The original coffee shop part of this laundromat-cafe hybrid is now non-existent, but don't discredit the place because it lost its fancy gimmick. I highly recommend this joint. I've referred many of my friends. The place is extremely clean with an attendant on duty at all times during operating hours. Both the washers and dryers are brand spanking new and do their jobs effectively. Clothes come out of the washer clean and they come out of the dryer completely dry. Prices are comparable to other nearby laundromats. If not, they may be just a dollar or so more per load. Nothing that'll break the bank. In fact, in regards to your wallet, keep this in mind: FREE DRY ON WEDNESDAYS. All day and for every load you wash there. This is a unique feature that I have yet to see anywhere else in the City. You seriously cannot beat that deal! When I do my laundry at a nearby, unnamed 24-hour competitor, I can expect to pay something close to $35 to $40 (there's always that added expense of having to put most of my clothing back into the temperamental dryers to ensure they dry properly -- LAME!) Last time I did my laundry at Laundré, I paid about $13, give or take. Those savings are huge! Plus, they provide you with free powdered laundry soap for each load you wash! The place gets a little crowded on Wednesdays, and there is no available restroom for customers. Nor do they have the other staples that most other laundromats feature: snack vending machines, vending machines for dryer sheets and other similar necessities and televisions for "entertainment". Still, I think it's a fair trade off.
Pros: Very spacious. Amazing dryers that dried everything in their huge $12.50 XXL washers in thirty minutes - and for free. Free detergent - powder. I personally prefer the pods for ease, especially being short and not able to see/read the top of theachines. Their free detergent is light and fresh, which I greatly appreciate. Bathrooms - 2 nice handicap private rooms that are unisex with the sinks and mirrors in the middle but yet outside of them. Lots of carts for use. ## Clean!!! # Credit cards option for payment in addition to coin payment option. Great chill/study/dining area with a couch and two soft, Lazy Boy chairs in addition to the bar sections looking out for people watching opportunities abound. Negatives: Barely any street parking. Only one handicap space. The free Wi-Fi requires one to know their order number, which I didn't bother to check only doing laundry. Yes, I contemplated getting a hot cocoa. Result: I have a new laundromat for my visits back into or through The City.
I love this place on opening day there was a young lady who made my OCD feel at home and comfortable it was clean the floors for spotless she was helpful it was beautiful thing the marriage of doing laundry and going to an environment where OCD was appreciated. I returned a few months later only to find this place over ran with well the neighborhood dirt filthy clothes on the floor loss of hiring practices because it's now filthy on the inside a ferret level of dust hanging over every surface floor scuffed and nasty and too rude new staff members working the area for food and coffee not a friendly environment anymore and quite honestly the neighborhood could do without more of the same if you weren't going to be different why coming to the mission there's enough fuel to go around let's not encourage them to keep it up and to think this is a woman-owned business
OVER PRICED RASIST ESTABLISHMENT! My family has been going here for years and I've seen such a revolving door regarding employees. Today after spending $40 to wash two loads the head attendant walked up to me while i was folding grabbed my fabric sheets and said, "I'm gonna pick these up now because you're making it dirty in here." Also telling me she's not my mom which is completely unprofessional ESPECIALLY because it was not done folding. To make the situation worse I was grabbing the fabric sheets placing them on the seat next to me in a couple had fell there was no opportunity to pick them up she entered my space and pointed me out THE ONLY BLACK WOMEN IN THE PLACE TO TELL ME I WAS MAKING IT DIRTY IN THERE! Then her and the rest of the staff proceeded to stand behind the desk and speak in Spanish while staring at me. Disgusting
I was here on Wednesday july 5 at 8:45pm and the laundry attendant was extremely rude and disrespectful. Right as I walk in he tries to not let me in and tells me they’re going to close. Final wash is at 9pm and I’m clearly here before then. I’ve been here many times and know how long it takes to finish a wash and dry. I ask for soap for my wash and he gives me attitude again. Then, as I’m sitting while I’m waiting for my wash, he aggressively tells me to get out of the way as he tries to mop the floors. Like dude you can just mop around me it’s not a big deal. I’ve been an extremely loyal customer of laundre but this treatment is unacceptable update: Ariana the owner was very kind and heard me out and addressed my concerns!
[Warning: Young adults from Central Florida in for vacation] True to San Fran form, both the coffee shop and the laundromat were HIGHER IN PRICE THAN WHAT I’M USED TO. On the flip side, it’s obvious this is trying hard to distinguish itself from the ‘getting there’ style of Mission Street. The coffee shop half served up a GREAT MACCHIATTO, COLD BREW, AND PASTRIES and also provided PLENTY OF SEATING AND SOCKETS- great for working/studying while waiting for your laundry to finish. Meanwhile, the laundromat included free detergent! My biggest gripe is you can’t see the laundromat from the coffee shop; the laundromat has an open side leading to the street where it’s VERY EASY FOR SOMEONE TO ENTER AND STEAL your stuff.
While visiting sf on pleasurable business I stopped in for some caffeine and a quick wash of my threads. I like to pack lite. This place was as fresh and clean as the clothes you walk out with... I guess it just opened?? Regardless, it really was beautiful inside. You know that subconscious creeping feeling you get whenever you wash clothes at a laundromat?? You don't get that here. All the appliances were brand new... like literally. I'm actually quite sure mine were the first duds this machine had the opportunity to get its suds on. The staff was also very pleasant. Knowledgeable. Kind even. I felt genuinely cared for. Anyways, 10/10 would wash again.
Omg I love this place. Not only is it a great laundromat (they take cards, the machines are huge and there's so many that you can always find an open one) but there's sooo much space for working. Last time I came here, I strictly came here to just work on my laptop. It's handy because there's outlets everywhere if you're sitting along the long desks at the windows. They've got coffee amongst a variety of other types of drinks (including Topo Chico sparkling water!). The most creative (and best) laundromat I've been to and overall a great place to post up and get some work done (with or without your laundry).
Clean and quiet when I went in the middle of the week. There were lots of machines and plenty of laundry carts. I appreciate that there's a free sanitizing cycle you can choose on the washers before loading your clothes. The folding counter was one of the cleanest I've seen; I had no reservations about putting my freshly washed clothes on it. Added bonus — they have free powdered laundry soap at the front counter. The biggest problem I saw was that navigating the layout would be difficult in most wheelchairs, so it's not gonna be a good choice for everyone.
Honestly, this is the most pleasant laundry business experience I've ever had. Great machines that are all new and working. The cafe has nice coffee, tasty food, and plenty of seating. It also has a surprising lack of crazy people, which feels common from my experiences at places like Brainwash. Prices for some services like wash and fold are a little steep compared to other places but I don't think you'll mind doing it yourself when the experience of doing laundry is as nice as this. Highly recommend.
I came in at 6pm on a tuesday and half of the menu for some reason were not available. The place is very clean, this could also be because there's not that many customer. I like the laundry machine because they actually works with a credit card and coins. The main problem here is the parking. It's probably going to bring this entire place, it's due to parking. It's a very good combination and it can work, I just do't think the location is suitable for this business to survive. Goodluck !!
Laundré, sounds fancy. Very clean. Plenty of Good machines. Pay by card only. Free detergent + dryers free on Wednesdays. Quad loader wash machines ~$10. Dryers seem cheaper, but for me it's pricey. I go there because they actually use hot water, unlike many of the laundromats in the neighborhood. There's an attendant, but recently I had to run home for a minute and came back to find that 2 blankets had been stolen from my dryer. My fault. So don't be fooled by the é.
This is the first laundromat I've actually enjoyed being in. I was expecting it to be really expensive, but it's only about 50 cents more than Fiesta Laundry down the block. Totally worth it. They also provide eco-friendly soap -- someone handed me a cup with a scoop and checked that I was figuring out the machine okay. It's attached to the cafe, and yet you could enjoy the cafe without even realizing they had washing machines down the hallway.
Impressive! I never thought I'd say this about a laundromat but it was classy. I would return. I recommend. A backdrop of jazz music and mild city ambiance. Very clean setting with state of the art washer and dryers. You can use your debit card or pay using quarters. It was a relaxing atmosphere. Near by are endless shops and restaurants to pick peruse. A nice one of a kind laundromat. Last wash at 9pm. The attendent was friendly and helpful.
I heard about Laundre through my friend, Peter, who I've known most of my life. I stopped by to check out the place and grab a coffee and it's awesome. It has a high level of design, it's clean, and it has a really nice feel to it. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get their laundry done in a cool spot. Probably a good place to meet people if you don't use dating apps too. Definitely check it out.
Came here looking for a place to hangout between meals and to get some work done. WiFi is spotty but I had work to do that didn't require much internet use so it still worked out for me. They had oat milk as an option and my lavender latte was super yum. This place is mainly a laundromat, which I didn't use but apparently the machines are in decent shape. Great place to people watch as well.
Clean and preferred place bc of cleanliness of environment and machine has a sterilization mode to use prior to washing, however parking horrible and prices have been increased, which I am sure will continue. The Mission neighborhood is changing and a lot of businesses are closing and although I like change; it’s scary and concerning. Nonetheless, The staff is attentive and friendly.
The Café is closed. It is just a laundromat now. This is a very painful review for me to give. Literally two days ago, this was my favorite laundromat AND cafe in the Mission. But now it's just a laundromat without WiFi that still doesn't allow outside food or beverages I'd like to commend the owners and operators for everything this place once was.
Great concept! An excellent laundromat, with new machines and fast dryers that take credit cards or quarters, plus good food and fast WiFi. All the staff I’ve dealt with were perfect, like totally into it and happy to inform or solve. Wednesday has a bonus feature unlocked. Sometimes busy during predictable peaks; see above the reviews for traffic meter
This place is amazing! I came here after my car got broken into in the mission and my bag of clothes inside had gotten dirtied in the process. I was able to wash everything in one load (the machines are huge) and the dryer only took 25 minutes. The space is super clean, stunning, and smells nice. Also, the staff are all super attractive.
Do your yourself (& your clothes) a favor and go to Laundre! It's effortlessly chic, simple, and beautiful - not to mention the wash experience makes doing laundry actually enjoyable! Enjoy some sightglass coffee and a delicious healthy snack while you wait for the sustainable machines to run their course. Laundre is simply fabulous!
It is advertised as a modern laundromat with a cute cafe, tables, chairs, pastries, etc. It is ONLY a modern laundromat. All the machines work well, you can pay with credit card, and the side is clean. But the promise for hangout space went entirely unfulfilled. It either permanently closed, or under construction (??) Who knows.
Great place to do laundry. They offer exo friendly soap for free. Drying is free all day on Wednesdays. The staff are very helpful and there is wash and fold service. I'm coming back here for sure. I didn't get to try the pastry or coffee since I washed late at night. I'll come early next time.
Beautiful, quiet, and spacious with a great staff who have wonderful taste in music. I'm a fan of the tea and definitely recommend this spot for laundry, quiet hangouts, writing, and taking in dope art. Machines are well-priced and have a few different sized machines for different needs.
I was tripping balls on acid with some friends and we decided to go in because it looked cute. We got a spritzer and talked out all of our life problems as we were crying and the entire cafe was melting and morphing around us. This place will always have a special place in my heart.
overall, this is my favorite place to do laundry. I get to open up my laptop while I wait and enjoy a chill coffee shop chill vibe. you do pay higher for everything for it but at least you don’t feel miserable when you leave. The lavender latte is the best latte in California
Best laundry experience of my life. I just accidentally happened upon this place, and it's so clean and bright and inviting. The staff (and other customers) are super friendly and helpful. And bonus - on Wednesdays there is free coffee and free drying! Laundré made my day :)
When i first discover this place i fell in love with it already. Staffs is so nice and friendly. This place to wash clothes is so convenient and cozy. I love it's cleanliness and atmosphere. I'll surely comeback and recommend it to all the people that i know. …
Regular customer for a couple of years but was wondering what’s up with all the broken dryers? A few of them have been down for months. Not a good look. Please help. I come early so it doesn’t really affect me but it must be all bad when busy. Do better . Thanks
First time at Launde last night I had a great experience. Very resourceful place; you get to dine, relax in the couch chairs and seating area while you are laundering. This location has restrooms. Some laundromats do not have them. Definitely coming back again!
This place is incredible. I would spend time here even if I never needed to wash another load of laundry in my life. Fantastic food, beautiful and airy space, comfortable seating, and fast WiFi -- oh, right, and the laundry facilities are top of the line.
Super clean, nice machines. Great snacks, drinks and music. Overall very calm, relaxing atmosphere while you do laundry. Worth the extra dollar or 2$ per load for sure. Only suggestion would be for more outlets to plug in to while you're washing .
Not only is there an attached coffee shop where you can chill while waiting for your wash, BUT the machines also take credit card, so now you don't have to carry a thousand quarters around in your pocket like an idiot. My new go-to laundry spot
Regular Customer here. I really like the washers but the dryers need to be fully cleaned asap. Last night after the dryer finished his cycle, I opened the door and could smell Garlic from the Dryer. There was actually a slice of Garlic from
Chile i pull up and the police is three cars deep and its clothes all scattered on the ground in front a whole homeless community. Total mess i turned around and opted for a better option never coming back what a shame hopefull but not ever.
This has always been my go to laundry mat, but the staff here is very rude. Today, the servers were down and the person assisting with money exchange was so ignorant and had a nasty attitude. I literally asked him a question and he walked
Coffee shop / workspace is now closed. Sucks having driven almost 30 min just to come to this spot for that benefit. Wash costs $6.50+ per machine. Space is clean and quiet, but no tables to work from which is what I was hoping for.
Pros: new machines operable by credit card that wash clothes well. Cons: poor parking, limited hours, for a cafe very limited menu, laundromat part is inadequate and crowded, coffee shop part looks like an office. Not very friendly.
My brother and I traveled here from Arkansas to stay for a month, and this place was where we did our laundry. It has a chill coffee shop attached, and the staff is interesting and very welcoming. Highly recommend this place …
I absolutely love this place. Probably the most reasonable easy and clean laundromat I have ever been to. Thank you May for having so much compassion! I was really having a hard day and you definitely put a huge smile on my face!
The customer service, the quality of the equipment and the cleanliness of the facility are the reasons I frequent this fine establishment. They also provide powder detergent. Parking can be challenging at either location.
It's in a slow decline sadly. Maintenance wood be at the top of the list. It's a great space and the staff are generally friendly but management is asleep. Definitely the best washing machines in my neighborhood .
It's a smart choice. Universal! You have choices between the old school quarter issue or the new school using qr codes to start and stop the washer and dryer in an app with alerts. Wow lundre
A super hipster spot for washing clothes on mission...weird. It's definitely not a Brainwash like on Folsom downtown where you feel at home. Feels completely out of place in the hood.
Laundre is the absolute best. The vibe is relaxing, the coffee is delicious, the wash experience is straightforward, and the owner Ari is great. This has become my new spot …
Place is super chill perfect combination of cleaning and siting down to eat a bit, highly recommend the Chia Seed Pudding the people are really nice and professional as well
Laundromat of the future! Seriously, the machines look space-age and take credit cards. There is staff on site and they're always friendly and helpful.
Pros....Besutifully designed, very clean, great cafe and the machines are fantastic. Cons.... no parking, very expensive and the wifi wasn't working.
The whitest Laundromat that I have seen everCome here to enjoy aroma coffee, great atmosphere and get Free soap for your clothes ☕️ …
I never thought doing your laundry could be this enjoyable of an experience. Amazing space, super friendly staff... I'll definitely be back!
You will realize what you have been missing once you do laundry here! So clean and bright and welcoming with amazing coffee ten steps away!
Great coffee (Sightglass) and a beautiful laundromat (Electrolux). This place has a fantastic view with lots of windows and natural light.
During covid, can you please set up a policy where people need to wait outside the laundromat and only go inside to change their clothes?
Darlene was super nice and helpful in helping me pay/ start up the washing machines and setting up with the dryers on such a busy day!
Great laundry machines that are efficient and clean. It's more expensive than other places but it's worth it. Free laundry detergent!
Been going here for years and the staff is so helpful and friendly. Fidel is amazing and always so pleasant. Such a neighborhood gem
Very nice Laundry Matt, and is my go-to in the City! About $6/1-3lb load. Last wash is 9pm, and hours are 5am-11pm - Mon-Sat.
One of the nicest laundromats that I've been to in San Francisco very clean great customer service someone always here
Beaut new spot in mission! Huge! Great space to grab coffee, wash your things and excited to see how the space evolves
Very clean, they provide soap that's very good for free. In and out and have a coffee while your clothes are washing.
Met the owner here and congratulated her on her excellent job in creating a cyber cafe laundry. Clean and well run.
WiFi was fast but I dryed my bedding on high for two hours still wet great waste of money hope the owner reads this
Good clean Laundromat. The cafe, however, is ok ajd serves it's coffee warm (I specifically asked for extra hot).
Didn't try the laundry, but the coffee was great. Huge open space, lots of light, clean design and good music!
Lo recomiendo todo muy limpio las lavadoras y secadoras trabajan muy bien y puedes pagar con tarjeta también..
Seems like it's a little bit more expensive than other laundromats that it's clean and the machines work well
Lots of different sized washers and I’ve never seen dryers so large before. Definitely will be back!
I like the cafe for the fact that it’s spacious, quiet and a great place to get some work done.
Best laundry experience I never had! The coffee shop is really good and staff awesome. Thanks!
Its a great laundry mat and very complex workers thanks darling for your proffesional help ..
Great place to get a laundry done, good atmosphere, it makes an unpleasant core doable.
Excellent cappuccino but lousy service from the cashier / barista at night.
Atmosphere is lacking and drinks are terribly overpriced for what you get.
Best place in the mission for Wifi, seating, and accepts credit cards.
R.I.P. LAUNDRÉ.. IT WAS GOOD while it lasted...sorry for your closure
Clean, lots of machines available when I went on Monday around noon.
I love this place! Best environment for laundry and they take cards
Amazing place to sit and get some work done. Also has great vibes
Great place for a quick bite, coffee, and getting some work done.
SUCH A COOL PLACE, good coffee, nice staff, original concept!
Coffee shop closed during pandemic. Good machines.
