DO NOT allow Jennifer to cut your hair!! Up until recently, I only involved myself with positive business reviews. Then after Jennifer left me in a puddle with destroyed hair that I've spent 2 years growing out, my son asked that I write a review so that this doesn't happen to anyone else, especially before Christmas. JENNIFER BUTCHERED MY HAIR. A positive light on this is that I've reconnected with an amazing stylist whom I call in tears with holes in a mans haircut. It is not fixable right now but she did a corrective cut and estimates I'll need 3-4 more of those until it looks good. It will still not bring back my hair. I've had extensions only in the front bc of breakage. I was ready to be done but had already spent $$$ on new ones. Because of Jennifer, my hair is now insanely short, like an old school women's wedge cut, and bc of the holes and gaps she CUT I now need extensions in the back. She knew my back story and how a chemical treatment broke my hair. All I asked, while being so patient with how LONG EVERYTHING takes her, was that she never do something she didn't know how to do and to tell me. I am out $$$$ for 2 orders of extensions, along with the heartbreak this has caused and Jennifer takes ZERO responsibility. *I will update with photos once I'm ready. I have already lost so much time, CONFIDENCE, and money bc this person is masquerading as a professional hair stylist. I can only hope to prevent this for someone else.

It has been a while trying to find a good hairstylist. Manuela has it all, caring for making room in her agenda, following up on the appointment, and the most important: making the most out of it. I came in to fix a bad haircut, she listened very carefully and made the best effort to understand my needs. She then explained what was possible and what was the most convenient for my hair type and needs. It was just great, her calmness and confidence just makes you surrender your hair/head to her :) She took her time to do what she needed, I never felt rushed and she made good timely checkpoints to ensure I was happy about how it all was going. Manuela is very knowledgeable and a great stylist. I plan to continue with her, my next thing: color! The haircut was reasonably priced and it was all done with top notch products, care and in a timely manner. The place is super nice and the ambiance is great, everyone is welcoming and seems to be really dedicated and focused on their client needs.

I got my lashes done by Elizabeth and they came out AMAZING!!! I also got a wax and she made me feel so comfortable. It’s such a great atmosphere. Everyone there is friendly and their prices are very reasonable. They have everything you need there, it’s a one stop shop. Elizabeth also did such a great job on my lashes and wax that i already prebooked my next appointments!!! Adri and Sharol did my hair yesterday and i absolutely loved it! i have gotten so many complements on my hair and lashes! i was there all day because i have very long hair and a lot of it but honestly I enjoyed my time there to where it didn’t even feel that long. They were very knowledgeable and answered every question I had (which was a lot). the price for my hair considering how long and full it was also extremely reasonable. attached below is the most recent picture of my lashes and hair

They are switching locations and I'm so ready to see what they have in mind. My first time here and I was so pleased with not only the service I received, but the customer service was outstanding. These ladies truly cares about their customers and it really shows. Becca was so AWESOME!!!! Yes you might think it's some high prices but I guarantee you the service is out this world. I was so amazed my first time and it felt so welcoming(like family) I'm making an appointment and this will be my 3rd visit. I was supposed to leave a review the first time I visited but I wanted to make sure every visit was like my last. It was even better because each person has great personalities.

Adriana gave me the BEST facial I have literally ever had in my life! I saw her yesterday and she did a vitamin C facial and waxed my brows and also tinted them. I loved how thorough she was and not to mention how professional she was! You can tell she loves what she does and takes pride in making sure that each and ever customer is pleased! I have also told a friend of mine that she should pay Adriana a visit cause it's worth it! After seeing her yesterday, I see why it's really hard to book with her and why her schedule stays full! If you plan to see her, make sure you book ahead! Another reason why I like this salon is due to the fact that's in walking distance to me! :)

I have been looking for a place to have a regular facials and have i ever found the place. I love this place. I had a Vitamin C Facial (Groupon). This was my first time. I believe the young lady's name was Erica. She had not been doing facials long but you could not tell. She was wonderful. I felt so comfortable. I hated for it to end. She recommends to have a facial every 4-6 weeks. I was sad because I did not want to wait that long. I tried to make my appt for 4 weeks but she was booked so I had to settle for 5 weeks. It is SO worth it. I went back to Groupon and bought 2 more sessions immediately. a perfect 10.

I was lucky enough to take advantage of the Groupon deal with Roxanne, and have gotten the Best haircut of my life ! I also did my first Bayalage and I was soooo enamored by her skill! She spent maybe 3 1/2 hours on my hair all for it to turn out amazing! I appreciate her attention to detail and the time she spent to make sure I was 100% satisfied with my hair. Just look at the photo! Thank you Roxanne! I will be back and will totally recommend La Paz and, of course, Roxanne to all my friends and family!

This is a wonderful day spa in the Heights. I get my hair cut my Cindy; my husband gets his hair cut by Minda; and our two sons go to Michelle. It's rare to have so much talent packed into one place. This place has heart. Adriana, the owner, does fantastic facials which have really clarified and evened out the tone of my skin. Finally, Tracy is the the best nail technician in the city. She will nurture your feet and hands.

I am so happy with the work that Sharol did. It is so beautiful and I haven't felt this confident in a long time. I came in for a cut and balayage and what I ended up with exceeded my expectations. Everyone at the salon is so friendly, it is the most comfortable I have felt at a salon before. I love the atmosphere in there. I definitely found my new go to salon and my new stylist Sharol.

Went in and had a Brazillian Wax done by Erica I am overall very pleased, she's truly the best!! Front desk lady is very attentive and nice she greeted me right away. I bought the offer on Groupon and had absolutely no problems calling and setting up an appointment for the next day just amazing will be coming here from now on; so happy I found La Paz Day Spa!!(:

I came in to this salon for my first time today and I had a great experience. I did a toner with Astrid and she is very professional and nice. I love that she explains the process of coloring your hair. I also brought my 1 year old & 2 year old for a trim. Astrid and her team had a lot of patience with my girls. Thank you La Paz Salon for being amazing!

I have been using Adriana for my waxing about 5 years now and LOVE her!! She recently nano-bladed my eyebrows too and I’m obsessed. I won’t go to anyone else. She’s prompt and makes the process as painless as possible, and we always have great convos. The whole staff is friendly and helpful. Be sure to book in advance - they’re popular for a reason!!

It’s been a few weeks since I got a balayage w the Groupon. I have to say it’s a no for me. Colors are completely different from my blonde hair at the end to my newly touched roots. Never had an issue like that before where the stylist didn’t ensure the colors were similar. It looks straight up yellow at the top. I’ll have to get it fixed elsewhere.

I got full highlights, a cut and a style by Manuala. Y'all go see her. She is amazing! Since it was my first visit she talked me through the plan to ensure my expectations were equal to what reality would be with my color. It came out better than I even dreamed. She was super friendly and fast. I already have my follow appointment scheduled.

A week after my haircut cut and color...and still very happy eith it! Adriana took my all black hair color to nlack with bright red highlights. And she gave me good tips to keep it vibrant. Im glad i found this place and will be back and recommend! Im considering doing microshading brows next...it looks like they do a great job on that too!

In reference to another comment just made...we are Hispanic and I was referred by another Hispanic customer...I totally disagree. Not once have we ever been met with anything but very friendly, smiling customer service. We have been to many places and we won't go any where else. The experience has been 100% wonderful so far.

Sharol was fantastic. I always get nervous getting my hair done but Sharol took her time and explained everything. After it was done my hair did look more red than I expected. Sharol realized I wasn’t 100% happy with it. She put another toner and it came out perfect. I highly recommend going to this salon.

Kaitlyn did an amazing job with my hair! I went from virgin black hair to the fantasy bright pink color of my dreams! I feel like a mermaid :) she also taught me how to care for my new colored hair and hair extensions (which she also did a great job with!). Will be coming back for sure!!

I was visiting Houston from the UK and walked in for a Shellac manicure, they managed to fit me in with Tracey who was fantastic! I was so pleased I went there, my nails look perfect and she was so meticulous. If I come back to Houston I would definitely get Tracey to do my nails again.

I got a full head of blonde highlights done with Adriana Magdaleno. I’ve been getting highlights for 20+ years. She did a great job and gave me the EXACT shade of blonde I asked for. This is a rarity ; ) I’m very happy with the results and I’ll definitely come back to see her.

I had my eyebrows microbladed and bayalage for my hair with Astrid. I'm incredibly picky, but i was incredibly pleased and impressed. Their Instagram is very accurate; everything that leaves this salon is 100% high quality.

I really WANT to love this place but I got put on hold for almost 5 minutes to make a reservation and then found out I have to wait 6 days (!) to get a haircut. ... 6 days.... there just are so many wonderful salons around.
