  • "Leroy Merlin in Little Falls have once again bought my project to a stand still, costing me unnecessary R1000's extra to fix a problem caused solely due to bad cusromer advice and incompetence concerning product knowledge! Sure Leroy Merlin does have a massive range of everything you'll need for a home improvement or DIY project, just make sure to do your own research on which product will be the most suitable to your application before you get to the store!! A staff member assured me that I could only use a certain adhesive to install a new focal wall using wood finish panels, also bought from them for R4200! This quick gripping adhesive was the most expensive on the shelf, costing me around R1500, now after only 2 weeks since installation, most of the panels are falling off the wall and need to be re-installed with the correct adhesive that will stick to these panels without becoming brittle! This is now costing me extra time and money to rectify, which could have been avoided with adequate staff training! I am not impressed at all !!"

Visited the Little falls branch to purchase 2 light pendants for my office. The sales person assisted and we found that the light I wanted needed the connection cord to be purchased separately. I specifically asked about the one chosen if it would fit with the light fitting and was assured that yes, it would. Naturally when the electrician came to fit we discovered that the cord did not go with/did not fit with the actual light!!! This is a complete waste of time and will now cost me extra as I have to go back to the store for a refund PLUS I still have to pay the electrician for an extra call out when I get another light IMPORTANT UPDATE: Leroy Merlin reached out to me the next day - Maria called and spent a lot of time understanding my issue and finding ways to resolve it. It was a most pleasant experience to have this efficient, friendly and effective level of customer service! The defective items were replaced and delivered to my house. Maria was great at resolving this issue and helping me out with this! Thank you!!!

Well update - after the initial "WOW" factor - I asked that this product be delivered which they said can be done and it would be delivered .... this has still not happened and no update or calls are made to give me feedback - if you provide a service even if it is a 3rd party you should ensure that you stick to your commitments.... even though Leroy did not drop the ball they are the ones appointing the 3rd party courier who clearly do not care hence my feeling Leroy do not care

Definitely worth going to this store over any other hardware store including builders warehouse and Chamberlins! With amazing finishes and extras all at a (AFFORDABLE PRICES) The pricing is what makes Leroy Merlin the place to go as it's much better priced than builders warehouse and Chamberlins and all other hardware stores. It also has a mugg and bean on the move inside! Absolutely brilliant. I would recommend this store The staff are absolutely fantastic, so friendly and so excited to help! They have a good checkout service too!

More than two weeks ago we ordered tiles that should have been delivered by Monday the 21st. When I called, your team said there had been a problem with the delivery and eventually confirmed that they would be delivered on the 24th. The next morning, I got an email saying the order was cancelled. I have not received any refund for the R5k+ that was paid to you three weeks ago and you have failed to deliver any product or service. The Consumer Protection Act also allows me to claim interest on these funds for the time they have been held. Promises that a Manager would call me have not been fulfilled. Your service is appalling. A bad customer service experience turned into a great experience by going the extra mile. Their online shop malfunctioned leading me to lose out on a clearance deal (electric planer) in spite of me paying for it successfully and initially the (phone) support staff were not helpful to resolve the problem. But Boitumelo, corresponding purely via email, took up my cause and, to cut a long story short, Little Falls Leroy Merlin sent me an alternative electric planer (since the one I bought was discontinued) which cost three times as much as I paid at no extra cost. I will be buying from Leroy Merlin again and will encourage others to do so.

Finally, a home decor that can give Builders warehouse a run fir it's money. The store is well stocked with all your home decor needs, some items are cheaper and some item is more expensive then Builders Warehouse, but now as South Africans, we have more choice as to where we want to spend our money. Because of Builders Warehouse being so long in the South African market, and South Africans being so brand conscious, I think is going take a while for Leroy Merlin to become a household name amongst the South African house. 1. Well i am a big Leroy Merlin supporter and fan so i will try and be impartial. 2. Visited the Little Falls branch paint division this time it was a Friday and there were two assistants on duty. 3. They work fast and gave good advice on everything i enquired about. 4. The female assistant did the effort to physically open the 2 x paints i was interested in and showed me the difference between quick dry and normal gloss enamel. 5. The only thing i can say needs some input is the check out, not to friendly. 6. And must mention the Mugg and Bean inside the shop for some great coffee ☕️

It was a terrible experience. We ordered five doors online and they were delivered. However, one of the doors had a hole in it so we asked for it to be replaced. We have been waiting four days now for one door to be collected and another to be delivered. I was at the store yesterday and they promised to call me back. I am still waiting for the call so I went to the store again today. The person assisting me was unfortunately not very helpful and indicated that they can’t connect to the online store and can’t help me. I will never make an online purchase again.

Little falls branch customer service is pathetic. Order no 319037 refers. I purchased this order on Thursday 2 November in store. It was supposed to be delivered yesterday but was not. No communication was received as to why it was not delivered. I phoned numerous times but no joy.I have already arranged for a contractor to install the doors today which is costing me extra money as he cannot do anything without the doors. It is by far the worst customer experience I've ever had. Do not use their delivery facility and make sure that whatever you order is in the shop so that you can take it with you. They string you along for days and at the end of the day you will have to fetch the goods yourself(if they even have it). Leroy Merlin as cost my contractor and I delays and extra money. Rather go somewhere else. They have since delivered my missing goods, I've updated my rating accordingly.

What an excellent store. The staff are educated and really helpful. In comparison to the average hardware store in South Africa they really shoot the lights out. The store is clean and the stock is regularly updated with and amazing variety. There is a Mugg and Bean located at the front of the store if you are tired and would like to grab something to eat. The prices are possibly a tad more expensive than other hardware stores, but the variety is much better.

Wide variety of home decor stuff and priced quite competitive. Is definitely worth a visit when you plan to beautify your home. Weekends are usually busy like any other store however, the thing I liked the most about them is the scan and pay option. Choose the item you wanna buy, go to their website and choose the scan and pay option to pay using your cellphone. How better can it get when you can avoid the lengthy queues and all that stress??

Very unhappy customer. We came to buy frosted glasses (which also clearly indicated on the receipt and quotation, we got home to a CLEAR GLASS, after travelling a long distance, now we have to drive back again to get this matter fixed? Inconvenience is an understatement in this regard. Please have this matter sorted because this is unacceptable that people don’t pay close attention like it. Where else can we escalate this matter please.

Bought tiles from them Monday and after more than half an hour waiting at dispatch I was told there suddenly is no stock. I was then promised delivery by the manager the next day which 2 days later I'm still waiting for and conveniently the manager is now on leave. Been told the store now has stock so heading there to go fetch it myself. Let's see how this plays out as no longer expecting much from them

Hi. I visited this store on Saturday, I spent alot of money at this store, terrible service, not efficient at all. I waited for my order at collection point for almost 2 hours. The tiles were wrapped and a cheap security tape, it wasn't even boxed. Very unprofessional and utterly disgusted. Find pics attached!!! Dont waste ur money and time here, builders warehouse is cheaper and more efficient!

Ordered online. Goods arrived damaged. Didn't accept the delivery. Have been on the phone nearly every day. The call centre is a joke. All promises of someone calling back are lies. Speak to one person one day and guaranteed that person is off the next day. My order is over 2 weeks late and we need it for a preschool Xmas Present Project. I see big disappointments on the horizon.

Zero Stars...Very frustrating to go to a store after confirming that there was stock on the website, to not have any customer service, as employees avoid you at every chance they get. Eventually found someone who confirmed that there is stock on the system but they couldn't find the tiles. Disappointing and not the first time to experience bad service from you guys.

Shocking to try and reach anyone or any feedback in the store on a delayed delivery. Go round in circles for days, do not receive feedback, constantly get disconnected. Their systems and processes are useless. I placed 2 orders and both were short delivered. Every time I phone the call centre they ask me what items are outstanding. Then I hear the same story about no stock and we will order. If they don’t even have a record of what is short delivered how are they going to allocate stock when it arrives???
