These fabulous, color changing Gateway Arches were first lit up November 18th, 2020. This is a great addition to things you can only see In Vegas. It’s located right by the Strat. Northbound pics are taken from the sidewalk because you would have to jaywalk to the median to get a center shot. Southbound photos are easier to get but still a lot of city objects that get in the way. I would recommend night viewing and not going too far north of the sign because it gets a little sketchy. It’s a beautiful addition to the city of lights and definitely worth an in person visit.

Great photo op! intended to welcome visitors to the city of Las Vegas. The city limits begin at Sahara Avenue, just south of the arches' location. Las Vegas Boulevard south of Sahara rests in unincorporated Clark County. The 80-foot-tall arches were designed by Selbert Perkins Design and installed by YESCO, which operates the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign on the south end of the Strip. Las Vegas is known worldwide as the getaway for the best in entertainment, fun, dining." What better way to invite everyone into historic downtown than by passing through this massive new archway into the heart of a revitalized Las Vegas.
Wow… just WOW… I’m at a loss to explain how amazing this sign is. This monument is stunningly beautiful, and so much better than those “I❤️city” signs that most places are using these days. This vintage sign harkens back to the heydey of old Vegas with its mid-century aesthetic. This sign looks even better at night when it’s all lit up! Bonus surprise, is the developers thought to add a tasteful selfie platform. Put this on your Vegas bucket list!
If you dont fancy the hour wait at the famous sign, head up the strip and get a picture at this sign with no queue at all. We visited on the way to Brewery Row. You get lots of advise not to walk around this area and that's probably sensible as we has a slightly scary encounter or two so possibly a quick snap and then move on...

A tour I was on to the Hoover Dam made a stop here. It was quite busy, but you can get the same picture even if you don't wait in line. The tour guide was kind enough to inform us there are a total of 15 of these exact signs all over Las Vegas. Watch out for the scammers in the parking lot. They will try to sell you anything. Just keep walking.
I 100% agree with, Amy. I don't understand why a $6.4 million project like this, would be done in place of using that money to help families across Las Vegas. That's the reason for the one star. I'm all for the progress of the city...and still continue to be amazed, as I drive through new streets and see how well the city flows with it all.
I understand that my opinion is just that, yet I feel this could have been completed with less cost and perhaps not done at all. While the endeavors give jobs for a short time period, why not invest in projects that are geared towards the people who actually call Las Vegas NV their home.
Visited this spot after reading somewhere that this might be new insta pic spot similar to what we have in south end but it didn’t look like, maybe in future it may turnout to be a must place but as of now you can skip this spot if you don’t have much time.
I love this sign so much, nothing gets better than Last Vegas, especially in 75 degrees weather with a decent cool breeze. So glad I got to make 2 trips to Vegas this year, and now, I'll see you again in 2019 you wonderful city
This is a really cool sign that isn't too far of a walk from the north end of the strip. You might see some sketchy characters but the sign is beautiful at night and each step you take will completely change your perspective.

The Gateway Arches outside of the Strat are a great sight to see at night. They cross the Las Vegas Strip and are a cool attraction.

It’s ugly! I go by it everyday and rarely see anyone taking pictures. $6.5 Million taxpayer dollars wasted on this eyesore. What a joke…just not a funny one!
This is a beautiful sign! Come take a picture here.

Pretty, but nothing to go out of your way to see. Only worth a visit after dark when the lights turn on
No way to get close to get a good photo. Fun to see

It turns on tonight! It better be worth the traffic nightmare that the construction has caused.
