Fantastic liquor store on Revolucion Ave. I have always enjoyed their recommendations on some of the smaller label, high-end tequillas and mezcals. If you're looking for the mass-produced tequillas the prices will be better at the Sorianna Supermarket down the street. What sets Leyva's apart is their expert knowledge on the lesser known tequilla brands. You can have a free tequilla sample while you browse their amazing supply of tequillas and feel at home without the high-pressure sales of some of the other shops on Revolucion. I highly recommend trying something new and different from here that you can't buy in the states.

Tourist trap! Don't buy liquor from there.. they sell everything expensive.. YES they sell it slightly less than the states.. but by a few dollars.. it's not worth going in there.. and when I asked why was it so expensive the man got mad .. literally around the corner. There is another liquor store who by the way is still kinda pricey. BUT half the price less than leyvas.. and they have everything you need .. I don't remember the name but it's on the other side of the same block..

This is indeed a paradise for the tequilla lover. They have tequila, mezcal, and agave drinks from several other regions. I learned more from Jose( the evening guy) in half an hour than i did in full day classes for my job back home. Amazing. And he has some incredible, rare bottles that ar of course never exported from mexico. I personally found a new favorite. The problem being i know of exactly 1 place that sells it...

I knew next to nothing about tequila before coming here - I just knew I wanted a bottle I couldn't buy back in the US. The selection was overwhelming at first, but the owner? was very patient and helpful. He explained the three types of tequila and how to drink them. And when I asked for his suggestion he pointed me to one he said was his favourite to drink at home. It didn't disappoint.

We went there on a Cultural Tour of Tijuana on 6/19/22. The owner offered us samples then highly recommended an off-brand of tequila. We trusted him. However, when we got back to our hotel we realized it was half of the normal alcohol content, basically trash. see the image. Dishonest guy, I DO NOT recommend.

Gilbert the owner knows his tequila! He's very knowledgeable and very friendly! He allowed free and unlimited sample shots which helped me choose what I wanted. This was our second visit and we will definitely return for me!!!! Gracias Gilberto!!

Was there as part of a tour. The owner is dishonest. He pushed us into a low grade tequilla, Highly recommending it, we should not have trusted him. Basically flavored water with a small amount of tequilla. Stay away!

Wonderful store with a stupendous selection of spirits. Proprietor was super helpful and helped me find exactly what I was looking for, with a few tastings to narrow down the tequila styles.
