Lappert's is known in the Hawaiian Islands and has several flavors. However, the macadamia nuts are not grown in Hawaii. It is good ice cream and when I have family/friends visiting downtown Las.Vegas I try to get an ice cream. Lappert's also has shave ice, coffee, tea, a small selection of pastries, cookies, snack bags of popcorn, water, soda, tropical canned drinks like guava, etc. Sometimes they have a little anpan and sushi. It's a nice, small place on the Mezzanine in the California Hotel. There are maybe six stools inside or a couple of benches just outside. The employees are very nice.

Fantastic Ice Cream shop that opens early and closes late all year round allowing you to fulfill your cravings for amazing ice cream anytime of the day. Reasonable prices for absolutely massive amounts of ice cream that was hard to eat for just one person. You could easily share a single scoop waffle cone with 2 people. I got the sea salt caramel and it was absolutely delicious. Fresh caramel running and oozing with every bite and the hint of sea salt to accentuate the sweetness and contrast to the slight hint of dark smoky bitterness from the caramel.

I swear, if this shop were inside Wynn or Palazzo, y'all would have to wait online like Black Friday shoppers at WalMart!! However, they are located inside the Callfornia motel, aptly decorated and with the vibe of Aloha. The ice cream is super fresh, delicious and has the island flavors going on. I could live on cones alone for a good month or two and this would be at the top of the rotation for sure.

I expect better from Lapperts. Staying at the hotel so I tried it for breakfast. Minus one star for the espresso that the counter person told to stir myself as all the mocha part was on the bottom of the cup and my first sip was solid espresso with no sugar or anything. Minus a second star for claiming you serve OJ but it’s only orange sugar water and a tiny bit of juice. Very disappointing.

Nice spot for a cool treat on a hot day. A classic Hawaiian spot, only a few locations left in the islands. Try the Kauai Pie (chocolate ribbon with chocolate covered macadamia nuts) or the macadamia nut ice cream. Or both! They also have Kona Coffee and Hana Road (similar to Rocky Road but with a Hawaiian twist) along with the classic vanilla, strawberry, mint chip, and more!

Very good ice cream and lots of ice cream in each serving. The price is very reasonable, and those behind the counter are friendly and helpful. The shop is located on the second floor of the California Hotel and Casino in downtown Las Vegas. It could be a bit difficult to find, but worth the hunt if you like good ice cream for a reasonable price.

After gambling downstairs at the California Hotel, I decided to take a break, go upstairs, and sample ice cream at Lappert's Ice Cream Shop. After sampling the Coconut Ice Cream with Pineapple Chunks, I decided to get a single scoop of it. The portion size was much larger than expected. It was smooth, rich, creamy, and quite refreshing.

Always a fun experience ordering at the ice cream counter. No matter what age you are as you roll up to the ice cream and you see everything laid out and you start thinking in your mind which one you're going to select it just takes you back to childhood Lambert's ice cream in the Cal is like that

Located in the Cal hotel and casino on mezzanine floor. Ice cream is excellent just like at home in Hawaii. It's really only available in tourist spots in Hawaii so don't have it very often, but had it daily whilst staying here at the Cal.

The ice cream was very good. Everything else kinda meh. Malts on the menu board, ordered malt told they dont serve malts... got a cone instead, cone not packed well ice cream rested on empty cone. Great product poor delivery.

I've tried a lot of different ice cream shops in Vegas and Lapperts is by far my favorite. It's the macadamia nuts in the ice cream that tips it over the edge for me. Coffee, chocolate, coconut and the nuts... paradise.

This is a great place to grab some quick ice cream, coffee or donuts inside the California Hotel in Las Vegas. Located across from Aloha Specialties Hawaiian food on the top floor on the bridge to Main Street Staion.

Quantity, flavor and texture are excellent. Wide variety. Also, sell musubi, sushi, potato chips, cookies, donuts, coffee, shaved ice (summer time), popcorn. Good for late night snacks. Coupon redemption available.

Little harder to get to since its upstairs but since its pretty much the only ice cream place around here I guess its easier than everyone else. Its a small shop so dont expect 31 flavors. Not bad overall.

excellent spot to spend time alone or talk business. there was fast, efficient, and courteous service. prices were fair for the quality of the food. similar to a place in denver i loved.

My favorite ice cream is the "Hana Road", it's the Hawaiian version of Rocky Road. The only negative thing I have to say is that they close early. Otherwise their Ice Cream is the best.

The ice cream here is so delicious! It's creamy and they have some unique flavors. Great pastries too. We always get their decaf coffee. But they have other drinks too.

Love this place, coffee was phenomenal, and the ice cream was such a treat in the land of prime rib and buffets it's kinda tucked away upstairs, but worth it.

Some of the ice cream had freezer burn or icicles on the top of it which i got in a sample taste unfortunately, ice cream was ok otherwise if i ate around it
