We are outraged by the poor service received at your resort during our stay which we had to cut short as we cannot continue to bear such punishment. We checked in by 2pm and met a very hot room which your staff assured us will cool after sometime. We went to lunch and were harassed by hawks. A hawk flew and grabbed my daughter's chicken off her plate scratching and frightening her. The food was rationed! We were not allowed to take more than 2 protein and the standard of the food was incredibly poor. We went back to meet a hut without power. We called the front desk and they said they were changing over and it will only be a few minutes. It took 45 minutes for the first flicker of power which died off immediately. The power came on and off for the whole stay...and we didn't have power for more than 15 mins at a time. When it was time for dinner, it started raining. We called for a shuttle to transport us to the buffet which took over an hour to show up. The staff told us that the buffet is happening outside under the rain, imagine! Ridiculousness and stupidity! We went straight to the management office and filed our complaint and requested a refund. At the same time, 2 other lodgers were filing similar complaints and requesting their refunds. One customer actually wanted to leave last night. We got back to our chalet and was met with ongoing darkness. We called and eventually the power came on but then the ACs weren't working. We called the front desk for assistance and they promised to send a technician. We waited for over an hour and no technician. We called again and she said she could not locate the technician. At this point we gave up. We resolved to get through the night and just leave the next day with our refund for the remaining 2 nights. We are very disappointed that you people have the audacity to bill so much with such ridiculously substandard service. Your facility doesn't even have room service and yet we are not allowed to bring in food or drinks. Your resort gives Nigeria a bad name and quite frankly needs to be overhauled!

Looked forward to a beautiful honeymoon with my spouse but the resort didn't meet my least expectation. First, we arrived late due to issues in the city and there was no check in to see if we were still coming, despite calling them earlier to inform them of the situation in the city. We arrived and the room was not ready. Dinner was so slow to be served. The room smelled damp and the air conditioning didn't circulate and dripped all through. The TV had no stations showing and the bathroom had marks on the wall. We had to request to have toilet paper provided. Cleaning didn't happen until we were to leave the resort. We were supposed to have coconut drinks served and a couple's massage. I'm still waiting for the masseuse they went to call, when I asked. Perhaps it's meant to be home service. Coconut drinks...probably meant for our dreams. We were given a bottle of red wine with no glasses. We were given a list of activities we could do but had to chase to be involved in an activity. For every activity we engaged in, someone had to be called first and then we'd wait. I don't want to get started about the swimming pools and the supposed "barbecue" we were served. We wanted to do the quad biking and were told we could only ride round the reception. Sigh. We were able to make the trip worthwhile by walking down the beach front and enjoying the serenity. We tried to swim in the least dirty pool and kayaking was fun. The resort is fine for a day at the beach but not worth it for staying a couple of days. The price for the honeymoon package wasn't worth the services rendered. I'd have expected the management to have, at least, prepared to make their guests have a great experience, as soon as they knew they were expecting them. Maintenance culture...zero! Well, they checked in after we left, considering the situation in the city, hence the one star .

This place a mixed yarn woven with good and bad. The two stars is for the ambience, the serenity, the calm, the view. Outside that, the resort needs to do better with the facility. The kids play area needs total revamp, most of the equipment are broken and poses a danger to kids. Especially the broken metal staircase on the slider. There was no water at some point for about 3 hours, imagine coming from the pool or beach and not being able to wash away the salt water and chlorine? Yeah that... The food is not interesting, Naija is the home of rich and good food, it was surprising to see how very little options were available, even for the continental dishes. There is also no buffet and even though you pay a fixed amount, the food is served in discretionary portions by the servers. Breakfast for the two days was also copy and paste - boiled yam, sausage, fried yam, beans and egg sauce with bread. That's it. Fruits were given grudgingly . Oh by the way, give 25minutes for the reception while checking in because the process is quite slow. Broken floor, exposed and low-hanging electric cables in the bathroom, expired cable TV subscription, broken water bikes, unclean pool. And you mostly get water served about 10 to 15 minutes into your meal. For everything you ask for at meal time, it's almost always finished, so you have to wait. P.S: Avoid the "Eebi o restaurant". The food is trash. Some of their staff are really nice, courteous and helpful. I like how they greet in Yoruba language. The management need to put back money into the business, shut it down, or sell to someone who is ready to take tourism to the next level. Our attitude in providing less-than excellent service in Nigeria has got to stop. We don't even try. Like common...people pay their hard/easy earned moneys for this. Bye

First, the extra couple of hours it took to get to @lacampagne_beachresort was totally worth it because unlike most other beaches during this time of the year, there was no crowd, just how I like it. The beach is clean and beautiful. The Afrocentrism is evident with the use of Ankara, raffia and local materials for the facilities, decorations, even the staff uniforms. It has great options for activities like a pretty long pool, a sports field, Horse riding, quad biking. Save yourself some energy by getting the tickets at the roundabout (a black sculpture which is the central landmark) before heading to the riverside for Kayaking or Boat Cruise. You could also get a floating double bed, how romantic. Actually, I think this place is best suited to couples and honeymooners. The beach houses looked quite cozy. I hear everyone is supposed to be welcomed to the resort with some fresh palm wine but that didn’t happen. It was available for sale in the resort though. There’s an African kitchen, restaurant and snack bar but none actually sold any food or edibles. Everything pointed to the 1pm buffet which was not ready by 1pm or even a buffet at all. You couldn’t serve yourself and you could only have one plate of food, no seconds. The food was basic but you get as much as your plate can take. What’s a beach without coconut? Their coconut bar that was empty but the locals came through with my beloved coconut water, fresh from the tree. 1k got me two but that’s because I was too excited to negotiate. There was a small, lively carnival group that was quite entertaining. Someone call Mary cos I saw her little lamb.

We went there for family vacation on Christmas day. I should be giving a 2 star instead of 3 but because my family had fun instead of the terrible services. First, this place is awesome and unique, wonderful waterfront, endless facilities and games, nice huts etc. They have a car that pick you from the entrance once you buy your ticket. Now to the terrible services: the huts are very expensive with almost no room service, if you complain the customer service tells you off. They're so arrogant that you hear things like, "you came to us, we didn't invite you". The waiters won't attend to you, they keep telling you that they're coming. We had to look for mats, chairs and tables ourselves. The foods are terrible and super expensive (the pounded yam was filled with seeds and the rice half cooked). My best advice is, come early in the morning if it's daycation and come with your food and drinks, safer to pay the cockage fee. This place is located about 2hrs + from Lagos City. It is quite a beautiful location for honeymoon, vacation, movies, team bonding, etc. All the need to do is get a world class team to manage this gift of nature that they a wasting here. It is not about charging hefty fees only

It was very refreshing to listen to the ocean and to enjoy a fairly less polluted beach. We travelled by boat and please do not make that mistake as the service was significantly delayed, we were transported in a boat which smelled so much of petrol fumes that a number of our co-travellers developed severe headaches. The road journey may take a while but is definitely less harmful and stressful - never thought I would say that about Lagos traffic. The rooms are OK, fridges function somehow, no freezers. Some A/C work, and if something does not work don't bother reporting - it will not be attended to. Goats and vervet monkeys are animals around and abound. The food is well below standard, no effort, no wow and certainly no internationally exposed Chef. But probably just ok not to be too hungry. Bring your own supplies of cookies, snacks and small chops to manage through the day. The service is slow, not very forthcoming or accommodating of you as a special guest who leaves significant amounts of money at this place. A pity that one has to pay so much money to indulge in unspoilt nature. The returns are a far cry from what is offered elsewhere on the continent, by far less.

I had a disappointing experience at Lacampagne Tropicana. The website promised a private pool for my apartment, but it was used by non-lodging visitors. The quad bikes were in poor condition, without fuel and barely functional. Despite staying for two nights, the activities mentioned in my package were disorganized. When I reported these issues, the supervisor seemed indifferent and unconcerned. There was no signage to restrict the pool to lodgers only, and the breakfast quality was subpar. Also, I came in at night, and there was no single check point on that quite road. I think the resort management should collaborate with the police to ensure the secure arrival and departure of their guests. However, not everything was negative. Shedrack, the attendant assigned to me, was excellent and very helpful. The kayaking experience was enjoyable, and the fried Crocker fish was delicious. The rooms were clean, although the fridge in my second room didn't work. Overall, I rate my experience 3/10. Future visitors should manage their expectations, and I personally would not return.

Been here for two days and really do not want to leave, except when I remember the financial commitment..lol. I came here with my wife and we are having a time of our lives. You really can't imagine the beauty and splendor housed in the chalets which come in different sizes and packages. Imagine mud houses with top quality interior decorations with the unmistakable African themed outlook. Of course, the houses may be pricey, but you are sure to have a very pleasant and memorable experience. The food is awesome... Breakfast is complimentary buffet, lunch and dinner is on you. The rooms are super cozy and ocean view is remarkable. The guides are very friendly too. We took a tour round the resort up to the "founders camp" and saw relics of the resort's history. There is river within the resort, isolated from the ocean and several swimming pools, well treated and crystal clear water. There is a Gym and several outdoor games. This is a Place to visit with family and kids and I will definitely come back again.

Room: Need some maintenance, a couple of spots were leaking in our "Chalet" when it rained. Also two ACs were not functioning well when we landed but the team tried their best to fix before nightfall. Food: Breakfast was great and they alternated the spots during our stay. This sort of forces you to see all that is on offer by the resort and the view was always great. Pool: The pool was not the cleanest but this isn't a suprise as the pool is built around beach sand and trees. Children Playground: This is not the safest, the metal stairs for the sliders is rusty and about to give way, the other equipments are also broken. This was the most disappointing spot for me. Luckily the pool wasn't deep, so my little one still had a great time. Overall, the environment was great and is the real deal. Clean air, great space to mediate, reflect, read, etc. I'd recommend.

This is the best resort to enjoy your vacation.... far away from the hustle and bustle of Lagos.... situated between the Atlantic ocean and a mangrove... We thoroughly enjoyed our stay... La Campagne is truly Africa Nature Resort.. The staff were always motivated to help us. The food was excellent, the chef ensured that our pallet needs were met. The Chalets ambience was lovely & very serene. We look forward to coming back.

The cost is not worth it. Staff are 100% professional and ready to attend to guests' needs, friendly and courteous with smiley faces even though they are clearly stretched due to poor facilities. The LABA room I was in rate 20% coziness; shower not working well, air conditioning not cooling well, bathroom poor lighting. Facilities, ambience, environment rate 35%. Housekeeping 20%. General food rating will be 40%, meals aren't ready on time, worst part is lunch and dinner are constantly made of different variants of rice. PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE DURING RAINY SEASON TOO. They've got the best masseuse here though. The website does not give updated and accurate information. The items listed for the different packages aren't totally what they give. Do not guck yourself. This place would be better as a museum than a resort. It is old and dingy and they are not ready to be innovative. NOT WORTH IT. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Finally getting to go out during this corona period with La Campagne being what took me out was wonderful. The drive there was horrendous because it is so far from my place of residence but it was worth it. Driving into the driveway, the ambience immediately screams leave your troubles elsewhere. You are immediately welcomed by the sign that says "Ekaabo". After payment, a shuttle carried us inside to the beach area, though it isn't a long walk inside (company policy). My friends and I took a free mat and found a spot under a palm tree by the beach and setup our picnic. We ate, slept and listening to music there. We didn't want it to end. The sounds of the waves crashing on the bank, the cool sea breeze, clean sand and water, it was pure bliss. There are lots of fun things to do like kayaking, swimming, horse riding and there are food courts. I would definitely love to go back again and probably stay a night or two.

I had so much expectations before going to La Campagne Tropicana Resort, but getting there, it wasn’t what I expected. I think it’s an amazing place, only that It’s not like the regular beaches in Lagos. what makes it unique is the fact that it has this African Aesthetics vibes. Although, the environment looks like it needs a lot of renovations and innovations. Anyway, my friends and I had fun Celebrating one of our friend’s birthday there. So here are few things to know; •If you are Coming from the Mainland, it’s advisable to leave your homes very early (it could take at least 4 hours to get there) • If you are on the Island, it’s also advisable to leave your homes early ( it could take up to 2 hours to get there depending on your locations) • Make sure to go with fun and interesting people (Trust me) • Lower your expectations before going there (Like I said, it’s not like the regular beaches in lagos)

  • kayode momoh

My experience was not pleasant at all. I expected more from the place but the reality was different. First, it took the reception almost 30minutes to confirm payment I made 48 hours earlier. Then I had to park my car outside of the facility overnight. No one offered to show us around the facility. The facility was isolated, old and lacked maintenance, the children's play area had swings and platforms that were rusted and very dangerous for children. The AC in my initial room was not working and the TV volume was not audible. The second room I was moved to had mosquitoes and rats running around in the middle of the night so we had to leave the lights on overnight. The food was not bad and the environment was okay with the sandy beaches, palm trees and lush grasses. I would not visit again though.

Big scam.. Very expensive yet very horrible service. Once they take your money that's all. You will be chasing them for service. They will not deliver the service and they will happily tell you its non refundable. It rained earlier this evening. The roofs of our room are leaking right on the bed. Chairs and other facilities are broken. Rickety shuttle vehicles. Low standard meals. Thank God we came with some snacks if not we would have starved. It's 19.30pm and they are yet to give us dinner which we paid for. We have given up. Everyone has gone to sleep. We booked for 2 nights but I swear I can't stay that long. Once day break I will zoom off with my family. They can keep the balance money.

Loved the view of the waters & some freebies but there were few bad experiences. The main thing about the place is that they keep the resort and the beach VERY CLEAN. Another good thing here is when you call for any issue, they are quick to try to solve it. Although, the resort can be better. 1. They need Bell boys who carry guests' luggage to their rooms. 2. They need receptionists who are warm and welcoming... (the ones at the front desk may be overworked and need shifts)? 3. The food is a very small variety and overly rationed. 4. The rooms are not prepared and ready when guests arrive. Our room had ac and dstv issues plus missing bulbs and water not running in some bathrooms in the 3 bedroom chalet. These had to be worked on as we were settling into the rooms. Very inconvenient. 5. I feel they treat foreigners better than locals and we are all paying guests. They can do better.

One of the best resort I have visited till now. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The view of the sunset from that point was mesmerizing. I must say the location of the resort is at best place. Am glad and blessed the day I met Marketing Supervisor Onyinyechi in our office. She briefed us about the features at the resort so we decided to come and chill to have a feel of what she shared with us about the place. All respect for her who does a great job here. Excellent hospitality.

The beach was nice, resort is a calm place good for relaxing in the nature. But the price of the room is very expensive compared to the service provided. There was power outage for few houses, which led to unavailability of water . Although the power came back but the water remained cut. Pool management in regards to water restoration, we called the management many times and the did not bother to send someone to check and kept saying it will be restored soon. And we went to reception and expressed our dissatisfaction and complained again ,all i heard was "im sorry" .We weren't able to use bathroom or shower at all. And we had babies that we couldn't shower or clean. In addition, the house was very dirty when we arrived and furniture is really old. I was very disappointed as i had high expectations, and i would not recommend it to anyone.

I've always wanted to visit La Campagne Tropinana Beach ever since, until the day I finally visited and it was giving. It was the best experience I've ever had since I've been visiting other beach/resort. The staff were wonderfully nice, great customer service, well behaved and composed. The room was well equipped and the scenery was peaceful and I felt relieved of all stress on me. I'm already making plans to visit again because such experience is worth having again. I must say, I never knew the good marketer Onyinyechi did to us when she visited our office (me in particular) to discuss/tell is about the features at the resort. We sluggishly decided to visit the resort without knowing how helpful and peaceful it will be to us all. It was really worth it at the end.

The place is fun but if I could, I'd give their chalets/ accomodation zero. Our toilet was leaking, spoilt and stinky. There was big green stain all around it. After the plumber managed to change the waste pipe, despite several calls the housekeepers refused come to wash the toilet till midnight when we were already asleep. So on night 1 we slept in a room with a stinky toilet at the rate of almost 150k a night. Night 2... we had to run away from the room when rats came into our room. The manager offered to spray insecticide (raid) in the room. Imagine. When we insisted we couldn't spend the night with rats, we were left outside then later downgraded to a smaller chalet with small beds. The shower in the new room was bad, we had to start fetc

I went with my fiancé two days after Christmas and any resort is supposed to have a plan or itinerary for guest but it was terrible! No activity, food was very bad and pricey, we were served same food for lunch and dinner, nothing is functioning, I’ll call it a scam because for a pricey place like that, it’s only expected to have way more than what we got. They deceive you on social media to lure you to the resort. The staff has no idea about what is working, if you have a problem with anything or ask questions they just pass you to the next person and pretend to help, I was looking forward to leave and go back home. The only good thing about la campagne is the veiw and ambience for pictures and that is only outdoor because the rooms are also shabby as well. Please do not use this resort at all!

  • Okey Udo

I had a good time visiting here. The staff was great. The only issues I experienced was intermittent power outages and sometimes there will not be water in the toilets and bathroom. The ambiance is very good and natural. You wake up in the morning to the sound of birds singing and high ocean waves with cool sea breeze. Watching the sun rise or set is one of the highlights of my stay at the resort. The meals are also very good, meals are prepared on time with lots of variety. Every corner has its own swimming pool with makes it interesting should you prefer to swim in private. Children play areas is good, although a lot of the play things are old and some are no longer fit for use.

It's a really cool spot away from the noise and heavy traffic. The distance though is not a joke and I mean from anywhere in lagos. Took off from ajah and it took 2:30hrs. The environment is beautiful and there's a creek where u can watch fishes and just enjoy the senery. Theres a package you pay for that allows you fish as well. However, the place looks old and poorly maintained. I will advise you go as a group so the facility can create activities for you. If you've been to other exotic resorts, this is not the spot for you. If you're just starting to explore places, then it's fine. Generally, they have a lot of rehabilitation to do.

It was a lovely place to visit. The ambiance was great, the staff were very courteous, and the environment very clean. They had some lovely huts with 2,3,4 bedrooms right by the beach shores although the prices were very high. Some of these huts had their own private pool which was so cool. That being said, they had some serious flaws. The food wasn't that great especially for the price so its best you bring yours. The fun activities were also not available as they were poorly managed. The only fun activities available were the pools(surprisingly very clean), i think i saw a snooker board and a table board as well. There's also a pool volleyball also so bring a ball. The place is serious fun when you come with your food, your crowd and some serious money.

  • Chidinma Unamz

It's not worth the amount spent. Over a 100k per night and nothing spectacular to show for it. All private pools were dirty! AC was barely functional. The food nonetheless was great! Staff were polite(though with an undertone of expectations), it'salso a very beautiful place. We paid for a package and everything in the plan was shabby! No lineup of events, you practically have to ask for every information. Massage was rushed and uninteresting, romantic dinner by the beach was a joke!!! Poorly lit space,, no decor, limited food options, Had a huge Ram eating from my plate and disturbing my meal with no one in sight to assist. My advice to anyone planning to visit? Do not spend a night. Visit and return home same day.

  • John Wemambu

The stay on itself was great, beautiful ambience, nice scenic view, with lots of activities to do. But to enjoy all these your best bet is to go on a weekend or a holiday So there are other lodgers to interact with. But amenities are virtually all completely run down, needs a serious uplift. Meals, the breakfast buffet is something to always look forward to, with variety on display. But the other meals are nothing to write home about. My favourite time is around mid-morning when the local fishermen are all coming back to shore.I love the zeal and zest with which they work, singing their Ghanian choruses. Responsive staff.

DO NOT VISIT!!! Staffs are rude and not ready to attend to guest needs. The chalet I was in lost power for over 5hrs during the day, No air conditioning, I was literally baking…it was a terrible experience. All guests were required to provide individual id even if majority of the group provided already. They turned back a group of lodgers at 11pm after they drove 3hrs to visit the resort just because one person didn’t have an id. The chalets are in a state of disrepair, no room service, the bars are understocked, food is bar and basic. I had to check out early as I couldn’t cope with the deplorable service. NOT WORTH THE PRICE OR THE LONG DRIVE. DO NOT VISIT YOU WILL REGRET IT.

  • Hormalicha Nwa

My second time visiting and I will say I had more fun than my first visit, from the pool to the hut like sitter, the swing chairs, kayaking, volleyball, beach front, the beautiful serene, boat cruise, speed boat, power bike rides and of course very polite staffs. It's really a fun place for family, solo dates or couple's time out. There is always a fun thing for everyone to do. The resort is so large that it can accommodate a lot of persons at a time without appearing overcrowded. The toilet is neat and well kept. Psssstttt if u are coming from the mainland try and leave early so as to beat traffic and get there early to enjoy your fun time to the fullest.

  • Per846 (Bharatiya)

Nice beach , but seems the owners have changed recently. Prices have increased and more things are now paid instead of free earlier, of course entry is not free. Staff is good but the shuttle service need big improvement as they keep you waiting. However the place is a big plus and beautiful for couples and families. I recently went there with kids but unfortunately at the time of reaching there it started to rain heavily unfortunately staff was not even bothered to assist and we got drenched. There are some huts with seating capacity of 10-15 people which appears free but they are not :) All in all a great place to visit due to scenary and low crowds.

  • Boluwatife Okelola

If you could rule out the trek it took to get there, It's a generally nice place to be. If like me, the rustic scene (with the groves, animals moving about in their natural habitat, waking to birds chirping and the abundance of water; the entire place is built on a beachfront) is your vibe, then it's blissful. The staff were very polite and helpful because we know how service workers are in Nigeria. The rooms could do with some maintenance work; the roofs of several chalets (my group occupied) were leaking, our door was broken, and sockets were faulty. Their meals gave what was required. I had pounded yam there for the first time.

It's such a beautiful resort in a very serene environment away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. The African architecture idea of living, made the resort a 5-star accommodation destination for holiday seekers. The variety of African and intercontinental meals available makes the whole experience whole. Check them out either in Lagos, Ondo, Abuja, Ghana, the Carribean or anywhere else, the awesome experience is the same world over.

Good evening Tropicana. This is a serious matter right now. Kindly refund the 200k that was paid into your paga account on the 28th of June 2023. You people have denied getting the payment and have also refused to come forward with your account statement so we can reconcile it. The payment was made from a zenith bank account to your paga account.. I have spoken with your representative and I have also dropped messages on your whatsapp. I'm expecting your response before we harness any other option we may deem fit to get back the money. Thank you

Pathetic experience service. I checked in by 3 pm and the normal checkin time is 2pm. They made us to wait till 5pm saying room is not cleaned and next day 11am some staff came and told me I should checkout by 11 am else I need to pay double. Kodi laba 4 cottage was near shore and ac was not working and water was leaking all over the room. Morning before 12am they came 4 times(I was not even dressed but I open door ) to check my minibar even after I told them I have not even taken the complementary water and threatening me I should pay double.

The most horrible experience EVER!!! I wasn't allowed to check in till 2, and they didnt have my room ready till 4! I was put in a hut where their A/C doesnt work. I was promised that the jacuzzi worked and it doesn't! I paid $500 for nothing!! No wonder they don't do refunds. They cheat you into purchasing something that you don't get. No matter how much you plea for compassion, they only care about profit. If it wasn't for the GM, our trip would have been a disaster but lucky, he compensated us with a free boat ride and a free massage

Spent 7 nights of my Honeymoon at LaCampagne and it was really memorable. From the first day to the last day, i enjoyed myself so much. Had no boredom moment and they had enough activity to engage in. The environment was beautiful and serene. Great ambience, natural breeze and The staff were friendly. The foods were amazing and always ready as early as possible with varieties of option. Enjoyed the private, cool and calm environment which was perfect for what I needed. Their live performances wowed me.

Great environment to relax and spend time with the family, but can improve on Maintenance of the facility. The staff are quite friendly and always willing to help, but the facility needs urgent attention, and also the reliance on archaic methods of keeping records and passing information between various departments is ridiculous. The worst part is the catering, for the 3 nights i spent,i didn't get one hot meal, very disappointing . If the standard is not improved, its really not worth going there to stay, but the beach is awesome and was the highest point of my visit there.

  • Obianujunwa Ifedi

The long trip from my house to the resort was as refreshing as my experience there. From the front desk to other department in the resort, the staffs were most welcoming, professional, friendly and helpful in all we needed. The view was extraordinary and they have various activities ranging from kayaking , fishing, swimming pool, table games, horse riding etc. My experience at La campagne Tropicana was a superb one and I'm definitely going to visit again?

So much work needs to be done here. Facilities are very underwhelming, food is foul, the rooms all need work, you have to walk everywhere, and that’s okay, but there’s no constant flow of tricycles to take you when you’re tired. It seems like if you’re not going for the most expensive room, don’t bother doing longer than a day’s visit. The staff are nice and attentive, but need equipment to make them more efficient. The security guards are also disorganized.

Good food but terrible service. Their staff are not trained on hospitality. They are very disorganized. What you pay for is not given to you unless you demand for it. Nobody really knows anything and there are no phones in the room to call for help when you need it. The cultural theme is nice and all but the execution is really poor. There are cockroaches in the room and house keeping doesn't come if you don't request for it. The facility maintenance is poor and they are late to everything. Breakfast at 9am, lunch at 3:30pm and dinner at 8pm

  • Bellin Onyori

For such an expensive place, it’s horrible! Almost everything is broken. Maintenance is bad! Rooms are so expensive yet covered with mosquitoes! I contracted malaria at this place. They didn’t fleet my room the first night so it was the worse, i had to hide under the blanket just to avoid fighting them off. Even after fleeting my room on day 2, i still had issues with the mosquitoes and woke up to more bites. What makes it worse is they dont do refunds or any kind of real compensation. Save your money & your time.

Its cozy in the evening. Has a very nice and beautiful long pool asides many other pools just in front of different apartments if you like a private pool. Has a very beautiful setup with wonderful apartments. The ocean breeze at night is like no other. Its very safe and with a lot of out door activities like, lawn tennis, basket ball, drama or exciting traditional dance display in the evening. The restaurants gives you an amazing African feel. The beach is cool and private. Have a wonderful time

  • Bruvee Ohworisi

It's amazing! It's clean, astoundingly beautiful! The staff are great and courteous. There's a free chauffeur ride from the gate to the beach. Entry is #5000, you pay extra 1k for bringing in your own food. The beaches are great, there are 2 swimming pools available. You can go kayaking and riding. It's a great place with minimal noise. Rating 5 stars cos I'm so happy. Only downside is that it's so far from town so it took a while to get here. Have a beautiful trip when you visit!

Better than expected. I wont lie I had low hopes for this place based on reviews I've read from guests that lodged. But I was blown away, apparently they've stepped up; from the courteous staff to the serene environment. It was an awesome experience. Would go again and again. P.S. the downside to this place is the checking in, it takes a long time to check in idk why. If they can make some registrations be done online, it'll save a lot of time at the reception desk.

  • Abdallah Ghraizi

Beautiful scenery, however its sad to see how this place has become over commercialized: Trash everywhere, not a dustbin or cleaner in site. Irrelevant poorly built wooden infrastructures have been erected all over the place. No attention to details! The service has become so slow and I felt the staff lost their sense of culture and greeting that I was used too in the past. It's sad to see one of the few places I considered paradise slowly getting diminshed...

  • Gee

Kinda difficult...in room experience wasn't too great but everything else was really good. The staff are very pleasant, the views are beautiful, plenty to do. Got there at night so didn't really get the experience till the next day and was worth the drive at the end. Unfortunately the showers didn't work properly, the intercom didn't work at all. When i got in my ac wasn't working but they put that right pretty quickly. The overall experience was good though

  • chroniclesofwakawaka 1

The ambience here is superb. Perfect for time out relaxing by the beach side. Great for family too. There's lots of nice activities to engage the kids. The staff are helpful and friendly too. If you are used to 5star hotels, you may get cranky at a number of stuff. The breakfast buffet is just okay. Nothing remarkably interesting. Food choices too are not so many. Focus here in my view should be enjoying the waves, the seaside and just really chilling.

This is really a nice place to be. A fun place for a weekend getaway with family and friends. This place is more enjoyable when you visit as a group. Lots of activities such as horse riding, swimming, boat cruise, kayaking, volley ball and water volleyball. Their forest ride and shooting game was not available they day I visited, did not ask about snorkeling. Moreover, accommodation is expensive. All the same, it is a nice place to have some fun.

  • Olamide Adeyemi

This place would wow you if that's your first time going to a supposed luxury resort; my experience with them was not the best. The roof was leaking in 3 places in the Oso room, I wanted to have my bath and the water was off and having to remind the staff about their duties is not ideal. Overall, I wouldn't recommend to friends or go back.

After my first visit in August, I had to go back with my family for a second visit. The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves after spending two nights and were reluctant to leave. They learnt how to kayak instantly on their own...it was fun all the way. I particularly like the interaction with nature. The different breakfast settings...that's actually one of my highlights, not knowing what to expect the next morning. I surely would visit again.

  • Iyke Ikwuagwu

Lovely place. Lots of outdoor activi ties for both kids and adults. Better during festive periods with lots of other people. Friendly staff providing required support. However, no proper shops within the community, difficult to get some summer/camping essentials or different type of food as you need to drive for about 1.5hrs to the town. You're allowed to bring in drinks and food though. Overall...4 STAR experience

You should visit too

  • Ogechi Elugwara

One of the best views i have ever seen in a very long time. I enjoyed my every minute I spent there and I wished I stayed longer but I had to leave because of time. My only advice is that when preparing to go there just book a night in one of the available rooms because it’s better than having to drive there and drive back home because I can tell you that the journey to that resort is very very long and i am not kidding.

La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort offers a picturesque escape with its serene beachfront location. The resort's lush landscapes and traditional African architecture create a unique ambiance. There are variety of activities available, from water sports to cultural experiences. However, there were maintenance issues that should be fixed. Overall, it's a charming retreat for those seeking a blend of nature and relaxation.

A great environment to relax and just breathe. I absolutely enjoyed the dance and singing in the evenings, the food is really tasty and there are varieties to pick from or try everything if you must. Great place in general.

This beach resort is actually beautiful. There are a lot of beach activities from kayaking to swimming to horse riding. However it's not budget friendly as the entry fee is #5000 and you have to pay for the water activities except swimming. I had fun with my girls. Kayaking is an extra #1000 charge. You also have to pay extra #1000 to bring in food. The ambience is great for pictures and the pool is beautiful.

  • Osaloni Olufemi

Wonderful and quiet place for couples, with Atlantic Ocean view and not for you to swim in it. The Africa theme chalet concept is cool. Nice place for pictures. Most relaxing place to visit with no distractions, especially for a couple that wants to spend time with each other. It has interesting activities like Kayaking and boat cruise which was fun for me. The room was a bit hot in the day time but at night it was quite cold so I guess it was the mafia rooftop. Our don't worry, the staff are all well trained, with good customer care skills.

It is nice place to passed vacation and some leisure time. Nice and beautiful view, close to Ocean. Anyone can feel the waves from the room. Staffs are very friendly and supportive. Moreover, they needs to work in breakfast and foods items. Anyone can have fresh coconuts from the tree. At my last visit , we found they are cutting so many coconuts trees which may affect the beauty of the ambient.

- Definitely not for foreigners. - Food and nature are good. But it has a steep beach. In fact, no one swims in it. - Hotel service is a total failure. AC was not working. Water was not flowing properly. Apparently not a single penny was spent on the resort's maintenance. We would have left leaving a 600 dollar's worth of stay per night if it's not for our kids.

Beautiful, serene environment. Every land activity is free (except kayaking) so you don't have to worry much after paying for entry into the resort. I visited on a week day so it was not crowded, which I loved. I don't know what it's like on weekends, but it's pretty far so I guess it wouldn't be so bad on weekends either.
