of products. Selection is surprising for the size of this joint. It's a tiny LCBO what else do you need? My only qualm with it is the lack of automatic doors for when my arms are piled with white claw and twisted teas on my way home to another zoom party.

This a small but very convenient location... always clean and always in stock of what ever you may need ... exceptional customer service here .. the staff are patient an kind ... willing to go in the back to look for anything u may need that’s not on the floor ... it’s location is perfect too cause there is a beer store within walking distance and other shopping attractions located around ..., opens late on Sunday as well

Not only do I always find what I want here & find the help I need when I cant find my crafts , i witnessed cashiers save a customers life yesterday.they handled it calmly with team work while i was the women panicking next in line.i think their names were Brenda frank and Jamie. I will definately be giving this store my business and I hope u do too. Great customer service who really go beyond expectations

I walked in at 8:40, well before the listed closing time, and was kicked out. The workers told me that they were already closed and didn't provide any reason. They seemingly just wanted to. This has happened to my at this location a few times and that's pretty insane. I'd understand if there was an emergency, but they just close when they feel like it. I haven't seen this in an LCBO before.

I called yesterday and was told by a female that a wine, Grand Sud chardonnay was in stock. When my mom and I arrived today we were told by Brenda that you don't even carry this product. She took the time to call another store that showed inventory unfortunately, this store couldn't locate their product 10 bottles but we really appreciated the effort. An epic fail for the phone employee.

I buy drinks from here all the time. But today I had really bad experience. This old lady working here is too much rude person. I don't know why she is even working here. I wanted to pay by tab and she said to me that haven't you visited any store yet. I can't write in words but I am not going back here again. Just useless and hopeless person. Hello.The worst place LCBO to visit.I am talking about the items.Allways not even half of the items on shelfs.Honest.Like they dont make money.Yesterday i visit the store....Half empty store.Even i ajsk.. why the other stores have the items.For example lots of beers are not there.Wine empty,scotch,brandy..Why?Does anyone responsible for this situation?

The team here is excellent. I dont know how they deal with the clientele here in Scarborough so well. I imagine it isn't always easy but I still always get good service. They are so helpful with finding products etc. Shout out to Brenda. She has been here for years & always puts a smile on peoples faces with her wit & smile. #deservespromotion

Selection here is not the richest and customers here are not the best behaved ... staff is friendly and helpful, so most of the stars are for that! You'll get your usual suspects of beer, wine and liquor but don't expect anything unique ... smaller and older-looking store; prefer the one Kingston and McCowan if you can make it there

Getting around with a cane and was taken great care of with help in selecting and picking up selections and carrying them to the counter for me they also carried them out for me. New to getting around on my own from a back and spinal injury and the staff was great they could have not been more accommodating. Thank you LCBO

LCBO makes a lot of money from stores like this one. Hard-working staff who are constantly stocking shelves. Enormous amount of booze goes out the door. Probably one of the top five stores in the GTA in sales volume. Ask staff about a product and you'll get a reply. Kudos to the staff who keep this place running.

Wine selection is very limited. The cashier rang in three bottles at the same price, as if they were all the same brand, rather than actually looking to see that they were all different. Had I not noticed I would have paid $5.00 more for two of them. No apology, just a query of "really, they aren't the same?"

I really fail to understand why I would be asked to rate the liquor store. I mean really. I dare to see someone give it less than 5 stars. They sell liquor. It's an automatic 5 stars. Great staff very fast and mostly accurate. Shelves are at the most part stocked, very sketchy area but staff seem to have it under control. Should have more police presence in store but kudos to staff considering what I've seen them have to deal with rude customers and shoplifters. My area lcbo.

Get the best range of boozes all at store. You can find all ranges of imported and local ranges of whisky, brandy, rum, beer, vodka and many more. The price is reasonable and the stores are located at most of the urban locations. So what are you waiting for? Go get the best for your weekend.

I was in the LCBO to purchase a specific item 'Winter Jack' and ir was I available. I asked a staff member who turned out to be the Manager if the had any. He went the extra mile and after he checked the back room for stock he checked other stores. Thanks to him I now have 2 bottles.

It's a bit of a sketchy LCBO, but it almost always has what I'm looking for and it is open later then most. Also my personal experience with employees has been great. I had great help when looking for wine as I don't drink it and it was a gift; also the cashiers are all very nice.

Best LCBO, it is an old store but the staff are so helpful and will go to great lengths to make you happy. They are pretty good with their supply chains and usually always have what you need. This location can show the other LCBO locations how to actually run a great business!

Selection is limited at this location and asking for help from the girl with glasses that wears the arm sleve and black shirt on the far right cash is impossible. She stacks shelves and ignores you when you ask her for help. Other stores would be better to attend …

This lcbo is not have decent collection, specially wine and spirit. If you expect like clifcrest plaza or danforth-victoria lcbo collection here then you will be upset, but you can get altime collection. Always busy environment. Staff's are helpfull like other places.

Lol the only place to get alcohol and this is one if the safer ones, there is always security here and they keep a clean store, most of the shelves are always stocked. Although they don't have the largest of selection, what they have will work for most people.

Very clean and neat when you go in. It looks organized. I'm not a drinker so I had to walk around a few times to see what I was looking for haha. Staff is very friendly. I would've asked for help but I like to just look around myself. Wasn't too busy at all.

My experience at this LCBO was pretty good they had drinks there that I didn't even know they made I like the coolers and the coolers they had taste like creamsicles white freezies blue freezies you name it they had it my experience here was amazing

This is one of the few locations in Scarborough that is open till 10pm. The store is small and didn't have the wines I was looking for (Chillean nor Argentinian). Lines were huge but moved quickly. Parking is free and parking lot a bit chaotic.

Very clean and very friendly, other then the security guard who looks angry and ready to kill someone it was a pleasant experience. All the product I wanted was there and great service from the cashiers and workers stocking the shelves

My favourite run through the whole pandemic. My wife stocked up. I bought a good bottle of peaty Scotch that I've wanted to sample for quite a while. Guess I've still got a few days left to sample it before the pandemic ends ya think?

There is a manager named Brenda & she's creating an extremely toxic work environment for the employees. Brenda does not have the skills to lead a workplace. She's rude to employees in front of customers as well. How unprofessional.

Clean store almost always having security in some form. Polite and kind clerks. Simple store layout. The only downside is a slightly wonky parking lot and that's only a downside if its hard to make out the road from snow

Had a bit of surprise when I entered the store to find my regular shelves were moved. Found them after a walk around. Was also informed, they no longer accept airmiles cards. Other than that, service was still great.

Generally good selection, but the person that helped me had their mask under their chin. If they're ignoring policies that could save people's lives, it makes you wonder what other policies they're ignoring.

Place is good with all sort of spirts and wine needed. But not a friendly place of cashier's. Advice to cashier: Treat everyone the same, remember it's a holiday season and treat people with happiness.

This LCBO is on the smaller side so some of the items you need you can't find here. However they still have a large variety of liquor for you to choose from and the staff is always helpful and polite

Great selection of both Ontario Craft beers and imports. Only reason I did not give 5 stars is their refrigeration system in section where I get my beers from isn't making the beers cold.

Staff very friendly, offered to carry by bottles to my car as I had a large load but I was able to manage on my own. Store could use some updating compared to other lcbo locations tho.

It was very busy before Canada Day. Some shelves item are sold out. There are staff I can see for help. I go here for special occasions and there is always someone to help.

Small and comfy with a lot of domestic and international selections. Boasts free wifi although I have no idea how long a customer can remain in the store. No sitting area.

OK for a quick stop good selection, the staff is polite to customers but I have seen them on occasion arguing with each other. (not a very relaxing place to shop).

Why would you dislike a liquor store? Lol. Police often monitor customers as well as security which is good. Lots of substance abusers live in the area though.

Good location with friendly staff and and easy layout. Lacks the beer and wine selection of the larger stores but generally good selection of everything.

Older store. Parking lot is under constructio. (As of early July 2018). For the size and age of it the selection is ok and the staff seem good.

I liked the labelling system. Every row has clearly mentioned what it consists and the person at the counter is very friendly and helpful.

One of the better LCBOs I have been too. Friendly helpful staffed. I asked for a flavour and they found a couple different options for me.

Only one out of the many cash register workers seem happy and cheerful. The rest are miserable; never a smile, does not want to be there.

There is no rush. you never want to wait in a queue. even on weekends. The staffs are polite. they even help you with the drinks choice.
