Oof, didn't realise I've never reviewed this place! Every Thursday/Friday they put on an excellent evening with a weekly menu including vego and vegan items. Check the instagram for the week's menu. It's our go to, always a delicious surprise! BYO only for the drinkers, but only a couple of minutes walk from Dan Murphy's.

I visit the Lettuce Eat for lunch on average a couple of times a week, as I work locally and have been doing so for many years now. Not only is the product quality exceptional, with the food always made fresh and with great variety in their menu, but Sam and her team consistently provide customer service that is second to none. All of their team are so friendly, efficient and happy to accommodate all special requests. However Sam in particular, really goes the extra mile to provide excellent service to her customers and as a result, she is a much loved member in the local community and I would even say the Lettuce Eat has become a local institution in West End! Delicious food, excellent value and incredible customer service – easily one of my favourite businesses in Brisbane.

These guys have good food but my other half tells me that one of their people does NOT use gloves or even tongs when handling food. I went and had a look and true enough...lady handling food and selecting items out of cold trays without any gloves and no use of tongs. Excess meat and salad not needed for sandwich gets handled straight back into the food tray. This is after touching all kinds of things including cash and cards from lunch shoppers. Pretty sure this is illegal not to mention...a real health hazard. Other half wrote to them.Let's see if the poor food-handling behaviour changes. Shame because sandwiches I got from there were really good. Have these people NOT been following local news stories in Australia about food poisoning outbreaks???

Im not one to leave reviews unless the restaurant merits it. Wanna know what I love about Lettuce Eat? If I feel like a Thai Green Curry on Wednesday or Chicken Boscaiola on Monday...the Chef makes it for me. How cool is that! First time I went there I said out of the blue "I really feel like Shepherds Pie". Chef Rob says "pick a day and I'll make it for you. HAH GOTTA LOVE IT!! No need to visit today coz its Roast Pork Wednesday tomorrow & mmm mmm mmm I feel a Roast Pork sanga comin on...or maybe I'll have a roll...or maybe a toss salad. Arghhh too many options...thats probably the only downside to Lettuce Eat...too many dang options! Keep up the good work gang :D

Love love love. Sammi has done my corporate catering for years. I cannot recommend her and the team highly enough. They’ve gone next level since they started dinners at West End at their cafe. It’s our go to Thursday date night!

I have shellfish allergies and Sammi is amazing with providing awesome options without things that will kill me so I’m not missing out on what everyone else is eating.

We have stopped into Lettuce Cafe a few times during our week here in West End and couldn’t speak more highly of the service provided by Sam. She made us and our 6 month old feel so welcome, she even gave him a cuddle so we could enjoy your coffee and breakfast. The food is made fresh and obviously with love!

Move to West End recently and stumbled across this gem of a place. The service is fantastic and the food is absolutely delicious and well priced. I got the pork banh mi for 10 bucks is a steal and authentic. Since then I have been back 2 more times and each time was just as great. Highly recommend this place and the staff are so friendly.

Feb 2023, They're doing Phở as a night time gig two nights a week. You may need to book, the website hasn't been updated as I write this. It's the real deal: 15+ hour beef broth and a nice selection of fresh herbs including long leaf Vietnamese mint. It may be a set 3 course meal for a while, make your own soft rice noodle paper rolls, and a traditional warm corn grains and coconut milk desert. Well worth it. $30 a head, nice and easy.

Choices FDC used Lettuce Eat for a wok conference. The Lettuce Eat crew showed up early, were very professional and well presented. The food and drinks were very well presented, plentiful and so good. All of our staff have spent the week after the conference telling us how much they have enjoyed the food, how much food there was and well it was displayed. hank you so much. We will definitely used Lettuce Eat again.

A stroke of luck coming across this place. Greeted by an incredibly lovely and passionate lady, then guided us on how to properly eat the "Bang Xeo" crepes with the salad, which were absolutely delicious. Can't wait to come back here.

Sam and her offsider Cookie provided the catering for a private family function on Sunday 26th. The presentation and quality of the food was excellent. Sam also used her expertise to offer advice on the menu (including children's meals). I would have no hesitation in highly recommending using Sam for your catering . The food at Lettuce Eat is great as well.

A fantastic place with quality, authentic Vietnamese food at affordable prices! Lettuce eat is run by an incredibly caring family whose hospitality is head above shoulders. I have eaten there twice in the last few weeks for dinner, trying the Pho and Banh Xeo. Absolutely loved both dishes. Highly recommend it to everyone. More

Lettuce Eat catered for my daughters 21st birthday party - and it was superb. Food delicious, light and fresh. Arrived ready to eat on platters. Looked very impressive for our guests and we all loved our food. Thank you Sam and team. You made the night even better.

Service with a smile. Strong, sweet Vietnamese iced coffee. Great selection of food. I had the BBQ pork bahn mi. Classic! It was soo good. Super fresh. I went back in and ordered another one to go for my missus.

This shop has been in the same place for well over 15 yrs that I can remember. They food is good even if a tad expensive with it always being freshly made to order.

The staff are very friendly, polite and super quick at sorting out your order. I love egg sandwiches on wholemeal bread. Their chocolate milkshakes are delicious.

Nice "Energise" smoothie. Water jug and glassed no problem. Courteous staff.

The Mediterranean wrap was really nice, the wrap was toasted thus crunchy on the outside with a good combo of veggies and fetta on the inside.

I come here every week for a bacon and egg roll and a coffee. Lettuce Eat's a West End institution and Sam is an absolute joy to be around.

Great food, fresh burgers, wraps, rolls & sandwiches all made to order as you like it plus big hot box variety. Good coffee.
