I had a Septoplasty surgery in Linacre hospital and stayed there one night. It was a great experience, streamlined admission, great service before/during/after, friendly staff, comfortable room etc. I had 5 nurses in the 24 hour I was there. Ju was my best nurse, she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, always willing to help, and was always there whenever I buzzed. Maree was also very good, she was my first nurse and was very nice and pro. I don’t think Pen had her best day, she always came late after I buzzed, didnt seem willing to help, while my bandage was full of blood, didn’t change my bandage etc (she was a nice person though, maybe she didn’t have her best day then). The food was acceptable overall. The kitchen staff brought my dinner at 5:30pm, I asked him to take it bk and bring in 30min, but he never brought it bk (also when he came to my room, I asked him a couple of questions but he didn’t answer properly and was just rushing to finish quickly). Finally I got someone to bring my dinner from kitchen, surprisingly my soup seemed to be used and had hair in it. I still give Linacre a 5 out of 5 bcz the overall experience was very positive. I hope the two staff who didn’t have their best day during my stay, improve their customer service.

My son have a surgery today 28th April , i tried to rang up the hospital to ask about how it was going , the nurse said he is still at the theatre , so i said to her i will call again in one hour she said fine , then i called after one hour another nurse answered and said he is still at the theatre , i said ok i will call in one hour again , her respond was very rude to say we will call you when he is out of the surgery , and said we are too busy to answer , i said it's your duty to answer me ......so after my son was out of the theatre a nurse by the name of Justine called me to let me know the good news , she has an excellent approach and very supportive ...as a father waiting for my son to have a surgery with bleeding heart to know how's he going and to be dealt negatively with this nurse to say " we are too busy to answer you" in addition to that we are paying thousand of dollars for the operation , really she broke my heart by saying that , anyway i hope this nurse will change her attitude and improve herself more and follow Justine footsteps.

I have only used the pathology lab at Linacre Road Hospital, so this is not directed at the entire hospital itself. Within the pathology lab, the service, advice, treatment & care has been beyond appalling. It is always a burden to take my blood, as if I’m putting them out of their way. I have been a total of 5 times (and you may ask why?) it’s 200m from my house and, like to give places a chance. However, yesterday, I was once again told that I couldn’t have my blood done there and would have to go to Frankston. Not only was it said rudely it was also incorrect. Lo and behold, went to the clinical labs down the road and not an issue at all. I won’t be coming back but it’s important to share so others more vulnerable can be properly looked after. Happy to speak with a hospital representative.

Ultra Sound Great doctors and reception. Got talking to people about the googley eye graffiti artist they have who no one in the clinic knows who it is but the eyes have popped up everywhere. Cheers up my day. Surgery / overnight stay Had a great experience with all the nurses here evening nurses. Lauren and Narinda (Nurse in training) were awesome, really kind positive and fun. Bec and I think Jarryn? Had great banter while admitting me into the “VIP” room, really helped distract me from what was happening. I think it was Kim who was looking after me soon arrival and another nurse who helped wheel me over. I had a very pleasant experience with them also and a nice chat!

I had an incredible experience staying at Linacre. Even though most of my stay was spent in a not-so-great condition, I truly felt looked after and cared for. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and helped me out every step of the way. Special thanks to Simone who is an all round fantastic person. She heard each of my concerns and took them on board and made me feel like no reason was too silly to call. I felt I was in good hands from the start to finish of my stay. I will definitely consider staying here for further treatments. Thank you Linacre!

I really enjoyed my time at Linacre last week - as much as you enjoy being anywhere if you're having surgery! The staff were, without exception, delightful, helpful, kind and caring. I really liked having the names changed daily on the information board in my room and how time was taken to say hello at the start of shifts. I'm Coeliac but the range of food on offer for me was terrific. Varied and plentiful. Grateful for the coffee machine on our ward and access to snacks in the fridge if I was hungry outside of meal times. Thank you.

After arrival i was a tad nervous for surgery, staff have been the nicest of any hospital i’ve ever been to. Brendan Soo is my surgeon a very nice fella who makes you feel very safe and in good hands. Amazing staff, very clean comfortable rooms and the choice of foods i thought i was ordering at a restaurant (have not tasted yet though but sounded nice especially for hospital food) Can i move in . Thanks heaps linacre crew

My second visit to Linacre hospital over a 5 year period. Both times I have had positive experiences there. The staff, are without a single exemption the best that anyone could ask for. The staff seemed to be part of a large friendly type family rather than just people doing a job. Positivity, humor and professional care with a smile are just what's needed during what can be a stressful time . Thanks to all at Linacre.

Linacre 10 ⭐. The quality of service, patient care and highly skilled Practitioners sets a benchmark for a Private Hospital in Melbourne. From the greeting early morning at reception, through to Nursing staff on the Ward the staff were exemplary. The Practitioners, Mr Andy Hughes (Surgeon) and Dr Jonathan Nicholson (Anaesthetist) both gave a Master Class in Professionalism and patient support. Thank you.

Had my daughters tonsil and adenoids surgery conducted by Dr Anthony Rotman and anathetist Chris Moran. Both, lovely doctors. Patient and caring. Linacre, small hospital with caring staff. Nurses were great, extremely supportive. Nice , neat rooms with coffee amenities Ns vending machine. Lot of restaurants and coffee shops around.

I was quite worried for my operation and all the staff i spoke to from the minute i entered were so kind and caring, they all took time out of their busy day to make sure i was okay and assisted me in any way i needed before and after the operation. Lovely environment and i left very pleased with my time there.

I had hip replacement surgery. The staff at Linacre are amazing. Patient, caring and highly professional. Everything about this hospital is top notch. Food is delicious and adaptable to differing health needs. I enjoyed my time recouping at Linacre. Thank you.

Lovely professional staff (5 stars). One particularly rude front office staff member (1 star). My tip for her: try a bit of your own advice re: signs plastered around the hospital requesting that public treat staff with respect - it's a 2-way street lady!

  • Rob Jack

Clean and tidy, cheerful staff but they still kept my three children waiting despite specifically organising the first three appointments of the day. Why are medical “professionals” universally unable to keep appointments like the general population?

  • Ann Taylor

Was there only for day surgery. Friendly plesent staff on admissions. Friendly efficient nurses in ward. As it was my first time there, all went well. Found parking for extended period was a problem, no problem with just dropping off and picking up

  • abdi sadiq

Rude nurse specialy pooja and also poor reception staff and they charge you a lot of money for just 4 hrs hospital admission $4512 their just rip you off and not getting good hospitality they are worst hospital in Australia i cloud say be honest

  • Regine Karantzas

Such a wonderful place! Lovely facilities and terrific staff. We are here today with my 3 year old for an overnight stay and they organised a private room with 2 beds so I can stay with her. The nurses are so great with kids and friendly!

Private Hospital just off Hampton Street. Good for day procedures if you have private health cover of course! And has I-Med Radiology and Dorevitch Pathology inside. Very very limited on site parking.

  • Laurence Dreyfuss

Special mention about nurse Linda. She was caring and professional at all times. Made me feel confortable and at ease during my stay. Thank you for your care.
