I loved it. First of all the spa is situated in a high-end building, Empire Towers in Sandton. Secondly, they're just pleasant to deal with. When I called to book the first time, I had to move my appointment twice and they were so understanding, zero qualms whatsoever, and that put me at ease. On the day I was finally making my way, u was running late and they were still very accommodating and pleasant to deal with by moving my appointment to later. Arriving at the spa, it was naturally quiet and rather quaint (I'm not complaining really). They have a lovely view of Sandton CBD out back which you can enjoy on a recliner if you have the time. They also offered me a delectable glass of champagne which I loved! Their water tasted like tap water so I'm not so crazy about that, but as long as Sandton water is safe to drink I'm not complaining. The treatment room I was in was the best looking spa room I've ever seen. You know how it is at spas, the rooms are not entirely aesthetically pleasing, they're built for function. This spa however installed some light neon lighting in the walls, as well as a calming screen that plays soothing visuals like jellyfish in water. Hehe, you think some of these things are trivial but when you take note of them it actually increases your happy hormones. Down to the treatment: Hmm! It's been a while since I've been to the spa so my body was definitely not comfortable, especially with the built up tension in my shoulders so I enjoyed the massage. However, there were moments where I couldn't decide if the pressure was getting harder or I was just going through a lot Either way, I can't fault the lovely masseuse tbh. I did have some soreness a day after my massage though, but that went away the following day so all is well. Would I recommend this place? Yeah, I'd love to bring some friends here in future. They were just so pleasant man. There's something enticing about great service that makes want to be loyal to a place. Great work from the team.

I went in for a massage and facial. Receptionist (Loureen) was great from the phone booking to the actual visit. The therapist was personable. I enjoyed the body massage. However someone tried opening the door when the massage started. A paper or something was slipped under the door so the therapist paused the massage and opened the door to hand something over. Broken massage contact is a complete no no in my books. Facial was acceptable as high-end skincare products were used. My skin felt and looked super hydrated at the end. I can’t say the procedure itself was soothing and relaxing. Hand movements felt uncoordinated and the facial massage was definitely rushed. The spa could improve on soundproofing the treatment rooms as there was corridor movement. I could also overhear every conversation happening at the reception area throughout my 2.5hrs stay, particularly because my room was close by. No bathrooms in the rooms or the spa itself. One has to go out of the spa space to the bathrooms near the restaurant. Not far, but odd/not ideal especially in a robe. Overall it was a pleasant visit but not something that would draw me back. I would probably consider a manicure or something but not for a relaxation treatment. Overall rating: massage 7/10, the facial 5.5/10 with most of the marks being for the high quality products used. Oh, and my therapist said she would meet me at the front desk after I got dressed. I didn’t see her.

I have read fantastic reviews of this spa, and after the Coco Champagne Mani and Pedi I was left quite underwhelmed by it all.... It is so important for me to write a honest clear review. Both my therapists where excellent and did a lovely job on my hands and feet, the foot massage stood out and without a doubt give them a five star. It being advertised with a glass of "Champagne" emphasis on Champagne... I was given something very far from a good quality champagne but rather a sparkling wine that I could straight away taste and really could not finish. I think if you advertise a luxury product offering then you need to make sure to deliver on this 100% (all in all this specific detail left me really disappointed) I would have also thought that they would have toeless slippers for clients who have pedicures, but also not a option offered and being a Luxe Spa this should be something essential. I have read about the complimentary treats which I did not see but was offered a menu? I assume this was meant to be it- and wasn't explained to me by the receptionist which I assumed was a menu to order but not complimentary.... All in all, not a space I would return to in a hurry.

I recently visited Life Day Spa, and I must say, it was an amazing experience! The atmosphere was calming and serene, and the staff were attentive and friendly from the moment I arrived. The spa itself was beautifully decorated and clean. My therapist was skilled and professional and made sure to check in with me throughout the treatment to ensure my comfort. I highly recommend Life Day Spa for anyone in need of a pampering spa day. The top-notch services, beautiful atmosphere, and attentive staff make for a truly wonderful experience. I can't wait to go back!

In the past 3-4 months I have had to go back every other week because I have a chipped / broken nail. This one is from a treatment on Tuesday 30 November - I emailed the spa on Friday morning - no response. I emailed the owner Friday evening and she undertook to revert - I am still waiting. Am I expected to go to work tomorrow looking like this ? Don’t waste your money here ! Take it from me!

I arrived late but that was not a problem at all. I had myself a Deep Tissue massage by a beautiful lady called Amanda. I must emphasize that I've never had such a massage but I enjoyed it soooo much. Felt like a whole weight had been lifted off of my body. After the massage I was offered a drink and of course I had to go for a glass of bubbles Great experience had and worth every cent!

Wow what an amazing spa! Tsholo at front desk is simply the best, so helpful, from the time I called to make a booking to the day of the treatments. Booked 3 of Journey packages, with added gelish for my mum and sister. All 3 of us had super relaxing massages. Angel, Amanda, Dimie are excellent massage therapists, all with magic hands. Highly recommended!
