"Lewisham DLR is the last stop on the line its a average DLR station"
"It's Lewisham, exceptionally busy with commuters, shoppers etc"
"Great interchange between British Rail, DLR, the last ones still in Zone 2 and Buses, also very close to a great variety of shops and restaurants in the High Street and the Lewisham Shopping Centre and adjacent to the largest Police Station in Europe!"
1. Why do I need a timetable if DLR trains when I'm walking up the stairs to take a train and leaving DLR platform? Did anyone ever though that a screen with train schedule would be more appropriate instead? 2. For goodness sake, when the layout of touch in / touch out stations would be reworked? So crowds moving in opposite directions would stop blocking each other?
They have faulty touch in cards/oyster posts. Third time I’ve tapped in here and it doesn’t show in my journey only my touch ins from a diff station. All I get is ‘oh sorry’. Then they deliberately increase inspectors on DLR, I defo think this is a deliberate money making scheme. Cameras don’t lie don’t ever try overcharge again, disgusting.
Lewisham DLR is the last stop on the line its a average DLR station. Trains are on time and is a good service from here. It can be busy sometimes trains go from here to Canary Wharf. Also you can interchange with National rail services the bus station/ bus stops are right outside.
It's Lewisham, exceptionally busy with commuters, shoppers etc. Parking is excessively expensive if you drive. It is what it is. Plenty of shops and a daily open market so a good place to shop if you don't mind the crowds. Good train and bus routes in and out.
Great interchange between British Rail, DLR, the last ones still in Zone 2 and Buses, also very close to a great variety of shops and restaurants in the High Street and the Lewisham Shopping Centre and adjacent to the largest Police Station in Europe!
Frequency of trains at 3:00PM was unbelieveable. The trains were departing very quickly too in order for the other trains to come in.
Frequent arrivals and departures makes for a less cramped and altogether jollier travelling experience.
Not much connections to the centre of London, only to Bank. Can be useful in some occaisons.
Lots of great shops and restaurants around this area. Buses and cabs is always available.
Walk straight on a train to the city
Convenient DLR station for me.
DLR doors are so fast
Clean and safe
