Honestly i don't care if my teacher sees this but i feel very uncomfortable school despite that I've only been here for a term. I have grown up in a mainstream school and since being here my anxiety has gotten worse, i haven't learnt anything besides useless history things that to this day no longer matter and apparently there is a group of kids in my class talking behind my back. If your kids works well at these schools thats your experience not mine i personal dislike this school. Edit: it been a year or two since but the schools reputation is so fragile that they called my mum and asked her to take down my review.
A wonderful school with highly supportive and dedicated teachers who care about the student as an individual. Since moving from my previous school in year 9, my experience at Little Yarra Steiner School has been nothing but gratifying and fulfilling. Throughout VCE, my teachers supported me along the entire way, thoroughly preparing me for exam time. I am now currently studying a Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy & Economics at The Australian National University (ANU) in Canberra, and I owe a huge amount of gratitude to this school.
I went to this school from Kindergarten to Year 12, except for one year at a state school in Holland on my student exchange - this experience outside Steiner made me realise how incredibly lucky I was to attend LYSS. We were all seen for who we are, encouraged to flourish into our individual selves, taught by teachers who cared deeply for us, in a stunning environment with mountain views. LYSS has a special place in my heart, with so many fond memories. So many.
My daughter thinks this school is the best school in the world. Little Yarra Steiner School is a beautiful place for children to be nurtured and connect with nature. Children learn in a supportive and creative way. We are very grateful to be able to put our daughter at this wonderful school.
They sued me after I was bullied to the point of dropping out. I do not recommend it here at all. I was only here for year 5-6 and this is not cool at all. There is no support for students or families
We had a wonderful experience at Little Yarra Steiner School. An incredibly supportive school, excellent teachers, and the environment is beautiful. It is a gem in the Yarra Valley.
