The bakery has variety of delicious pastries. What stops me from going is this older lady who somehow always seems to overcharge you for what ever reason. When asked why shes charging more than stated on the price on the board in-front, She got nervous and made up a bogus reason like its not the regular flan, this is different that’s why. Yet there was nothing different about it like no toppings or anything. Just plain flan. The same thing happened when she charged more for a cheese cake. This lady lacks proper ethics and makes the bakery look bad. For this reason me and my family decided to go elsewhere to avoid having deal with people like this. The pastries are good but is disappointing that their customer service staff is like this.
The pistachio cheesecake is a favorite the flavor is perfect right in the middle for a perfect cheesecake. Can easily be divided into 8 small pieces and Can last a few days for one person. The cannolis are very good and not too sweet you are able to eat only one of the entire one. But you are able to enjoy a cannoli without making a pucker face. The pistachio cookies are my favorite. Crunchy outside soft inside. It makes a great personal snack and not paying high consequences m. They are small maybe two to three bites but highly recommended! So much to indulge in stop by if your ever in Jackson Heights. You may want to call to ensure your cravings are in stock. There could be 1 hour wait times on certain items.
U need 2 be flexible- space small so often things sell out, + big % of products cycled in\out- u never sure if specific product available. BUT daily selection is large (assorted Danish, cakes, pies, cookies) AND you can special order + for big groups. Seating capacity ~10. For last minute occasion\holiday they are PERFECT though- plenty of whole cakes \ pies already well decorated. Good fresh coffee or cappuccino only- limited space. Service very courteous. MUST GETS- Cheesy Flan- super delicious & big portion. My favorite. Italian cheesecake- ditto (it's not the overly wet version btw). Pignoli cookies & fig pastry. Napoleon w\ pastry cream. Different pumpkin desserts.
Customer service GREAT Pastries awful Cookies OUTSTANDING! Both pistachio cheesecake & tres leche had some off flavors throughout....like part of thr dairy was going bad. I couldn't finish either of them Flan is phenomenal. And chocolate coconut macaron was sooo good! Dense and not overly sweet. Flan cheesecake is an interesting concept. Both layers are great on their own. Not needed to mix! Enjoy one of each. Cookies are crazy expensive at $15/25/lb but the linzer tarts are good, pignolis get better with each bite, and Russian Tea Cookies changed my life! They are like crack! I'm not even a cookie person
Hidden gem pastry cafe in Jackson Heights. My favorite is the berry napoleon. Not overly sweet and the cream is airy and light. I also love that they have a sugarfree cheesecake. I tried one and i love it. The pistacchio cheesecake and carrot cake is also good. We tried their strawberry gelatto and its the best we’ve tasted so far. This is our new go to dessert place. The decor inside is simple and welcoming. Though the lady who works their lacks some personal touch and doesnt smile at all and it feels like you are talking to an automated robot. But otherwise i love the desserts here
Cookies are good, look into the pecan cooky to see how this is done right, the Almond cookies are a tad sweet for my taste however if you choose to pair it with their coffee which can be strong at times, perhaps even sufficiently intense enough to promote new hair growth then I'm sure you are likely to be all right. Cakes are of descent quality again could be less sweet that would raise the bar of quality a notch. AC was strong as in HK strength that is super for the pleasant seating area with moveable tables. Worthwhile to stop in to try your favorites see if you agree?
My favorite cake is from this place! My boyfriend got me the Dulce de Leche cake for my birthday. I think they could have added more of the cake and less of the frosting- but honestly I just bought more sponge cake from my local Chinese bakery and put the frosting on it lol. It was $41.00 I think? Also, they don’t ask for tips at the register, which I really like because it doesn’t put you on the spot to tip. Next time we go, we’ll make sure to tip nicely with cash. The staff was super sweet and wished me a happy birthday when they found out, lol.
The customer service in this bakery shop is amazing, the workers here are super nice, especially the cashier with the two braids. I needed a cake for my daughters birthday, and they worked with me, and everything went smoothly. The cake looks amazing, it was already done by the time i came to pick it up. They even helped put the unicorn horn and the unicorn eyes on the cake. The kids in my daughters class loved the cake. Im excited that i found this bakery, it will be my go to bakery from now on. Two thumbs up from me and 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Small cute little cafe, friendly people. It's got a really nice calm feeling. No students whatsoever with laptops/books, so people are here basically socializing, which is a good sight. Varieties of scrumptious pastries to choose from. I'd suggest try everything. They're all freshly baked. Yum! 11/18/2020 - today i ordered an almond croissant , it was stale! Yuck . Be careful. If it looks stale, IT IS! The employee had the guts to say "its good, and the almonds were in pieces just for that one croissant he gave me"
This bakery usually has good treats and service but lately they have been leaving both. They dont carry sugar free cheesecake and when I asked if they may carry some tomorrow or another day the server at the front was super nasty and said she doesn't know because she doesn't work in three back and make them. I feel there's a way to talk to customers which this counter person failed to do. This is why I think I will stay away and try to find a business that value customers and speale to them with respect.
I tried Lety's for the first time to buy St. Joseph's pastries (sfingi and zeppole di San Giuseppe). They were delicious! For as many bakeries in general and especially Italian bakeries there are in Queens, so many lack a good cannoli cream. The cannoli cream in the sfingi had the taste and texture I was looking for. I also bought a croissant, pain au chocolat, and café con leche. All of the goods were delicious, fresh, and great quality. Will definitely be coming back!
Favorite little spot in Jackson Heights. Cozy, casual, and very nice people! Noise level is low so I see people coming in for morning paper reading or friendly meet ups. There's usually a line in the morning and they tend to run out of bagels and rolls by noon. They have several 2 seaters but I've seen larger groups come in and they were able to sit just fine. People who come here are mostly regulars- definitely a sense of community. $10 min for cards, no restroom.
Best rainbow cookies in NYC right now. About as legit as quality delicious italian rainbow cookies can get. Perfect amount of chocolate layer and fruit jam layer and the right chew like a cookie, but moist enough like a quality cake. DELICIOUS. Their pignoli cookies are AMAZING too (the ones with the pine nuts baked into the top). Also be sure to try their flan cheesecake. Genius idea for a cheesecake and life changing. I buy it every holiday season.
I found the staff very friendly and helpful. Very sweet as well. As for the pastries and baked goods. Let me start by saying super fresh and was very very delicious. The napoleon was crunchy with a nice cream centre that was not overly sweet. With fresh berries. The rainbow cookies standard. But very good. Biscotti and butter cookies. Usually I find them too sweet. But here is just the right amount of sweet. Overall. Great bakery will return
I ordered a carrot cake with cream on top and it was delicious! Loved the cream, it tasted more like cheesecake. For the price the cake is fantastic! the only suggestion I can make is maybe the carrot flavor could get stronger. All in all, happy with the cake I ordered.

I love the mini fruit tarts. My personal favorite is the strawberry fruit tart. My younger brother likes the blackberry fruit tart. It has a custard taste with a lil crunch because of the crust. On top of that the fruit on top makes it taste very fresh. They have cookies, croissants, tarts, pastries, bread, cakes, cheesecakes, brownies, and etc. I highly recommend this place and usually there’s a line because of how good it is :)
I love Lety's! I love their caramel cake, cheesecakes (especially Oreo cheesecake), chocolate croissants, and carrot cake! Everything I've tried here has been great, and my family has been coming here for almost 10 years. It has nice atmosphere as well, and the service is great! Highly recommend!

I ordered a Tres Leches cake on the phone three days in advance. The lady there charged me for Tres Leches ($35), when I got home the cake isn’t even Tres Leches. It’s just a regular cake with frosting and fruit. They didn’t even have the cake ready when I got there. She asked me what name to put on it. It’s upsetting and frustrating to cut open your cake and it’s not even the one you payed for.
All the baked goods they sell are amazing. There fruit tart is worth making the trip from The Bronx. The staff are cordial. The location is a bit small, gets busy especially when school let's out. Otherwise perfect.

Great STRONG coffee + espresso (I got a soy milk latte) and yummy pastries for a good price, but 3 stars because of the false advertising on their window. I wanted to sit and do some work and decided to stop in because it said "free Wi-Fi" but they actually don't have it. If you need a space to sit with reliable Wi-Fi, sadly, you have to go down the street to Caffe Bene.
There is only one word to describe Letys's bakery "DELICIOUS "In my last order I ask for a special cake decorated as Autumn theme for my son 15 year birthday, the cake looked amazing and it tasted delicious, the baker follow exactly my instructions and did an amazing job. It was a tres leches cake, with pecans strawberries and peach. I highly recommend Lety's bakery.
Went in today Sept 15 between 5-530 was attended by a female who looked like she did not want to be there. I ordered apart from my sister but my sister was going to pay for both of us. The lady got mad and said next time you shouldn’t do that and rolled her eyes. If you don’t want to work I guess why work attending customers? Other than that pasties are really good.
I didn’t visit here yet, but the lady who picked up my phone answered my questions were very friendly and warmed my heart. I was asking if they have non diary dessert for my husband’s birthday. She was very informative and got back to me after double checking their products. I would certainly going to visit here.

Coffee is good and super well priced. And they offer almond and oat milk at no extra charge. You can get two coffees with any milk of your choice for about $3.50. It also always smells amazing in there and we’ve tried quite a few of their cookies and they are delicious! And their flan is better than other pricier places in the neighborhood! I love letys
Lety's is a quiet neighborhood bakery, modest prices but excellent pastries and coffee. I come here at least once a day on the weekend to get a cafe con leche! You cannot lose with an almond or chocolate croissant, brownie, oreo or almond cheesecake, and/ or flan. For a brunch, stop in for a whole carrot cake for $16 and your friends will love you!
This is a great bakery, the pastries are always tasty and fresh. However the service lacks so much. The women are always gossiping and they take forever with each order. They don’t care that you have to go to work or that you have to move your car before you get a ticket. Honestly a coffee and a pastry shouldn’t take 20 minutes on line to order
Just discovered this place, went in and saw someone having a piece of cake, it looked so good I asked what kind of cake it was and I was told it was carrot cake. So I decided to try and wow!!! Loved it!! It is so fresh and delicious and they give you a nice sized piece too. Will be going back so get more. Plus the customer service is superb.
One of my regular stops. Always order thanksgiving pies here. And their chai Latte pine nut cookies and hot chocolate are among the best I’ve had. Their croissants are awesome and better than the Parisian place that just opened on Northern Blvd. It’s across the street but I’d rather walk up to Letty and it’s not a gentrifying chain.
I have heard so many good things about this bakery. Most people who recommend this bakery must have never baked any cakes at home. They think that this is an Italian or some European bakery. No, this is a Latin bakery. They just have full of sugary cakes, flans and stuff. I don’t see anything particularly inviting from this place.
Just moved to the neighborhood and saw them online and decided to stop by. The staff was very friendly and impeccably clean. I bought some cookies, gelato and flan. I havent tried everything yet but it all looks great. Definitly coming back and trying more stuff. Specifically napoleon and lobster tales and Danish like pastry.
I go to Lety's with my mother and we both enjoy their lobster tail and blackberry cheesecake. The coffee pairs well with the pastries! Lety's has great service, both in English and Spanish. Wish there was more seating, but once you are able to sit down, this is a great place for a long conversation with a friend over coffee.
Lety Bakery makes the best pumpkin pies EVER! You can buy it by the slice or order a whole pie. They have both large and small pies. Make sure you order in time for the holidays because they go fast! You might want to sit and eat it there and experience the charm of this sweet neighborhood bakery. You’ll be glad you did.
I got their flan cheesecake and some cookies. They were ok. The cheesecake was balanced between the sweetness of the flan layer and the mild-sour taste of the cheese layer. But there was no thing special, so did the cookies. But their croissant was delicious. Not the classic kind but was crispy and soft at the same time.
**DO NOT ORDER CUSTOM CAKE** I usually do not give 1 star reviews, but I had an unpleasant experience. I ordered custom cake few days in advance. On the pick up day they called me and asked about the cake I ordered. They did not make the cake I ordered. Also, the ladies at the counter were super rude and unprofessional.
The place is nice but not good for taking your laptop there. I thought I rather support small business so I went there instead of Starbucks, bad idea. They don’t let you use the restroom and gave me attitude when I asked about it. The coffee was good tho but the pastries weren’t. Such a shame but I won’t be going back
Cakes and cookies are good but the service is something that does not exist. Completely lacking in manners. Asking for a box for a cake that does not fit into a small plastic box is too much for them. The experience is completely disappointing and I will definitely not be back for anything there.
My favorite bakery. I just bought a chocolate cake for a friend's birthday and everyone loved it. I love their cheesecakes, which now come in personal mini-cake size and small birthday cake size. I love the little pastry horns filled with white cream. I love everything they make is delicious.
Very solid cheesecakes that are reasonably priced. Workers were very helpful and talented. However, I didn't realize the cheesecakes didn't have a crust before I ordered it. I'm personally not too keen on cheesecakes without any sort of crust, but the cheesecake was enjoyable regardless.
A good basic bakery. They do what they do well and better than most other bakeries in Jackson Heights, but they would never compare to bakeries in the city. The pastries are dependably acceptable and not too sweet. That puts them ahead of most other Jackson Heights bakeries.
I went early on a weekend and they had a good selection of items and it wasn't too busy. $26 got me an almond croissant, pignoli and Russian tea cookies (all pictured). Both of the cookies were PHENOMENAL, the almond croissant was just okay. I would definitely come back!
I hate to put the word out but this place is great. Go there at 7:30am to get everything fresh out of the oven and TOTALLY delicious. I drive from Forest Hills just to get their fresh raisin danish and just about anything else that is freshly baked in the morning.
We discovered this little gem years ago and it was great back then. Now, they're even better. Pastries and cakes all over, good coffee. The staff is friendly and fast. The place is small but cozy. You definitely need to know where it is coz you might miss it.
This is definitely a great place to get a cup of coffee and a nice pastry. The lobster tail bakery is so good here. Not being able to travel to Boston for lobster tails at Mike's pastries, this definitely fulfills that craving. Worth trying! Check it out!
Friendly, knowledgeable, and well trained staff. A Galore of delightful tasting pastries & muffins. Delicious variety of pies & cakes, well made cappuccino, the cheesecake flan is one of most divine I've ever tasted. Money well & delightfully spent.
Great selection of bakery items. My friend's love the carrot cake, the apple turnovers are excellent. The iced coffee is good, not watered down. The staff are nice and it is very clean. Very friendly staff. Lots of variety, everything is very fresh.
Poor service, owner not that attentive and lack of customer service, quality of product is just ok. and by the way, do not order custom cakes, I agreed with other reviews, they do not do what you agreed, the pastry chef is very rude and unhelpful.
It’s a place I like to go…. But be careful with the strawberries cover . I order some today and regret eating it. Made me sick with my stomach. The strawberries was getting damage. Why would you still have it there. Just remove it next time.
the heart dipped raspberry chocolate butter cookies are amazing. All other butter cookies were very moist & delicious! Tried the carrot cake w/ cream cheese it was a little to dry & the cream cheese wasn’t really sweet more on the sour side
Lovely spot to spend an hour en route to laguardia. Neighborhood spot, excellent bagel and flan as befits the city, actual-resident prices (rather than the tourist/traveler ones). Very nice service, welcoming patient and multilingual.
Friendly and patient workers. Picked up an assortment of bite sized sweets for Mother’s Day for my coworkers. The decorations were gorgeous and they all raved about the flavor. I had the Russian Tea Cookies and they were delicious.
The coffee was great, and the cakes were perfect. Should try their tiramisu and caramel cake!

Loved the cakes, pastries and cookies!! I moved down South 4 years ago and have missed the wonderful bakeries in the city. Nothing compares. It was so nice to have delicious bakery items on my visit back home.
Good pastries and cakes. I really liked the brownie, crunchy and filled with walnuts. The lobster tail pastry was also great. I'll pass on the gelato next time: it had a weird texture and the flavors were off.

Lety's is the loveliest little bakery. Everything I've tried here has been delicious and anytime I bring my friends something from here, they love it. The staff is friendly and try to offer quick service.
Cozy, clean, fast and friendly service. Baked goods are excellent, and fresh. Reasonable prices. Only downside, not much tables, but it's understandable due to COVID. Will definitely come here again!
I’ve been coming to this bakery for a few months and everything I’ve tried has been reasonably priced and very tasty. My favorite are the butter cookies. They make a surprisingly good cannoli, too
This is nice simple bakery with limited space to seat. I love the flan they have. Its very creamy and well proportioned. They also have a nice strong coffee. A must visit for the local foodies.
Local bakery in Jackson Heights which I consider my favorite even though I rarely eat sweets. Love the fruit tarts, apple pie, and cookies. There’s a lot there and you can’t go wrong.
If you're looking for the perfect flan, this is the place!!! Just don't forget to ask for extra syrup. Also their Italian cheesecake is phenomenal!!!!! Best bakery in Jackson Heights
Bustling little bakery - great customer service, cakes, pies, and pastries are coming out fresh from the oven, and very reasonable prices. A great local business to support
This is a neighborhood favorite, with good desserts and very reasonable prices. The service is friendly and efficient. I think the macarons are a well-kept secret.
Good bakery, really bad service! You have to wait 10 minutes until the 2 rude girls at the counter finish to talk to each other and decide to take your order!!
Warning: Everything here is delicious! Must haves: Carrot cake, all expensive cookies. Almond cheesecake and Flan. Order it for a party. So deliciously fresh.
Great to have a real bakery in the neighborhood. I’ve been impressed with the quality and freshness. The area residents know a good thing when they taste it.
Tried the flan, which was dense and not too sweet, exactly the way I like it. I bought mini pistachio cheese cakes as a gift and they were really good also.
They make the best pastries and thier cheesecakes are delicious. I highly recommend you stop by and try them out. You'll definitely get your money's worth.
BEWARE Lety's bakery is ADDICTIVE!! Pistachio cookies, Black Raspberry mini cheesecake's,, Best Carrot cak in Queens! Berry napoleon, Shut up! Crazy good!
Best bakery in queens! Family owned business and they have the best pastries and cakes not to mention the staff is so sweet! I never leave disappointed.
The location is very cute and has seating available. The staff is very nice and the pastries are very good. I would definitely recommend visiting.
I called & asked if they make custom cakes & they told me they do. I sent them a pic of what I wanted & was quite disappointed when I picked up.
Lety’s has a huge selection of stuff, and the staff there is really friendly. Highly recommend grabbing any of their cheesecake options.
Friendly, good customer service, awesome goodies. They take cards min 10.00 worth it . I stuffed face with 2. …
large selection of bakery, pastry, cake items. Coffee is great. It is cozy place where sometime people have to be in que to get items.
Tried the flan cheesecake and regular cheesecake. I don't know what these other reviews are talking about, they taste completely.. eh.
Great Bakery! Strawberry shortcake was not to sweet (this is what we like) and flavors amazing! Just outstanding! Definitely be back!
Very nice ladies. Came here for the lobster tails and flan cheesecake! They did not disappoint. Both are excellent! Worth the trip!
The cheesecake is delicious. However, there is too much sugar on the otger pastries. When New York is reducing sugar consumption.
Awesome bakery grabbed a 7 inch tiramisu cake from them for a party and everyone loved it should of taken a before pic lol.
Very tasty Flan And cheesecake - very special and tasty. Only compliant is the bland name. It should be called a Flanchee.
Incredible selection of cakes and cookies. I got the oreo cheesecake, the mango mousse, and the raspberry mousse. So good!
Coffee, treats & ice cream! Yum yum good and not for those watching their diet. However if you’re like me come and get it.
A gem. No need to schlep to Veniero's. Oh the ricotta cheesecake!

Best flan I've had! Soft but firm and creamy. Just perfect. And tastes even better with a cup of Lety's Cafe con Leche.
Best flan in queens, possibly the best in NYC. Their coffee is great too, but I almost always just come for the flan ;)
Beautiful desserts, clean place, friendly staff. Dare I say: one of the BEST cheesecakes I have ever had! …
Best flan in Queens. Fair price points. Mini fruit tarts are perfect treats for a on your way back from bakery.
Lovely bakery, great food and quiet. Quite small so it can be hard to get a table but great apart from that.
Love this place!! Ordered the strawberry cheesecake and cannoli's and they were fabulous! Good coffee too!
This is a good spot to satisfy you taste buds, you may sin and I love their carrot cake. Be good Lety
Absolutely the best Flan cake in New York. Must go and get some delicious Italian cookies and cakes.
Excellent quality and variety. Small seating area & high sales volume, so more conducive to takeout.
Delicious brownies and cheesecakes are okay The rainbow cookies are so good ! Fresh bakery
Love this local bakery especially during the holidays with pumpkin pies and apple pies
. The cakes are delicious. Most stuff is freshly made. Prices are reasonable
