"Queen Victoria gifted these monuments to various places Lewisham was one, a nice focal point to meet up visible from most roads, the restoration has been done in a in- keeping way makes it look amazing, nice bit of history to look at while you wait for bus or just passing, hope it stays for ever in same location"
"It's a clock tower nothing special"

It's a clock tower nothing special.... it was moved several hundred yards from original spot in Lewisham years ago when redevelopment started. I must admit when I was little I would always knock that knocker on the clock tower door hoping somebody would answer! I had visions of little midgets in there!
J'aime cette place de Lewisham, me promener dans le marché, luncher à l'un des petits restaurants avoisinants, faire mes courses au Shopping centre .. ou prendre un bus direction Greenwich, Battersea Park Station ou Shoreditch
Needed to use the Post Box close to the clock tower. The tower is the well known landmark at the start of the High Street, showing everyone the start of a couple of rows of great shops and the entrance to the shopping centre.
Lewisham clock tower is more like a landmark for people travel from Kent to London, no one can literally miss a way here. Although it's busy, traders, buses and cars, but there are bus stations with directions here.
A nice place, quiet and inspiring in the morning, later on it gets busy and loud, but very social. This including people fundraising, praising Jesus, or the classic that we love, "pound a bowl!" :)
Beautiful architecture, very significant symbol in Lewisham. Most importantly, the clock still works.

I grew up around the clock tower and as a boy it was clean White stone clock tower, today it looks awful very discoloured full of mould looks left rot & decay not good..
Lewisham market is the best place to buy fruit & veg for really cheap. Usually is £1 a bowl, but if you buy a bigger amounts you can bargain.
Convenient when you want to know the time

I love to do the grocery shopping for the week, since their prices are low and of quality. Many buses arrive at the place
All I’m asking is why? Why do I need to review this? Don’t really like Lewisham. Avoid at all costs if you ask me.
Looking lovely but it keeps taking days off I do hope it isn't costing Use when it's not working …
Where is the clock? trees and a bunch of food stands cover the tower. It smells bad around.
Around this area is where all your fruit and veg stalls. Shop around you get a bargain.
Great clock, tells the time, stands tall - an important part of the Lewisham dream
Good meet up point with friends if have to meet them where a known place is
Great historical monument, although very badly looked after by the council.
Right at the centre of Lewisham shopping centre a beautiful landmark
It's a tower with a little door, and a gremlin lives inside
Great monument place, surrounded by a town center.
