It was my belief after watching so much of Crime Patrol that lodging a FIR is a piece of cake, however my belief got detoriated when I had a genuine situation to lodge a FIR. My photos were abused by a Facebook user and I had all the proofs to file a FIR. I first went to Cyberabad Cyber crime branch. After so much of efforts, they just filed a complaint but not a FIR. After 3 weeks of pursuance, Cyber Crime people asked me to go to Dhule, Maharashtra as the user's profile was showing he is from Dhule. Thank God he didn't mention that he is alian otherwise they could have asked me to board a next space shuttle. Anyways, with the little knowledge and belief on police, I went to Dhule Maharashtra and met with the SP. He again registered a complaint and not a FIR. After 3 weeks of pursuance nothing moved as expected rather Dhule police suggested me to ignore the matter and not to use Facebook at all. Disappointed with the system, I was about to loose my hopes, but I came to know about a fb group, where I contacted one of the admin Adv Faizan. He suggested me to contact Mrs. Neena Gupta in Hyderabad. She rang couple of phones and a FIR is lodged within a day. I have no words to praise Faizan sir for his advice, help and connecting me to the right person ( Neena ma'am ) in Hyderabad and Neena ma'am for her great support to lodge a FIR. Faizan was a savior to my frustration!
