The resort contacted us a day before our reservation, informing us of a plumbing issue in our room. They initially promised to fix it but failed to communicate promptly. When we reached out for updates, they informed us of further problems, eventually leading to the cancellation of the first night and then the whole reservation. Although they refunded our payment, the resort made no effort to compensate for the inconvenience or provide an alternative arrangement. The lack of effective communication and failure to promptly resolve the plumbing issues at Linden Garden left us stranded and unable to find an alternative accommodation for our special occasion. Moreover, the resort's lack of compensation for their shortcomings added to our disappointment. While unforeseen circumstances can occur, it is essential for establishments to handle such situations professionally, maintain open communication, and offer appropriate compensation to ensure customer satisfaction. I feel compelled to share my experience with others, so they can make informed decisions when choosing a resort. The management of Linden Garden should take this feedback seriously and make necessary improvements to their customer service protocols. Addressing these issues will ensure that future guests have a more positive experience and that such disappointing situations are avoided.”

I stayed in January with my partner for my Xmas gift, we were there about 2 hours before the power went out which meant we were not able to use anything (Even the spa as the hot water wouldn't work) the games they said they had were all missing pieces. It was freezing in the rooms as it was a day that had been raining for.hours but when we arrived every window was open. Also couldn't get the fire place to work. We had no privacy as 3 other people knocked on our door that night and morning asking if we also had no power. I understand that it's not there fault but we also have waited a few weeks to see if we were going to get reimbursed for anything. Haven't heard from them at all. If there was a number we could have called after hours to be told it would be down for 12hrs + we would have left and not spent the night bored in the dark. We also didn't receive the breakfast so it really was just a horrible experience! And would not recommend as they don't seem to care. Just as long as they get your money. Very disappointed

Recently stayed here for 2 nights and I can't recommend this place enough for a romantic getaway. We stayed in the sanctuary tower, and loved it. All the furniture is up to date and modern, the spa bath was incredible and so relaxing, the views, especially from the bedroom, are just stunning. The lounge room heater kept the place nice and toasty at all times, however there was an issue with the gas heater in the bathroom so it did get chilly on the bottom level but it didn't have much effect on our stay, and the staff were working on getting it fixed and very apologetic. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and of a decent portion, as well as the chocolate cake that was ordered for our arrival. It is nicely located close to the town, as well as many walking trails and attractions, however far enough out that you don't get all the tourist traffic. If you are looking for a modern place to stay that allows you to truly relax and unwind amongst nature this place is for you!!

I dont even know where to begin. If I give more than 5 star I would. Honestly the luxurious experiance I had has been above and beyond expectation. I will recommend this to everyone looking for retreat to enhance your love life and have complete satisfaftion. Jodie really is the number host I have ever interacted with. Anyone that is hesistant to book, please dont be as this is the most best place I have ever been, and I have been to the versace hotel in Queensland this beats it by a million. The best night and day and service I have ever experianced worth every dollar and more. Thank you Jodie for you continous support in planning this and having the most amazing extras to add on this beautiful experiance. Btw I chose the Sanctuary Tower. Wait till you come and see this amazing suite it is better than any photo can provide.

Great experience, stayed in the garden retreat the first night (Sat) and the Tower retreat the 2nd night(Sun). The cabins have a great cosy feel and the in room couple's board games were great way to relax and have fun with some nice food and drinks we grabbed at olinda IGA about 5/10mins drive away. Each cabin is completely different and having the massage on the Sunday where my partner and I received a hour long massage at the same time by 2 local professionals was great. The breakfast was simple but well executed and our dinner at the local Copperfield's restaurant was great. My partner said she loved it and thought it was better than our previous weekend getaways to other areas. Would highly recommend and will be planning more trips back in the future.

Disgusting. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!I tried to book 5 times she ignored my call because I wanted to book with air BnB? I had no more money, because of the stuff around with air BnB, and she refused to let me book through air BnB even though it was available. She ignored my calls so I called off another phone, and she answered. She just wanted to make more money through us booking through “her website” absolutely disgusting and poorly. There rooms are not even organised, as I wanted to book yesterday’s and she told me the bed was messy. How disgusting to ignore phone calls but then answer a different number making up a story? Then taking it off air BnB so she could make more money.

Lindens Gardens retreat truly deserves 5 stars. Everything was impeccable and we enjoyed our 1 night stay in the Gardens retreat room. Booking was extremely easy and so was the self check in. Upon arrival we were so delighted that everything was well organised and clean. The cheese platter that was pre purchased was fantastic. I loved the nice scent that the filled the whole room, it was a nice touch. The atmosphere and surroundings was beautiful and relaxing. It really is a place to unwind and relax. Highly recommend Lindens to anyone looking for a stress free and affordable b&b stay in beautiful Dandenong mountains.

I would give it 6/5 if I could! The Linden Cottage was stunning, clean, and all the details were well thought out. Everything was easy - from check-in, to breakfast ordering, to in room massages. No stress is how a holiday should be! Amazing place for a short or long getaway - only regret is not staying longer (we would have if not for work), but even just for a mini getaway it was perfect. I also think it was beyond reasonably priced for what it was. Cost effective and incredible? Even better! Will definitely be back and recommend that anyone reading this review books it immediately!

Stayed hear for our 11 year anniversary!! This is an awsome place to stay with easy self check in, very clean and private. Awsome big bed and super comfy. The breakfast was very nice but a little later than the time we listed it for. We had a few mishaps like our pre organised massage that we had paid for month's in advance had to be refunded as the didn't show up and then could only provide 1 time that didn't suit us. The heater in the lounge was not very warm and the DVD player and TV remote did not work in the bedroom. Apart from this it was a lovely weekend.

We stayed the 2nd to the 4th of December 2022, it was a beautiful surprise weekend away by my now fiance. Very clean and comfortable, surrounded by beautiful quiet forest, we stayed in the sanctuary tower and it was absolutely divine.. we had daily breakfast which was delicious, bed was very comfortable, spa and sauna were very relaxing and we even had a lovely in room massage for too. Highly recommend Linden Gardens and we'll definitely be back one day.

This is the second time we have stayed here and we will be coming back a third, fourth and fifth time. Its a beautiful place with friendly staff and clean, well kept cabins that feel very private, quiet and cosy. Perfect for couples. They cook your breakfast and deliver it to your cabin fresh, which is a lovely added touch that not many, if any, other places here offer.

Stayed here with a gf for a mums night away. The receptionist Jodie was very helpful securing us an in room massage prior to our stay when we were we not having much luck with salons around the area. This retreat is a hidden gem! It gave us a total feel of relaxation, breakfast was amazing, the views were gorgeous especially being Autumn season and the overall feel made us feel like we were away from the hustle bustle of busy Melbourne.

Stayed here for our anniversary. It was wonderful, I miss it Jodie is an amazing woman, very friendly and accommodating. Our Netflix wasn't working and she personally drove down to fix it. I felt bad but at the same time was extremely grateful. Pro tip for anyone reading this, when selecting breakfast options pick the French toast it is heavenly, the other options do not compare to it. Wish I had the recipe :(

Garden Retreat was AMAZING, spa was just devine. Staff were fantastic and very helpful. Breakfast was great, 100% recommend the Linden Big Breakfast, French toast was perfection. We greatly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back. Only thing I would like to see different is the parking. Didn't like leaving my car along the main road. Even at least paved and lined would be nicer than the drop down onto dirt along the road.

The Garden Retreat exceeded all of my expectations. Everything here is better than advertised, and we immediately felt relaxed. Couldn't recommend this place more for couples trying to get some rejuvenating time to themselves.

Really enjoyed my stay here; it was better than most 5 star accommodation I’ve stayed at. The bed was super soft, the minibar well stocked, multiple streaming services on the TV, a lovely spa bath, and a decent breakfast delivered to your door. The rainforest right outside the window is a stunning view while lounging in the bath, and beautiful to wake up to. I will definitely come back in the future.

We stayed in the Gallery Suite for my partners 30th birthday. From the moment we arrived it was a relaxing, soothing experience. The self check in meant we could arrive as we please. The room itself was faultless with all the amenities you could desire. My only regret is we didn't stay longer. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

The linden gardens rainforest was a lovely experienced shared with my girlfriend. It's located in the Dandenongs and is surrounded by lovely rainforests and cute little towns. The service there was amazing and everything was very clean and romantic. We would definitely go back there again

I must be very unlucky... I am writing this review as it's happening!!! It's 7.44 am and all i can hear is drilling and hammering. All i can say i will NOT be coming back her again. I wish i could post a video as it's happening . I am so disappointed and very angry.

Beautiful bb great area and gardens are magnificent. Only complaint was a critter scratching at the wall at some point in the night but all apart of the excitement of the bush. Highly recommend. Also nice a clean .
