An amazing bookstore. Very accessible by mass transit as it sits smack dab in the Mariachi Plaza in East LA a few steps away from the Gold Line Station -- if you're in Little Tokyo for sushi you can hop on the Gold Line at Alameda and 2nd and then be instantly transported to book heaven! Libros Schmibros is not only a "bookstore", but a lending library too! They lend books to the local residents for free, just like a library, and are a great local resource for books in Spanish & English. I personally had been looking for a couple of books down in my community in the South Bay with no luck, and wouldn't you know it -- they had both! Great ambience, Great staff and great location!
