THIS PLACE IS a COMFORT PLACE, personally. (Other Venue) It was after being extremely disappointed and frustrated at the maintenance at a place nearer to my home, List of disappointments included even losing money due to a machine door malfunction. Simply put, the general unimpressiveness of the machines quality or condition or venue cleaning turned me off from taking advantage of the place's convenience ever again. Won't mention the name here yet as the business is supposedly quite new. "LAVA BAY" 1. I was still left with a mountain of clothes needing a dry or even a new wash. I drove a little out of my way to come right back here. As usual, greatly satisfied. Price is clear and reasonable ($ guide included in photos). All machines are always in proepr condition, reliable and quite sturdy. Haven't used it persoanlly, but washing machine exclusively for pet clothing and accessories also considerately available. Good structure and organisation or area and machinery, which allows you to sort and fold your clothes after machine work, to be done in a efficient, wide space. 2. The bench and table makes it a comfortable place to read or do some work while waiting. 3. I brought my own detergent today, but upon my neglect the last time, I took the occasion to made good use of the vending machine's carriage of "Surf" detergent. 4. The doors are usually always open, so the stuffiness and temperature rise of the room from dryer usage - not yet experienced by me, at least. 24 hour access makes it to come quite late in the hour and complete your loads with no other interference and also catch a good hour of peace for yourself. Finally, as they warn you extensively here on every machine, "Do not exceed washing washing powder dosage. This will cause excess foaming! (Haven't seen it yet and hope I never do ).

Loving the triple load washers and jumbo dryers. I used to spend hours washing and drying. With this service 1hr max all done! Love it ❤️❤️❤️ and clothes come out wrinkle free for us. Now I can happily just set aside 1 hr to shop and dine at West Ryde while the laundry gets going. Love the jumbo laundry bags from Lava Bay as well. Saw the owner cleaning the machines, vacuuming and mopping the premise even on a Sunday morning. 5***** service and cleanliness. Highly recommend!

Good clean laundromat with new machines, card payment, affordable prices, and open 24 hours. There are three different sizes of washers and two sizes of dryers. There's also a pet friendly washer exclusively for pets clothing and accessories. You need to bring laundry powder, but they also have small packs of them on the vending machine. As it's open 24 hours, late nights or early mornings could be ideal times (I haven't come at other times though).

I'm tired of laundromats that don't let you choose how long you want to dry your clothes. I even used the jumbo dryer in hopes it would fully dry. But nope, so instead of drying for 40 minutes like I'd like to, I had to dry for an entire hour, so my clothes are crispy dry, and I pay twice as much as I'd have liked. Just please give people the option to choose their dryer time, is it really that hard to program?

Why I love doing my Laundry at Lava Bay. Set the timer on your phone. Do the shopping and pick up your washing. No sweat, no stress. I do my wash get a coffee study my phone. Move to the dryer. Then pick up my essentials bring the shopping and the trolley back to the laundromat.fold my clothes and use the trolley to transport it all to my car, parked safely down in the car park

Came here to wash my doona which didn’t fit in our washing machine at home. It’s very clean, and I love that it is open 24/7. There is a vending machine inside with drinks, snacks, and also detergent which is super ideal. I would definitely recommend this place, the owners were extremely kind and helpful. Conveniently located in the marketplace, this laundromat has fantastic machines in different sizes and easy to use. The shop itself was so clean and so were the machines. Parking was easy and stress free. It's open 24hrs which is so great and means I can pop in before or after work! Will definitely be back again.

Opening of the new premise was perfectly timed with the breakdown of my washing machine. This being the first time I’ve used a laundromat, I was left impressed with the ease of use and quality of machines. Great location too, I put on a couple of loads and left to do some grocery shopping at nearby supermarkets.

This was my first time visiting this laundromat and I have to say the owners Zac and Rema were such helpful and kind people. There are plenty of washing machines and dryers which are accessible 24 hours. This is by far the best in business and I would highly recommend this location to anyone.

Big shout out to Lava Bay Laundromat in West Ryde. I am not associated in any way but was ever impressed with the great Customer Service skills the owner has! On a plus its right near the shops so you can load your laundry and do a quick shop and come back...one happy customer :)

So happy that the machines are so clean and dryers lint free. Came in this morning and saw the owner cleaning the machines and vacuuming the area. Owner is very helpful and super polite. Location is superb and you can get a bit of shopping done while waiting.

Very good experience. 31 minute wash for a single load and tap’n go was very convenient. Plenty of shops to go while waiting for wash to be done. Was easy to find an empty machine even on sunday at 3pm.

The place is conveniently located. Good machines. the owner cleans the lint, floors and keeps the place clean. Talks nicely to customers and is positive to feedback. I'm a regular customer now

Always super clean! Can get busy and hard to get a park, but normally most people wait with their washing so you can get through quickly. Owner is lovely!

Best laundry experience, don't forget to bring your own detergent, etc. Best time is late night IMO. Dryers work the best.
