Bowling alley
"Met a friend and her kids"
"Overall the place is good for a game of bowling, pool or snooker however upon entering you can immediately tell that no investment has gone into the establishment in probably more than a decade"
"Went to go bowling today at 9:15pm as I checked online it was closed at 10pm there was only 2 of us so the game would have lasted only 20 mins we went up to the till to ask to play a game of bowling but the woman was counting the till so waited till she was done she looked up with a attitude “eh are you ok” I said yeah just want a game of bowling she looked me up and down and said “eh we’ll I closed my tills already “ the way she was speaking to us was disgusting this is my second time already dealing with her and she was been very rude 2 of the times, such rude manners will never be going back there again"
"We were playing cards and drinking coffee, of course without betting any money on that"
"Hello, we as a group booked for about 1h bowling"
Met a friend and her kids. I had two with me. Kids were fine..once in had a great time. However for parents the layout isnt great. Some areas are obscured so you cant see the kids at all times. No soft play areas for smaller children and the bigger kids were falling over them. The young girls acting as 'security' or whatever their roles are are not able to control each area...therefore the kids are going crazy. We overstayed by ten minutes and when the girl looked at our entry tickets was quite rude about it. Time just ran away from us...a gentle reminder would be good...or use the intercom. Instead of embarrassing parents and hovering over us while we gathered the kids. I will go to Clarehall in future with the kids and meet friends there instead.
Overall the place is good for a game of bowling, pool or snooker however upon entering you can immediately tell that no investment has gone into the establishment in probably more than a decade....everything is a throwback to the mid 1990's, the decor, bowling shoes, games, even the carpets. There is a makeshift restaurant on site if you like burgers, chips or chicken nuggets and in fairness they are not bad. In closing, it's not somewhere you would spend the day, but it is Handy if you are waiting for a film to start in the cinema next door or for a quick game of something, just beware of the feral teens that circulate during the summer holidays...

We were playing cards and drinking coffee, of course without betting any money on that. The manager of the place asks us to stop playing cards or leave because it is a bad influence for the kids as we were "gambling", but we were not. In that place there are plenty of slot machines that are quite more dangerous that just a simple card game (was not even poker or something like that). We had a conclusion; she was boring and empty inside, so she just decided to mess around and try to kick out some foreigners from her place. The other girl in the bar was nice with us, and even agreed with us about that.
Hello, we as a group booked for about 1h bowling. I guess we waited about half the time, because the team needed to fix something at the lane (We werent the only ones with that proablems). After the 1h we wanted to finish the game, so we booked another 1h. After about 20min the time ran out and we had to discuss with the manager for about 20min, so we could play the rest of the time. The music was really loud and there was no food. The condition of the toilets was really bad. The theme of the hall is Stuck in the 1990s what dosent makes it better! But to each his own.
Went to the soft play for a small birthday party. The place is well staffed and staff are friendly too. Not alot of tables for parents though and the section for the one year olds is beside the seating section however the entrance to it is around the back so not ideal as you have to stand around the back to watch your toddler. Outside the soft play area there is tables and chairs for parties which is nice and big but the whole area could do with a deep clean.

My family are locals and have been going here for years. Recently went with my dad to play pool. Younger staff were kinda and catered to us accordingly but the manager was incredibly rude. We were not being attended to after standing at the till for some time and others who came after us were being looked after before us. We kindly asked the manager to help us out and she immediately became rude and snappy. Completely ruined the day and left an awful image of a place we’ve been going to for years and never had problems at before.
Loved the hotel very stylish. Went for a 4 day break . Myself and my partner were woke at 9am with a drilling sound very load we actually thought something was seriously wrong. Phoned reception right away to be told it was building going on outside I was highly insulated as it was coming from the hotel . On checking out I was told it was on the website about a disturbance I explained I'm on vacation I don't look at my phone or website I was not on a business trip. Vary disappointed with the staffs reply. Won't be returning
I've been coming to the plex since I was a child myself and I've never had a bad experience here. Staff are very attentive and lovely, prices are reasonable. My only issue is the lack of a lift. Considering the soft play area for children is upstairs, this makes no sense. The staff offered to have someone to help me carry the buggy up but I think the company needs to invest in a lift in order to make it more accessible. Other than that it's a fun place to go and I would recommend it.
This place is amazing it caters from toddlers right up to 10 year olds there are so many different playparts that appeal to all ages and size so much for them to do and play here this place is an absolute breath of fresh air compared to fun galaxy clean reasonably price clean plenty of staff around constantly watching and checking the kids not ur typical play centre you can actually see that they put money back into this place this is now our favourite spot can't recommend enough 5*
Tldr: Don't lasertag here as an adult. Like a flashback to the 90's, cool arcade stuff, bowling and.. Laser tag. However, the quality of the laser tag equipment is horrible, extremely inaccurate guns and shields that might or might not be working. Skews the game like crazy. If you're here with a bunch of competitive adults, make sure you're in the blue team. They always win. Also, friendliness of the staff is not great. Not great at all.
My kid loves the zoo, but depending on timing it can't be absolutely mental or really quiet, which means I get dragged in to play with her, but unlike some places staff don't tell me to get out of the playzones. Good separate sections for toddlers too. Although I've seen some older kids in them but once the staff see they usually ask them to leave the toddler zone. And it's a nice place to play some other games downstairs afterwards.
Adult or child you can have fun here. The bowling is great. There are a lot of lanes so you are pretty much guaranteed to play. There are a lot of activity for kids and they do children's parties. The little ones will love celebrating their birthday here. The laser tag was quite fun. A grew take on the game. Not just running and shooting but a bit of strategy and patience is needed. All in all a top notch place for all.
Absolutely horrible place,, the zoo playground.. toddlers getting banged and pushed over by much bigger kids. Boys around 8 or 10 years old just doing backflips on top of toddlers and the staff not a care in the world, too busy looking at there phones or talking rubbish,, when I said it to one staff the answer was ok I’m too busy? One toddler was crying, and the mother was upset, I will definitely not be back,,
Bowling lanes are nice. Temperature and air quality is awful. Incredibly noisy with kids running around. The Starbucks staff wouldn't serve frappucinos. Got all of our orders wrong and burnt the milk. Wouldn't remake anything. Only bothered getting up and coming to the counter after several awkward minutes of us trying to figure out if it was closed.

Its a fantastic set up with the parent area in the middle of the jungle gym. You can see your little one wherever they may be while you enjoy a cup of starbucks coffee. My daughter has autism and the staff are very accommodating and friendly. They don't mind going down stairs to order your food or coffee. They also allow me to bring in my own snacks for my daughter. She has a very limited diet.
For me it's an awful dark gloomy smelly place. But the kids love the adventure zone, which is unfortunately located at the top of a very steep set of steps. No access for buggies. I was 9 months pregnant on my last visit and after getting myself and two small kids up the stairs and taken their shoes off ready to go in was informed I had to go back down to the bowling desk to pay first .
We booked for 8 children on 2 lanes. It was an extremely hot day but it was very comfortable inside. Not many people there last Friday so was perfect for us to enjoy the bowling and arcade games. The staff were brilliant, especially the young lady behind the food counter who supplied us with free jugs of cold water (don't know her name but she wore glasses :-) We all had a blast!!
Worst bowling alley in the entire country. Playing here is like being robbed, tracks are old but the old part is the people working there, no client support for them you will be another idiot coming to that place. Zero professionalism and passion. Avoid the place without regrets

Good amount of stuff to do, near the cinema and burger king means you could hang round and make a day of it. Quasar sessions are a bit too short. Right on a major bus corridor so it's quick to get into town or most places in the north eastern suburbs. A five/ten minute bus ride from Clongriffin Train Station. It's a handy, central location.
Honestly, not really a fan of this place, there zoo for the kids is shocking, to small to hold anything, it needs to be better to complete with the competition that is out there. They don't book party areas for the kids anymore. There is a lot of open space that would help them out going to waste upstairs. It needs a better approach.
We brought our baby to the kids zone upstairs and they had a great time. The place is gated with a buzzer and while getting on in years is extremely clean. The staff are very friendly and there is enough fun and diversion to cater for babies, toddlers and you kids. Kudos for having and running such a well maintained place.
It's a good place to be for some causal fun. The leisureplex is next to the Odeon Cineplex and powercity. Plenty of parking available at all times. The leisureplex includes bowling and other video games with a restaurant. It also has parking and entrance and facilities for people using wheelchair. …
Place feels dated and could use a refresh. Bowling system miscalculated scores several times and staff couldn't really fix. System they use is from 1999 so definitely would benefit from some investment. Not possible to order drinks apart from using vending machines and no food was available.
Excellent place for disabled kids!!! The staff are so good with and to my son, they have excellent management and a team that get you. Connor to mention one, and I think Jenny is the manager. OMG AMAAAAAZINNNG staff, we go nearly twice a week to bowl. Excellent. Highly recommend.
This place needs a complete overhaul...it smells terribly and they don't have enough staff so long que time. Last time I was there they had the ladies toilets closed and were using the men's toilets as an alternate...lets just say I will "hold" in future until I get home.
The bowling is a bit pricey and you have to pay per player and per game. The place isn't busy and the staff is nice though. The arcades are also pricey and very limited. Some of them were broken (basket ball had only 1 ball left), there is no ticket to earn
We were in the zoo part it was hot, smelly and closterphbic. Not very well organised. Much bigger children playing roughly in the toddler section, my not yet 2 year old was nearly squashed numerous times. It is also quite expensive for what it is.
The timing on the website says it’s open but was closed people have been turning up with their kids waiting outside in cold and no one is there, they have been told by the guards that they should charge their timings online but they won’t do it.
Love it it's great for the children they love it,there's loads of things to do together, like playing bowling alley, playing pool, air hockey I love a game of that aswell, upstairs there quasar that my children love an the adults,it's lots of fun!!
Good soft play area for the kids. Downstairs could do with some updating. Parking on site and Burger King in same complex which is good for day out and food.

Its expensive for the time you get bowling. Unless your into bowling, the pool hall or a kids play zone theres no much less in it. Its arcade section is dismal and the cafe if open looks like it could do with a food safety inspection check.
Good for your kids, the staff not at all friendly you get the feeling that they are so busy they don't feel the need to be nice to you. Very hard not to walk out but then it would only be your kid that would suffer and couldn't do that
The bowling alley was really fun. Sad that the food service was suspended and we weren’t able to order some finger snacks or drinks. The staff were friendly and kept the venue flowing well. We had a good time celebrating a birthday.
I brought my four year old grandson to the play area last weekend. It was my 1st time there with him. . I was really pleased to find that ever single member of staff were pleasant and very helpful. He had a great time.
In the pool hall there’s never chalk tables are ripped tables unlevel pay for your hour you be lucky to get 45 mins until they turn of the lights and bulbs blown on the tables etc need to Gett there act together
Best place to have fun. Thursday and Friday byob day. You can bring G drinks and food and get a band for like 14 for whole night. Can play pool or bowling unlimited. Great place to come with friends and kids.
Went to zoo part this morning with my daughter there was a young girl Amy working she was amazing with the small kids.

I've been there to play bowling, which was very nice. But it's an environment for children/families. It was very quiet and under my expectations. I would go back only if I wouldn't have other options.
It was our first time there and although we had booked two games in advance the staff didn't honor it and we had to left because they gave one of our slots to another person. Very disappointing.
No rests or triangles for pool tables. A few of the Video Games not working. People smoking vapes unchallenged in the billiards area with children around playing. €13 an hour for Pool? Rip off.
Although it hasn't changed much since I was a kid (er, a few years ago), I've started bringing the kids (to quazar and bowling). They love it, so all is good. Please renovate the place though
Great place to bring kids on a rainy day, good deals also on the pool / bowling, Friendly staff etc

Ideal for an evening with friends/family. Bowling alley machines behave erratically. We wanted to play laser tag, but the staff had already left and we couldn't go for that activity
Not so many arcade games tbh, throw away the casino games and add more videogames for kids!

Great place. Needs far friendlier staff. Very unwelcoming as if you are a burden on their day. I would come here regularly and haven't come across one friendly staff member.

We were told we could bring food over conversations over the phone , when we went to confirm in establishment, they told use we couldn't . Mixed messages but kids loved it
The activists are fantastic the only thing I’m not happy with is the toilets because they are outdated and there is no hangers to hang your jacket on the toilet door.
Bowling way too expensive Arcade games dated. Some of them from the nineties.

Very crowded and long cues. There was only one staff personel at the bowling / reception in a busy time, but overall, good experience. The bowling was enjoyable.
Haven't been bowling or pool in years. Note I went with my girlfriend and yup!! I did not let her win haha its called equality. No favouritism here folks lolol

Bowling lane kept breaking down. Then we played pool/ snooker the balls getting stuck. Caffè closed. Staff nice, cormtable surrounding. toilets spotless.
When to the leisure plex and it was very very out-dated and the women on the desk was really mean and had an attitude that is the reason of my complaint
Had good time. It's €8 per person for a game and €14 person for 2 games. Rest all games it's a euro each. Should have reduced the price for bowling.
Handy spot to catch a movie and maybe hit the arcade. Countless hours can be spent with all the activities on offer here. Lots of free parking too.
Good place to have fun, it's just a bit frustrating that in a Saturday night don't have any type of portions to share with friends while playing.
Very quiet so quick and easy set up for bowling however seating area at bowling lane was filthy, staff weren't busy so had ample time to clean.
Love this place for the kids even tho, it needs an update in decor the price for kids for bowling is 7e each on the weekend which isn't too bad
When it's raining, Leisureplex is a good place to have fun. Attractions are not expansive but some fees are too much like 1€ just to enter O_O
Gr8 facilities staff so helpful always, extremely busy today, our fault as we didn't book in advance our group love the bowling.every wk.
We had a great friend and family day playing bowling. Nice helpful staff. Only it's a pity they are not back to serving food since covid.
Just went to the Childrens play area. It is well run, and plenty of staff to keep an eye on things.....excellent for children from 2 up.
Was there for bowling and a game of pool loved it staff was so friendly and helpful and had a great time will definitely be coming back
Went bowling here , staff so helpful and friendly, would highly recommend

Fun place. Contains recently renovated bowling lanes, arcade games, snooker, American pool, kids zoo. A good place for entertainment
Kids enjoy this place. Have had both good and bad experiences here. Staff are young. Place has been the same for 20 yrs. Nuff said.
€28 for 1 game of bowling on a Monday night 2 adults 2 children very expensive!! Needs to move with the times it's very very dated!
Took kids there their first time, had a great time bowling, friendly welcoming plex , clean and spacious. Definitely will be back.
Slight lack of bowling balls. Typical bowling alley, with bowling, arcades, pool, cafe. Staff friendly and helpful. April 2022.
Bowling, pool, laser tag and kids play area which is better than most. If they could keep the lowlifes out it would get 5 stars
Everything in one place. Cinema, bowling, great close area for the small one with pool with balls, slides. Highly recommended.
Badly needs to be done up the children play area hasn't changed in years. Dreadful smell in the tiny bathroom not very clean.
Theres minimal arcade games. Decent pool/snooker facilities. Good bowling lanes. Spending too long there makes me die inside.
You'll find it great to organise any birthday parties, to spend a family time really well. Big cinemas just around the corner
Great fun here with the kids and they were able to accommodate us for bowling even though we hasn't booked. Friendly staff

Bowling alleys are good. It is not very crowded so i never had to book in advance. There are plenty of pool tables too.
Loud and it's of flashy stuff for the kids. Arcades for adults too. Pool snooker bowling quasar. Lots of parking space
Amazing place makes it fun for everyone “WARNING” the money games where you give in money to push off money is a scam
Bowling, games pool snooker just no more hot food only down spot. Plenty of parking great place to go for few hours
Very expensive, SOME staff are nice, alot of malfunctions at bowling alley e.g. Lane shuts off, incorrect scores.
good bowling alley, also contains a lazer tag and some arcade cabinets and pool and snooker tables. recommended.
Friendly staff and the bowling was fun. The choice of video games is limited and games are a little expensive.
Great place not as crowded, children play area is brilliant. Huge bowling arena.. close by cinemas aswewell...
