Mr Alastair Joseph assisted us - in getting the injured squirrel out of the road .. in my eyes an act of heroism - to leave one's post to help to minimize the suffering of a helpless creature!

Much respect for our fire fighters . Lakeside Fire Staion has open days for the public where you can see all different fire fighting vehicles and equipment . How fire fighting equipment and techniques has evolved. Well worth a visit on an open day or just pop in for a THANK YOU to the everyday heroes.

Great service! Got my finger stuck in a bar stool and drove down to the fire station, took awhile but was so relieved the chair actually came off.

Spoke to Olivia, who assisted me so quickly. I was calling for an ambulance for my carpenters wife and Olivia updated the ambulance in 2 minutes .

Our 8 year olds from school enjoyed their prearranged tour including a ride in their fire truck.
