"*WINTER CITY REVIEW* Although there werent many people when i visited with my family the attractions are few and the area for toilets has no lighting so you're peeing in the dark ( if you happen to be there after 4pm)"
"Went too Leyton for first time for a wedding and had a great time brilliant shops and amazing markets for just about everything that you need shame about speed restrictions but I understand as people just walk in traffic and the paying for Parking near your own home woooow I would have gone on the train but it was expensive as there was four of us travelling I would still go again as sooo much too see and met some very nice people I'm looking forward too going any recommendations on places too stay in Leyton would be great thank you LEYTON LONDON "
"Basketball court has flood lights however, they don’t come on, which makes no sense as a outdoor basketball court should have working flood lights"
Right, several years ago this used to be a large field with very little for anyone to enjoy, but now, oh wow, its a really pleasant and rich of activity lovely park. It's split in many spaces/sections and it has most of the amusements you would find in a modern park, such as, a fenced space for little children to play, a pirate wooden boat for older children, an open gym for anyone to use with a good number of machines, it has a large parking space, a lovely local café with food and coffee for everyone to enjoy, at the other side, a large field with a basketball pitch for everyone. But it doesn't ends here, if you adventure yourself, the park extends even more on to another large field, then you can choose, there are several ways to get to the other park spaces, one of them goes along Orient Way where they transformed this passage in a pleasant walk rich of small trees and flowers, and when you reach the end, you'll end up into a new park space where, there are modern football pitches, and few more sport activities such as a fantastic new beach volley pitch. I mean what can you ask more from a local park? I'm sure you'll find something to enjoy on whatever you fancy to do☺️
It is hard to rate a bit of green space in any meaningful way here. I'm not sure what people googling parks want to find. For a start, it isn't really worth traveling to visit. There's a large, enclosed, outdoor activity area for toddlers. A few minutes walk takes you to a large expanse of flat space. Theres a foot/cycle path, not sure there is a public toilet, perhaps in the community café place or the Ive Farm centre? A nice place in the summer if you're local but nothing special that would make it a destination venue, unless you have toddlers...tho I'm not sure about toilet facilities, there must be something?
*WINTER CITY REVIEW* Although there werent many people when i visited with my family the attractions are few and the area for toilets has no lighting so you're peeing in the dark ( if you happen to be there after 4pm). Also the online site says "save money and buy tokens up front" however the only option is 50 tokens and this is far too many. Unfortunately our fun time out was ruined by a pick pocketed who stole from my sons ruck sack. People please be aware- there's no security so hold on to your valuables including children's things- this REALLY spoiled our experience

Basketball court has flood lights however, they don’t come on, which makes no sense as a outdoor basketball court should have working flood lights. What’s the point of putting them there if they’re not going to be used. Poor accountability to wildlife, none working fountain that hasn’t been working for YEARS. Basketball court hasn’t been taken care of for years. Roots growing underneath the court, uneven surface. PUBLIC BASKETBALL court BOOKED for OTHER ACTIVITIES. That’s like me booking a tennis court for dance. Overall the park gets neglected!!!
Very nice park with alot of different things to do play area basketball court and even a cafe
Playground
There is a nice sized playground and also on the field a large boat that features a slide pipe and lots of climbing stairs and ropes and also ledges
Restrooms
There are restrooms in the cafe
Dog-friendliness
Lots of open space perfect for dog ♀️ walking
Picnic area
Picnic tables are scattered around the open space and also near the cafe/ car park there is also large open grass area
What a lovely open Park this is for children. There is a great construction of a ship in which, and on which children can run, climb and play. In addition in another area there are lots of climbing frames, swings, etc to keep children happy. It was also helpful to have a cafe at the park so that one could have coffees, lunches, ice creams etc. There is also a loo attached to the cafe but sadly only one so it can be rather busy. Ideally they need more than one toilet but one is better than none.;0)))
Kids really love this park, tucked away with a little car park with free parking for 3hrs. Big field to run around and 3 play areas, little kids and then juniors and a static adult gym area. Lovely cafe with a toilet upstairs and lots of crafting things for the kids and wooden kitchen toys and books. Cafe has inside and outside seating and are very reasonably priced. Lovely coffee and home made cake . Toasties and rolls etc. Kept clean and tidy by the staff. It is a cashless cafe.
Nice big park opposite to Leebridge road Aldi. I didn't know there was a park before.. I'm super glad that I found this amaizing green park. There is a large area specially for kids and a football Court too. If you like to do some running or cycling this one is suitable. They have arranged some benches, so it's so good to sit and relax.
Playground
Playground for football and kids play area.
Dog-friendliness
People are using this park for training their dogs.
mate i literally almost died from one of the playground things. it was this tight rope almost thing and as it’s soooo unstable i lost my balance and the rope burned me on my arm and my thigh, thankfully it didn’t go all the way up but i am now scarred for life. please make it more stable imagine if i was a two year old that’s permanent damage. i may have to sue, how much money will you give me? No thanks, -Amelie
large(ish) kid playground including a very decent size boat, tennis courts and fields. You havs a cafe at the etrance .with a carpark on the left of it. That is if you g3t there from Church Street because the road on the side of the park, i think (and i didnt check) is for resisent and work and the other entrance is so if you have a ccome from church strrt e17 side and you ll have the cafe carpark on your left
Really really nice park with fantastic playground with obstacles for children to enjoy and exercise area with bodyweight equipment for the public to use. In open play area the is a massive ship shaped obstacle play area and a dragon shaped swing and there is a football pitch sized gated area with swings and slides for parents with smaller children or many children they want to be aware of.
Nice park for all age groups. My kids always make friends and never have any complaints. Has a very big pirate ship which all the kids like to play on, exercise area for adults and kids , basketball, football areas also smooth paving for skateboarding and rollerskating. Nice area of grassland. The only downfall is the fact that there isn't any toilet facilities.
Nice open area for kids to play. There's a basketball court and a football. There is a school right next to the field so they do leave the goal post set up but you may need to bring your own just in case they do take it down. But overall a nice park. Not to sure about if you're allowed to BBQ however I have seen it happen and there have been no issues
It's an expansive park with trails circling the whole swath of land for a good jog, or just a leisurely walk. By the entrance is a nice snack house followed by a parking area. You often see families and youths enjoying some of the park facilities like the open gym, children's playground, basketball court, etc.
It's such a big park!!! And tugged away from the high street (lea bridge road) and lots of green space too so plenty of space for picnics and football games. They have small baby areas, to young toddlers, to older toddlers. And pretty clean overall. Easy bus routes and also aldi nearby. Perfect spot!
Riverside Park has a lot of potential, but it could use some more maintenance. The riverfront views are lovely, and there's a nice walking path. However, some of the picnic areas need attention, and the restroom facilities could be cleaner. With a little more care, this park could be fantastic.
It was my first time to the park yesterday. Luckily there was a parking space, they have a very small car which you can park for free within 3 hours. Big area and facilities for kids to play with, my nephews enjoyed their time there, and so did the adults. A very clean and peaceful park!
A lovely park, truly huge! Plenty of space to let the dogs run free. There's a decent cafe too. A massive play area for the kids and an outdoor gym for us big kids. If you walk far enough, you'll enter the Ives Farm area, which has pitches and a sand volleyball Court.
Lovely park with structures for all kids to play with. There are lots of physical activities for adults as well. Limited seating structures so walk with your chair or blanket to sit. Great riding space. There appears to be a Pub but I cannot rate as I did not use it.
Was a nice wildlife retreat in East London before the council got it in its cross-hairs and decided to create a huge Park for people and chase most of the wildlife away. Couldn't the council have shared this space with nature, rather than sanitising the whole plot?
This park is a hidden beauty!!!!! I've been down this road many times and never knew a park was there until I was invited to an outdoor birthday party, I was amazed. The park is so massive and beautiful, I definitely will be visiting again, my kids had endless fun.
Really surprised at the size and amenities offered here. Has two easy-to-get to entrances. Lots of places to walk through, and a decent sized play area as well. If you can, drop by the nearby Aldi, pick up one food and drinks, and have a nice picnic at the park
Great range of things for kids to play on and with. Loads of green space for picnics/football etc . Parking area is handy but very tight. Only thing that's lacking are toilets. There is one in the cafe but it was closed when we were there recently.
We have been coming here for a few years to walk our dogs. Over the past year the council has been trying to update park facilities. There is now a good parking area and picnic tables. Overall a good improvement, there are now more paths
This is a really good park, whether you’re there with kids, walking the dog, going for a run or whatever. Two well designed playgrounds; one enclosed and for younger kids, one designed like a giant pirate ship. Football pitches, a
Jubilee park is a gem for the Leyton community! Nice open green area with loads to explore for little and not so little ones. The cafe is a bonus for drinks, coffee and toilet. The food is not great but we can't have it all :).
Excellent parking (free) and play facilities for families. Very well designed for those wanting to participate in 8-a-side football or beach volleyball or just cycling/walking. Very well designed. Located just off the A12.
Very Nice park with big green areas and multiple play areas for children including a lovely boat and sport équipments for adults and children. This was a great discovery. Parking for 3 hours. Will definitely come back :)
Great park where you and your children can spent day out. Big ship and other claimings things for small explores, basketball court, open space for playing football and other activity. Near is great coffee shop, toilet.
Lovely park great for 2-3 year olds. This park has green open space and wide range of activities. Climbing frames, swings, slides, activity centre, cycling classes (Saturday every 2 weeks), multiple swings and slides.
Such a great park - playgrounds for all ages and lots of green space. Parking usually available by the cafe.
Restrooms
Kukulala is a great cafe - support by buying something and you can use their facilities
Large well maintained park with warm up track, volleyball track, toilet facilities, basketball court and even an area for learning with ride free of cost for relatives under the cycle confident scheme.
Very different to what it used to be (in a good way). Has multiple activities for kids including a pirate ship play area, different slides and a basketball court. Enough to keep you busy for a while.
Nice large clean green space. I usually come here with a friend on our bicycles for excercise . Great for walking cycling and dog walking . Can be little quiet in the winter months as with any park
The kids love it here. Great play areas and well spaced out. Lots of space to run around. The café is okay, which is a shame as being able to get a nice coffee here as well would be great.
A very large park within leyton area. I could explore it due to Walthamforest Mela 2019. Council should manage to make its access more easy by displaying more sign posts on the main road
Poo, poo everywhere it is a pity because the playground was very fun and the crickets sounded peaceful.
Playground
The playground was very fun as it was big and open.
Great facility for families and the neighbourhood. Huge oasis for those wanting to get away. Exercise facilities and super-sized kids play area
Restrooms
At the cafe
Great place to unwind with kids or have a picnic with the family. There so much empty grass areas utilise the way you want. But there's no wet play area like other places.
Nice open space with a cafe. Slightly intimidating youths about but I am sure they would keep themselves to themselves
Picnic area
Behind the cafe. Good tables
It was amazing. A lot of space to run, play ball, to fly a kite. Even if you are an adult, you'll find something to do. We had great time here. Hope you will too.
This place is really nice, with something for everyone... Kids will have loads of fun here. Parking wise, 3.25 per 1 hour or 7.10 for up to 4 hours.
A large family orientated park with several large open grassy areas, two children's play structures, a newly planted forest and basket ball court.
Nice park and been updated since I last came here ..only thing wish they had more benches or tables near the pirate ship so parents can sit down
