Our recent walking tour with Ashton was outstanding! We toured the French Quarter and the Garden District. Ashton has a laid back style, but is super knowledgeable about every aspect of NOLA. He has detailed knowledge of history, architecture and culture. He covered a lot of ground without us being overwhelmed or exhausted. He tailored our tour to our interests and time available. It was a delightful and very interesting afternoon. We highly recommend him and his services. We were so impressed that we told our hotel concierge about him. Ashton is a wonderful tour guide - extremely knowledgeable of the city and Louisiana history. We were a group of 10 and did a private walking tour of the Garden District. Ashton does a great job explaining New Orleans history and speaking about architectural details. He also has great recommendations if you're looking for any places to go. Tours aren't just for visitors - they're are also great for locals! I'm sure I would have liked New Orleans a lot. But with Ashton as a guide, I immediately grew to love it. They city's magic is magnified by 100 with Ashton sharing his passion for and knowledge of its history, heritage, restaurant and music-scene. So much so that by the end of your tour, you somehow believe that perhaps a great-great-grand parent must have been born in this city you now can't help but want to call home. I love doing tours when visiting new cities, but sometimes it feels like guides just memorize spiel and a few factoids. That was no the case with La Vie Orleans. From every aspect of the tour to just chatting with Ashton, it's clear that he lives and breathes New Orleans. My mom had recommended because she had a great time with the Historic Pub Crawl Tour, and my wife and I did the driving Plantation Tour.

This tour is like none other. As a frequent visitor to New Orleans, it is hard to find tours that are not a cookie cutter person talking about something that you can read in a guidebook. Benjamin has true knowledge about a city that is rich in story and history. He is 100% local and this tour is magic. You will end feeling well educated and wanting to do it again.

Benjamin and his wife run a first class operation from start to finish. My family did a private gator air boat tour. From booking to completion this tour was very professional and enjoyable.
