Buyer beware: tried to significantly upcharge me for ring repair. I’ve had a ring for about 2 years now that had a loose center stone. I took it in and they looked at it in the back and let me know that it would be between $400-500 to repair because they had to make entirely new prongs to house the stone. I decided to get a second opinion at my hometown jeweler and the ring did not need new prongs - they just needed to be tightened. They did it for free and let me know that they would’ve charged me $80-100 to create new prongs if needed, not $400-500. The people I spoke with here were very nice, but I would suggest a second opinion before having your jewelry repaired here.

UPDATE: BAD JEWELRY! Fo not purchase from this store. Go somewhere else!!! I have gold jewelry and a bracelet has never slowly fell a part the way this one did! They keep no records… it’s giving imposters. 4 months later and the jewelry that’s suppose to be real gold is breaking and falling apart! I take it into the store and the customer service was very rude and unprofessional. I have to say I WILL NO LONGER PURCHASE JEWELRY FROM THIS STORE! I’m so disappointed! The customer service here is amazing! I have found my new jewelry store that I will get all of my future pieces from. And anything that is not in the store they can order and customize in one location!

I definitely recommend this place! The stone in my wedding band fell out and I needed to fix it. My wedding band is a comfort fit so it needs a little extra effort to secure the stone in it. The people at LaRo's were very attentive, gave me great solutions and did an amazing job on my ring. It looks better than it originally did! I recommend you to have some pictures as an example to avoid misunderstandings. Spend some time to really explain well what you exactly want and once they know it, be sure that they'll do a great job.

I had a few pieces of jewelry which needed repair. LaRo did an excellent job! One was a herringbone necklace which was broken. LaRo repaired it, educated me on its care and fragility, and shined it beautifully. It looks like new! They also went above and beyond by replacing a too small clasp which I had just mentioned in passing. Everyone is very polite, friendly, and knowledgeable, and make you feel like a special customer. They will be my "go to" for all future repairs. I highly recommend them!

I brought a coin I had from the shipwreck of the Spanish galleon, El Cazador that sunk off the coast of Louisiana in 1784. It was set in a bracelet that broke and decided that I would like it to be able to wear it on a necklace. I also had some loose rubies and diamonds. LaRo Jewelers were able to create a beautiful pendant to hang on a necklace. The craftsmanship and expertise created this beautiful piece. I am over the moon! It looks so special. And I can also wear it with a silver necklace!

We have had two items repaired at Laro Jewelers and they did a terrific job! One of the items was a ring that my wife’s late grandfather gave her. The engraving was scratched. I was referred to LaRo by a good friend and was very pleased with my experience! I was taking a family ring to be sized and Douglas was extremely warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in. Going into a jewelry store can be intimidating and not always the most friendly, but Douglas really impressed me and made me feel like family.

I need some maintenance done on my engagement ring, and it turned out beautifully. I couldn’t be happier with the finished product. It was affordable, the work was impeccable, and it was completed in a timely manner (even finished it a day early). I highly recommend going here for any cleaning and/or repair work.

This was the most amazing jewelry repair experience I have ever had three bracelets were done ahead of schedule one was refurbished. It’s at least 30 years old Warren every day by my lake mother and it looks like it just came out of the jewelry box. I cannot recommend this place more highly.

I took a diamond from a necklace my dad gave to my mother on their 50th wedding anniversary and had LaRo jewelers make this ring for my right hand. I think they did a beautiful job. They were a big help in designing the ring and how to best position the diamond.
