I was so excited to try this place after seeing the reviews. An undiscovered bakery in the neighborhood. So so disappointed!! The almond croissant is terribly mediocre. It’s all bready like one of those bodega croissants! No laminate, no flakiness. To me if you’re a French bakery, a croissant is your acid test

after reading the few reviews I was excited for this bakery, however, everything was ok - nothing great. the lattes were subpar as well. it’s possible it was an off day, the space itself is very cute, but I was disappointed with our food and drinks.

I can’t shut up about how incredible this bakery is to everyone I meet. These are simply the best croissants I’ve had in NYC (particularly the almond!) and their baguettes are heavenly. I’m so thrilled to have discovered this second location!

  • Jacob Jackson

Horrible. The cashier and barista looked at each other and rolled their eyes when I ordered a soy latte. I had to ask three times before they laughed at me and said they only had almond and oat milk. They didn't hear me say thank you so the

I was very excited to try the pastries here, but unfortunately my experience left me wanting more. They weren't bad but they weren't as great as I was expecting based on other reviews. The pastries weren't flakey and crisp, and the pain au

I have never left a bad review in my life, but the way this bakery treated my friend was appalling, callous, and frankly racist. She wanted to grab a snack before we went to the movies, so we stopped by la bicyclette on our way. My friend

Cute little bakery by day, wine bar by night next to Cafe Paulette. Love the baristas here and a lot of the pastries are incredible. The Choco Roulé is deeeeelicious. The Jambon sandwich wasn’t my favorite but it wasn’t horrible. Some of

Awesome French cafe in Fort Greene. The coffee and the pastries are excellent, the staff is always kind, and the space is cozy and cute. As someone who enjoys dining-in, I would love it if the pastries were served on small plates, rather

Best coffee shop in Fort Greene and maybe Brooklyn! Excellent coffee, goods baked in house, plenty of cozy seating, and the park right across the street. Come if you want to experience a Parisian sidewalk cafe right here in Brooklyn.

Very solid spot for coffee & bakery items. Probably the best spot in the area for breads & cakes and serves 8.2 coffee. The beans have some really good flavour that comes through in even a longer milky coffee. Highly recommend.

Don’t waste your time in long lines at other Fort Greene cafes - go to Bicyclette - home of the $2 baguette that actually tastes as if made in France. The cappuccinos cost less and the sweets for breakfast are delightful.

  • Kasenya K.H

Delicious coffee and croissants. Get here early for a diverse selection of baked goods. What stands out is the pricing. $2 for a baguette?! Incredible. The bakery near my apartment charges $4 and it’s not comparable.

  • Yvette Goodridge

The pastries were good. We came from crown heights so I wasn’t so impressed that I would ride all the way back. If I were close by I would probably frequent. The almond croissant was my favorite thing I bought

  • Marjorie Munson

Super good, I had heard this place was really good for a while but wow I was taken aback by how fresh everything was, crazy flavorful and perfectly delicious. Coffee is really yummy too! More

I had one of their sandwiches and felt like I was back in Paris. The bread was perfect, the cheeses decadent and savory and the ham was so delicious. So glad I found this bakery!

  • Komal Sharma

Best chocolate almond croissant I’ve had. Incredibly fresh and flavorful. The staff is so friendly and patient. Can’t wait to go back often. Neighborhood gem.

  • Jacqueline Chang

Amazing baked goods. Feels like I'm in France, although I've never been there. Everything is fresh, flaky and buttery goodness.

  • Thomas Brunoli

Incredibly good bread & coffee. Love the ham & cheese baguette - it's as good, if not better than the ones I had in Paris.

  • J B

The barista lady is completely incompetent. I got my cappuccino served at a BOILING temperature, badly burned my mouth!

  • Neil

Amazing French bakery right in Fort Greene. Great croissants baguettes and the pave bread is also one of my favourites.
