The Lapstone Station is pretty much the stop between the ends of the Blue Mountain area and the rest of Sydney towards Emu Plains and beyond, where trains arriving and departing here via the Blue Mountains line quite punctually, and there's not much going on around here, as it's a quiet area with natural beauty in sight around it. For a station of such a scale, its cleanliness and its facilities are on a satisfactory scale, with a few staffs stationed around here still being helpful to assist in general. It's quite close to a number of tourist attractions, namely the lookout points and hiking trails in the Blue Mountains area, and it's quite a good stop to have a bit of a chill time around here.

Nice quiet station with amenities and good accessibility. For TRAINSPOTTERS: Yes, this is a nice station, but lighting especially on a sunny day can be a hit or a miss because of shadows from trees. Judging by other photos, cloudy overcast days seen to be fine, but have a look at the clicks I took on a sunny day. 4 unedited, 4 edited. Hopefully this helps.

The lowest of the Blue Mountains lot but in the right place in the order of things, going up or coming down Lapstone is an individual station with two independent platforms that 'say' "these two platforms, on the outsides of the tracks, are me; dual, ... but one. Please be with me on your journey away, or to, Sydney". In that, I can agree in the fullest.

In the station there are not many people and if you want to go you have to take a Intercity or if you live in Western Sydney like Parramatta, westmead, Wentworthvile and etc then you can go by car.
