I usually don't write low star-rating review unless it's absolutely upsetting that I had to share the story. I live in USA but was visiting family in Burwood neighborhood of Sydney over the Lunar New Year holiday, and it was to my surprise and joy that I found a Les Néréides story in Westfield center in Burwood on Jan 19th, 2023 because it's my favorite jewelry brand and I've bought several from the Paris stores. The store associate who helped me with my purchase was also the store manager and she was absolutely lovely, friendly and helpful. I made my purchase and she let me know that I will have credit when I made my next purchase, and set me up to receive all those email. I thanked her and left the store. I came back to Westfield 2 days later and noticed there was a lovely Red Envelope with a rabbit design at the window to celebrate Lunar New Year. Rabbit is my year so I was thinking how nice it would be to have one as a memory/celebration. I stepped into a store and there was a different store associate this time. I asked if I could get a red envelope and that I had made a purchase 2 days ago. She said that the purchase had to be 200 AUD or more, to which I said it was and showed her my receipt. From here on is the reason for the low rating. It took sometimes for her to find me in the system even though I had showed her all the details from receipt, and she proceeded to tell me that the store manager (who sold me the item) should have given me the red envelope and that she (the current store associate) could not give me one because inside the envelope is the physical voucher, and I had already had access to my voucher/credit online. I kindly explained that unfortunately didn't happen (me receiving the red envelope with eligible purchase within the eligible time), and my reason for wanting the envelope, and that I honestly didn't need the physical voucher inside and just really wanted the red envelope. There was many red envelope in the store that I could visibly see. No matter what, the store associate was not really understanding and trying at all to help me. She also told me repeatedly that there is chance she could give me any envelope today (with or without the physical voucher) and told me to come back couple day later which is when the store manager works. I said that unfortunately I'm leaving Sydney to return home before that. So basically I did not get the promotion like other customers who could have walked in the same day and made the same purchase. I was upset but understood that it could have been impossible to do anything in her position. I thanked for her time and left the store. I found myself in the Queen Victoria Building (QVB) the day before I leave Sydney and found a Les Néréides store. I decided to try my luck again, and mostly because I wanted to understand the somewhat-unreasonable explanation _that_ store associate told me. I went to the store with the same story, the the QVB store associate along with her manager were mortified that the Burwood store associate acted that way. It was to my delight that the Burwood store associate totally could have, but I still did not know why she didn't bother helping a customer who was eligible. Unfortunately QVB store has ran out of the red envelope to which they were very sorry and gave me the Ox year envelope instead, to which I thanked. The QVB store manager even said she would talk to that Burwood store associate about my experience. Long story short, it's not a big deal but it was an upsetting customer experience for me who was within right and eligibility, and what could have been a great shopping experience at this specific store. I hope Les Néréides read this story and trained their store associate better so this doesn't happen again. Unlikely that I will ever return to this store.

My experience with the Burwood store has left me thoroughly disappointed and frustrated, highlighting a severe lack of customer service and communication within their operations. In early 2023, I purchased a pair of earrings from this store, only to encounter a problem when a crystal fell from one of them. Hoping to get it fixed, I returned to the Burwood store on 17/04/23, where they assured me they would send it to Paris for repair. Little did I know that this would mark the beginning of a prolonged and exasperating ordeal. A month later, attempting to follow up on the status of my earrings, I was met with sheer incompetence. The staff at the Burwood store seemed clueless, directing me to contact support using a provided phone number. However, when I called, they instructed me to inquire about updates directly at the store. I visited the Burwood store twice, even seeking assistance at a Canberra store to check their system, but to no avail. No one could provide any information about the whereabouts of my earrings. Fast forward to January 2024, after months of uncertainty and fruitless attempts to retrieve my earrings, I finally found some resolution through the chat function. Astonishingly, I learned that the earrings had been in the store since November, a fact that would have been reassuring had anyone bothered to inform me. The lack of communication throughout this entire process is nothing short of abysmal. The mishandling of my situation by the Burwood store reflects poorly on their commitment to customer service. The inefficiency, miscommunication, and utter disregard for keeping customers informed are issues that must be urgently addressed. Purchasing a pair of earrings should not result in months of frustration and disappointment. My hope is that the Burwood store takes immediate steps to rectify their internal communication processes and deliver the level of service that customers deserve.

We were welcomed into the Burwood store by the lovely Rebecca. We had no knowledge of the history of Les Nereides. Rebecca was so generous with her time and told us about each of the stories of the jewellery pieces we were interested in. We are so delighted with our purchases and the stories behind how each collection piece is born out of the artist’s vision and inspiration. Thank you Rebecca and thank you Les Nereides!

The worst shopping experience at Les Nereides. The worst ever sales person who should be re-trained and learn how to talk nicely,respectfuly and professionally to a customer. I always buy some earrings or necklace for my daughter and her friends as gift but choose not to come back shopping again because of the sales lady. Felt being offended.

Chanced upon Les Néréides shop in Burwood late Sunday PM. Karen the consultant was so helpful despite the nearly closing time for the shop. She remained attentive and patient. There are so many beautiful pieces to choose from in this shop. I will definitely be back for more.
