I decided to treat myself on my birthday to a nice spa day. This place had been super hyped on social media so was super excited to try it out. Experience was pretty standard and nothing to rave about. I felt like it was super overrated for the price that you pay (I spent about $300+ just for a massage with some added treatments). The facilities were clean but there weren’t any exciting amenities except a steam shower. I had read online that we could access the pool, hot tub and gym when booking a spa treatment but when I inquired about that to the receptionist she gave me a confused look. My massage therapist was very nice but the massage was pretty standard. Not worth the $300 price tag. Lastly, I wasn’t informed that all spa services will include a “service charge” which isn’t considered tip. When I asked about this the reception told me that a portion of it goes to the spa and a portion of it goes to my massage therapist. That really irked me. Honestly if I had known that on top of my spa service and tip that I’d have to pay an additional service fee - I probably would’ve opted for another spot. I had wished at the time of booking that someone would’ve mentioned it. Seems like a pretty dishonest business practice especially when these spas are already charging a premium for their services.

As you walk in you are met with a calm aroma and a relaxing ambiance. Staff is welcoming and explain the entire process from the moment you register at the front desk. After you complete a simple health form your session begins, no wait time. They do ask how strong of a massage you wish to have, we both got the "medium" strength. Rooms are private, comfortable beds, appropriately lit with soothing music and again the calming aroma. Our message therapist were amazing! I do apologize, their names escapes me but they were both great. They were professional and and worked out all the problem spots with great care. After our session, we were given nice and soft robes and taken to the recovery rooms where you put your clothes in a secure locker while you enjoy the steam room & showers. There were was some trail mix, ice cold water and a tasty mango flavored hot tea to enjoy in the lounge area of the recovery room. All in all we had a relaxing & memorable time and I would highly recommend a session as we will be back for another.

over $400 for a 50 min couple’s massage with absolutely no extras added to the massage. didn’t give me a heads up on the price when I booked over the phone and also didn’t give me a heads up of the mandatory tipping which was a pretty big percentage. not to mention , I went in with pain only in my right shoulder blade and then left afterwards with pains in basically my whole upper back as well as my neck. masseuse was polite , love her. her manners are the only reason this isn’t a one star rating. but I definitely felt swindled. I mean it didn’t feel like it was worth the price whatsoever and I feel like I should’ve had the communication of the charges if it was going to be that much. now I’ll have trust issues and much regret , wasn’t a relaxing experience at all :( I just left with my stress and pain tripled

My husband and I booked a couples massage as a last minute Friday night activity and had an amazing experience. Silvia checked us in and took us through a cool seasonal ritual and gave us a tour of the amenities. This place smells wonderful and the dim lights and natural atmosphere made me relax immediately. Marianna was my massage therapist and she was fantastic- listened to what I wanted/needed, and then gave a phenomenal massage focusing on the areas I asked for. I arrived with a headache and left without one. The steam room and shower was also very nice. Definitely save time to chill post treatment, it's a nice place to be and to relax. Just a very well done service from start to finish. Will come back again for sure.

So glad I had an experience here! Walking in to a calming nature themed space set the tone for me to relax and immerse myself. I definitely recommend getting there early so you can take in the relaxing sitting room before your treatment. Mariana was my massage therapist and I liked how she took a couple times to ask if the pressure was a okay because I sometimes feel like I disturb the flow if I speak first. I didn’t take advantage of the sauna so I can’t speak on that. Even their robes were suuuuper comfy and I can’t stop thinking about them! Overall I really enjoyed being able to remove myself from the hotel and feel surrounded and immersed in the spa.

My husband and I did the 50 minute couples massage. The ambience of the spa is exceptional. What fell short for me is I asked for more attention to be given to my feet with the add on exfoliation treatment. I’ve had many massages and never felt the fingernails of the masseuse. It was very distracting. The exfoliation treatment was uneventful and the masseuse didn’t apply any oils or creams to my feet to massage them after exfoliation. The massage was disappointing. The best part of my experience was the chakra ceremony afterwards with my husband, but I think it’s usually done prior to receiving services.

Stayed at the Fairmont for a work conference and had some time to kill before my flight so I booked a massage. The spa is wonderful! Great aesthetic that had me relaxed from the moment I walked in. Very good service at the front desk. I travel often and always get a massage, having 100s of them over the years, this is the first time I am writing a review. My therapist Alex was phenomenal! I told him why I was in town and he knew exactly where to massage using techniques that I have not experienced before. If your in town do yourself a favor and book a massage with Alex, you can thank me later!

I am so impressed by this spa! From the check-in service (Jasmina was the kindest person ever), to the welcome ritual, to the massage therapist, to the treatment, to the decor, to the products, this place is amazing! I had the Serenity Slumber Body Treatment which consisted of a massage, scrub, and scalp massage — it was the perfect rebalancing and realigning treatment. I can’t say enough about how knowledgeable Alex was of the tension in my body. I’ll leave the welcome ritual a surprise but will say that that really started my experience off on the best note.

My sister and I travel from Detroit to come here! Silvia at the front desk is so sweet and facilitates an intention ritual before you begin your service. The facilities are very clean, modern, and relaxing. I especially love the steam room and hot tea selection. Their messages are top tier and always start on time. Dorothy is my masseuse of preference and my sister loves Alex. It’s an overall great experience and I highly recommend Leaf! I cannot say enough good things about this spa.

I had an absolutely fabulous time in the Leaf Spa! The whole ambience is done to make you feel relaxed from the first second you step in. The receptionist Silvia has welcomed my friend and me with the short greeting meditation which put us immediately in the state of calm and tranquility. What a lovely hidden sanctuary! Silvia at the front desk is incredibly sweet and welcoming. I loved the ritual/ceremony and hot tea (couldn't get enough of that tea!). The spa was pretty empty so I was able to enjoy the tranquility of the amenities alone - which included drinking some bubbly before hopping in the steam room and then finishing with the eucalyptus shower. The massage was very relaxing - would recommend the hot stone add-on. Thank you, Leaf Spa!

Fairmont has completely transformed their spa to Leaf Spa and it is truly impeccable!! From the receptionist to the massage therapists, all the workers are very professional and friendly. The look, feel, aesthetics are beautiful - welcoming and also relaxing. I had a deep tissue massage from Alex and he was amazing - great pressure in all the right spots! My shoulders feel so much better. The entire experience was top notch and I look forward to coming back!

My girlfriend and I enjoyed the couples soak and 50 minute massage last weekend. The aesthetic was incredible, the staff were fantastic, and the entire experience was perfectly relaxing. The owner actually referred us to this experience, and he also happens to be an incredibly nice and generous person. From top to bottom, this is a great experience, and I would highly recommend everyone check this place out!

It was a birthday treat that did not disappoint! The moment you walk in you are transported to a tranquil oasis. The masseuse was amazing. I usually let them do their thing and request if they feel something to feel free to work at it. I was pleasantly surprised that she used some more advanced techniques to get circulation going across my back and shoulders. Left feeling great! Can’t wait to go back.

Today I came to Leaf Spa with my boyfriend. We both got a massage from Alex, and we had the best experience ever. It was both our first times getting a professional massage and it was 100% worth it!!!! Absolutely coming back for Alex he is amazing! The environment and feeling Leaf Spa gave us was indescribable. We have never felt this relaxed ever!!!

The leaf spa is an experience, a magical one. I was beyond impressed from beginning to end! Sylvia was wonderful and friendly. Dorthy was my massage therapist and was so kind, attentive, and Beyond skilled. Erin was my esthetician, she was so knowledgeable, informative and talented. I strongly suggest this amazing spa! You will not be disappointed.

I overall had a good experience but my treatment did not match the description. I got the mindfulness massage and it didn’t include a guided meditation or sound bowls. Was basically a regular massage. The amenities were nice and there weren’t a ton of people which was great but I can’t endorse a place that doesn’t follow through.

Leaf Spa at the Fairmont was from start to finish an A+ experience! From the customer service, intention tree, lighting and warm spa ambiance not to mention the excellent massage (I recommend adding hand & foot scrub) topped off with a hydrating and relaxing facial! Definitely one of the best luxury spas in the city!!

What an AMAZING experience from walking in, heading the treatment rooms and leaving the ambience to the staff interaction felt extremely welcoming. I was booked for a standard full body massage that was phenomenal and had the opportunity to make a unique body scrub from fresh ingredients. 10/10 I will be back soon.

Wonderful massage and beautiful spa aesthetics. I received my first prenatal massage, 50 mins, not knowing what to expect and thoroughly enjoyed it! I added the foot scrub and it was delightful. I left feeling very relaxed. Thank you. The seasonal teas are a nice touch.

I had been on travel to Europe then back home to Hawaii then off again to Japan home then a quick trip to Chicago. I was tired and sore! Sen Ada was a lifesaver! She worked hard on my sore muscles-perhaps in my top 5% of massages. Fabulous!!
