I wrote this review awhile back and still stand by it! HOMOPHOBIA (which is just another form of racism) SHOULD NOT BE SUPPORTED NOR TOLERATED!! So I will start by saying that I actually enjoyed the baked goods I tried at La Creme Bakery's table at The Food and Wine Festival recently. The eclairs were awesome! What I did NOT enjoy (hence the 1 star review) was the HOMOPHOBIC TREATMENT which my fiancé and I received! There were 2 ladies working behind the table. One of whom was an African-American woman who, while sitting in a chair in front of us, hardly acknowledged us, never really looked at us, and forced a one sided smile out of her mouth when I was speaking to them. The main person who helped us was so pleasant at the beginning of the conversation, but her energy quickly shifted when she realized the wedding cake we were inquiring about was for us....a gay couple! My fiancé expressed to her that he really loves Sweet Lady Jane's triple berry cake and asked if La Creme had anything comparable. The reply she gave us actually surprised me...her exact words were "Well maybe you should get your wedding cake from Sweet Lady Jane…She'd probably be cheaper than us anyway." and continued to keep working making it very obvious that she didn't want to talk to us. According to other yelp reviews I've read, it seems that we are not the only ones who've experienced this! Rebecca B.'s review is also about the service she received. It's really sad, because as I stated above....l really liked the baked goods I sampled. I just won't spend money (the same money everyone else makes) at a place where we are treated rudely. Shame on those 2 ladies for their ignorant attitudes! And my heart goes out to them for being so small minded. They are entitled to their beliefs... just as men were entitled to believe women shouldn't vote before August 18, 1920, when the 19th amendment passed allowing women the right to vote. Remember....behind every great man is a great woman! And behind every great woman is a fabulous gay!

I called to ask if they can make a small 8'' cake for a birthday. The first person I spoke to said they could have it done by the time specified. The person said to email the details of how I wanted the cake so I did. The n later I called to confirm if they received my email. Another person answered. She said yes they received it and they would call me back after they spoke to the baker. Then I got an email that said that they spoke to the baker and the baker said they couldn't make the cake, 'sorry'. This response had no explanation as to why they couldn't make the cake when the design was fairly simple and they had the all the ingridients they needed as per the first person I spoke to. And I was willing to pay whatever price they asked. This is bad customer service and I'll never buy anything from this place in the future. Shows their professionalism.

Today I tried calling to place an order and the person who answered the phone, name I did not get, but he was rude and completely ruined my mood.(Enough to make me post a bad review) We are planning a grand opening for my job and we would like to have cookies there to promote a local business but he was completely uninterested. His tone was snarky and he said he was not interested in working with us because our brand is based out of Beverly Hills. I guess he does not care about getting more business for the company he works for but now I will make sure to not recommend this business to any of our clients.

My wedding venue recommended this bakery for my wedding cake and I was pleasantly surprised with my experience from the cake tasting, to the customer service, to the delivery of the cake, and the cake itself. It was so much fun customizing the design of our cake by design and flavor of the cake. We choose a white cake with a raspberry filling and it was delicious. The cake was gone by the end of the night and our guests loved it. If I need a cake again, I am definitely going back.

My favorite bakery in the west valley! I moved out of state a few years ago and whenever I'm back in town, I go out of my way to stop in for one of their cake pafaits. In fact, I'm currently visiting for a week, to celebrate my son's 21st birthday and I'm heading there shortly to order a cake, (and grab of few treats), for his special day!!!

We requested a custom made cake and cupcakes for our baby’s first birthday party and they completely went above and beyond and surpassed our expectations! We were so happy with her cake and cupcakes and the cake was so delicious and soft. They made sure all of our needs were met and really made her birthday so special!

AMAZING LITTLE BAKERY! This place is a hidden treasure and a must try! The old fashion, home made style sweet delights make your mouth water as soon as you step in through their door. Forget your super market bakery, and donut shops, they simply do not compare. I can’t wait to come back for more!

Amazing first experience at La Crème. Walked in, asked for a recommendation. The vanilla flan was amazing. Only thing better was the friendly atmosphere.

I bought my sister's wedding cake here last year. It was delicious. I have ordered cakes for work several times and they are always so friendly and helpful! And the cakes are always awesome!

Love their small cakes! So much variety and they've all been delicious. Update 07/22: I ordered their strawberry shortcake and it was delicious!
