"Worst place ever, terrible pizza Dirty glasses on the table with lipstick marks"
"I do really want to take my time to write the worst review I can for this place"
"We had lunch at la Pizzica with a party of 12 after the christening ceremony of our son on a Saturday afternoon in October"
"One of the worst experiences I ever had in this restaurant- I went to dine in today around 9pm and the restaurant was totally empty"
"Going out can be tricky at times as my fiance has a dairy allergy however as soon as we mentioned it the chef came to the table to discuss what would be suitable and what could be adapted which was a promising start"
Worst place ever, terrible pizza Dirty glasses on the table with lipstick marks. entering the pizzeria, a waitress approached me arrogantly, I asked for a table for one person, after which she pointed to empty tables and said that I can choose a table. I chose a comfortable table for myself, the pizzeria was half empty, and I understand why…, However, after 2 minutes, another waiter came up and asked if I would be the only one ordering, Then, in a pointed tone, he said that I should move to a smaller table, And when I said that I would like to stay at this table, since there are no people in the restaurant anyway, he said Ok,and with attitude took my order, the order was taken incorrectly, I ordered pizza, bufula and a glass of white wine. First he did bring the wine in the water glass with lipstick marks, when I asked if I can have a glass for wine,he said that in the restaurant they give the wine from king glasses only,,honestly I got a chocked….,wanted to live but was so starving,so I decided just wait for my Pizza and bufula,, In 10 min i got pizza if it can be called Pizzanot cooked well but under just burnt, bufula never arrived I tried eat one slice,,,.but no.Than I asked for the bill, the waiter saw that I haven’t even eat the pizza, but still didn’t ask if food was ok,or no,how usually restaurants who take service charge should Follow etiquette, also they put bufula on the bill. Than I just asked her remove Additional service charge, £1.75 and just wanted to live the place soon as possible.don’t think kind places should get No penny for service charge. Even there she did not stop Surprise meshe asked me in a rude way,why I don’t want pay the service charge When I said the Reason she just turned on and left didn’t want even give me a receipt for a bill I paid and food never eat. Most Terrible Place
I do really want to take my time to write the worst review I can for this place. I booked for a new year eve dinner for 2 people and one child. Let’s start with the number of tables that were over the max number that the room can contain. As consequence it was so loud that it wasn’t possible to talk on the same table. Now the menu. 2 fixed menus (and we didn’t know in advance that was a fixed menu). One lets called it normal and one for vegetarians. I took the vegetarians. On the menu they wrote 3 different starters as 3 different items. To save on the quantity they practically brought those things on a small plate with: a 2x2cm piece of aubergine, a sub-millimetres cut zucchini and some other 1x1cm vegetables. Entree: 2 pieces of 2x1cm fried pizza dough serve on a cup a bit larger than an espresso cup. Pasta: literally 3 ravioli with butter. (This is not a gourmet restaurant but a family run restaurant). Second plate: few pieces of vegetables and half aubergine stuffed with white rice. Then they wrote on the menu: lentils and panettone (which I guess are the unsold items to remove before expiration date from the deli they also have). I hate both of them and left both. How can you serve lentils? They said: tradition (which I don’t care). Price: £200 of which £21 service charge. (basically the customers paid the waitresses salary for the day). I’ve never complained in my life for a price paid on a restaurant, even the rubbish ones. We left as soon as we could and before the midnight. Here the problem is that they wanted just to rip you off and that’s it. They wanted to just get as much money as possible offering the less amount they could. (Welcome to the modern age). I should write a negative review about the quality not the quantity. I felt robbed. Never again I will put a foot in this place. PS in the attached photos £200 pounds worth of food.
We had lunch at la Pizzica with a party of 12 after the christening ceremony of our son on a Saturday afternoon in October. Gianluca and his team are fabulous hosts, gentle and courteous, very attentive and managing their cosy restaurant with elegance and class. The presentation and quality of the food is simply fantastic: the "tagliere di salumi" with focaccia and bowls of fresh salad, delicious and light "calamari fritti", the wonderful spaghetti San Carlo prepared directly for everybody at a side table, the signature octopus dish and a tender and juicy piece of lamb to crown the main courses. All in all, an unforgettable afternoon hosted by Gianluca and his team that we and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed. It didn't feel like being in Fulham that day, but more like somewhere in Puglia... Complimenti and 5 well deserved stars!
One of the worst experiences I ever had in this restaurant- I went to dine in today around 9pm and the restaurant was totally empty. I went and sit down while I was waiting for someone to serve me or bring me the menu. After a minute I was approached by the manager and he tried to give me a lecture on how I should have waited for him to tell me where to seat(the restaurant was empty) and that he was giving me some educational advise and I was asked by the same person if I ever been to a restaurant to eat before . At time point I was so shocked, disappointed and disgusted by the comments the manager made that I stood up and left this restaurant and I have promise myself that I won’t go or pass again .Very bad customer service and no manner to speak to customers. Disgusting !

Going out can be tricky at times as my fiance has a dairy allergy however as soon as we mentioned it the chef came to the table to discuss what would be suitable and what could be adapted which was a promising start. Hereafter the experience just got better, the wine was excellent and the food was exquisite, I could well have been in a Michelin star restaurant on the Italian coast. Dishes you must try here if available when you visit are the tuna tartare and the octopus although you really cant go wrong with anything on the menu as it is all so fresh and authentic. We will be returning shortly!
We came to this place for dinner after an event at Fulham Palace - what a delight! Our waitress Alex was full of recommendations, and made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped in. The fragola was delicious, and so was the special (wild boar pasta). Desserts were exquisite (proper gelato ice cream and chocolate mousse to die for). At under £30 per person (exc. drinks) for amazing Italian dishes/desserts, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Finally a typical Apulian restaurant in London. I'm from the region and can confirm that the dishes I tried are very well representative of our cuisine at honest prices for London. It is a very nice and familiar place, service is informal and pleasant. Ps. I was told you can watch Serie A matches of Lecce football team there as well which is a great plus! Will be back soon!

This is our go to local Italian place. Authentic food from Puglia. Great specials in addition to an authentic standard menu. And the wine selection isn't too shabby either. Highly recommended.

Arrived for lunch just on opening, welcomed and offered water until they were officially opened. Had fettuccine with seafood which was delicious followed by a beautifully simple panna cotta. Good bottle of wine to accompany. Family restaurant serving very good and authentic food. Recommend highly. Not cheap but worth the price.

One of the best Apulian restaurant in London. Excellent food and impeccable service. We celebrated an event with set menu and Gianluca and Alex made sure everything went well from the beginning until the end. We had a vegan, a vegetarian, and not beef eaters- they made sure food wasn't contaminated and the right food arrived to the right people. Can't recommend enough!

In general was all good. No major complaints. The staff was friendly and the food tasted nice. The only negative note, the meatballs were a bit on the cold side and the pork rolls were supposed to come with potatoes but apparently they were finished ( weird as there were only 3 tables sitting at 8pm) and we were not told. It came with salad instead. Cime di rapa and broad beans was extremely salty. On the other side the focaccia was delicious
Excellent in every way. Superb food - way beyond the staples of a standard Italian (the trumpet mushrooms were absolutely phenomenal). Friendly and prompt service. Dog and child friendly, but without that detracting from the atmosphere of just a great local restaurant. One to recommend to your friends, but only those you really like...!

Excellent culinary experience. Great Italian restoration, with proper comfort food and genuine quality ingredients cooked like you'd get it cooked in Italy. The service was also very attentive to our needs and gave us millefogli on the house as a treat. Would recommend to a friend.

Local and family friendly trattoria with a nice atmosphere and some amazing local dishes. Definitely a few gems in the menu. Update after a few months: unfortunately it looks like the place has taken a downward trajectory. Must be inflation, Brexit, etc. But the last two times spaghetti were smaller, burrata was hard, pasta served a bit cold and the size of all portions has gotten smaller. Too bad.
Pros: they made me a wonderful bruschetta even when it wasn't on menu Cons: everything else. Pasta so Al dente it might as well have not been cooked. Pizza rock hard, salty yet tasteless. Restaurant super loud. Waiters kind of rude (they kept tapping our table everytime they went past.) Also very slow. Over 90 mins for starter and main course. Really didn't enjoy. Would definitely not recommend.
Wow. We had just flown in from Australia to reunite with our daughter after a few months. The night could not have been more perfect. Apart from the food being authentic and sublime, the service was stunning. It will be a night to remember. Lucky we booked as the place was packed!! Clearly a favourite with the locals.

The waiter poured our wine everywhere, and he just walked off, no care and skill. Food is average, hard and salty pizza, definitely not worth. It was first time I was disappointed in Italian food and service. Not recommended this incompetent restaurant.

Good local restaurant serving dishes from the Puglia regional tradition with various forays in other parts of Italy. The pizza is good despite not being cooked in a wood oven, as are most of the other dishes I tried. Good service, decent atmosphere, I would just like a bit more quality in the right choice.
A lovely little Italian in Fulham. Very friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. The pizzas are generously topped making it great value. Can also recommend the arancini

Had lunch on their new Via del Mar, outdoor terrace. The food was delicious and the selection of Italian soft drinks was great, if you don't want an alcoholic drink. I had the Pizza Capricciosa and the Ginger Rosso. I would definitely recommend them.
Gianluca and his team are running the best Italian in Fulham. Been coming here for years- and £15 corkage if you want to pack a special bottle. Highly recommend the carbonara pizza- Love it here

A corner of Puglia in London. Delicious food, good wines and professional service. I recommend smoked burrata, orecchiette with broccoli rabe, paccheri with prawns, mussles and gnocchi with a nutella heart and warm custard. Soooo good!!!
This is a straight 10/10 restaurant. The food was both quality and quantity, the atmosphere was quaint and comfortable, and the service was impeccable. I would definitely recommend.

I love this place! They are pretty famous for standup comedy nights featuring Italian comedian. But the food is also great! I had the “risotto cacio e pepe” (cheese and black pepper) and it was delicious

A wonderful Italian restaurant. A very comfortable and relaxed venue, the team were very courteous and welcoming. Most importantly the food is outstanding. I really enjoyed going here.
I have been there with my family and my parents in law for San Martino event. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Also the meat was 5 star.
Delicious pizza, crust has a fantastic flavour. Save room for the tiramisu! Very friendly service and family friendly. Kid's pizza is only slightly smaller than a normal one!
Very friendly waiter, he was so amazing helped the kids to pronounce thier meals in Italian. Amazing food and wine selection. Just wish they open for lunch during the week.
