Lloyds Bank is really getting worse every time I go there. I went to the branch because I have a problem wiring some money to the USA with my internet banking. As I walked into the branch and start making my way upstairs, where all the tellers are, a girl from the staff asked me if she could help, and before I could finish explaining what I needed to do, she told me “no-one can help you upstairs.” She asked me to sit down and joking a queue of 11 people to be served. While I was waiting, 2 girls walk in to deposit cash. The same girl stops them and tells them, again: “no-one can help you upstairs “, and she directs them to an atm where they could make the deposit. After not succeeding for about 25min, they went to ask the girl for help and she finally send them upstairs. Why waste people’s time like that? Ah yes, I didn’t do what I needed to do because by the time they could see me, I had to go to another appointment!

I had an appointment with Evanka at 3 pm. I arrived 20 minutes early after travelling 40 min to sort out my finances. On arriving I was greeted by a staff member and shown where to sit outside the office of the person I was seeing and told that she was just finishing up with a customer. After finishing with the customer she walked past me a few times and never acknowledged me at all. Later she came back with a Pret coffee and dissappeared into a back office, 40 minutes later I went back to reception and asked what was happening only to be told that she had now finished for the day. Why was I given this appointment when I phoned in? Why was I not told that I had no appointment when I arrived? How can any, supposedly senior staff member walk directly past you 3 or 4 times,knowing that you are waiting to see them AND SAY NOTHING. SOOO BAD EVANKA

The worst Lloyd brand I have ever been! After issue with them today I checked their reviews. Now it's all clear, many of you experience the same poor service from them. I went to update my details and they refused my document as in their opinion it was missing English version translated by solicitor. Document was issued buy highest body and had few languages translations including English. What was the worst - after asking where it said that needed to be translated by solicitor, guy replay 'I said'!!! Wow! Then young lady who was also serving me said in very sarcastic and arogant way 'bye'. None of them should be working in customer service. Other brand accepted document.

More often than not at least one of these ATM'S,has been rigged with a device that can swallow yourcard along with reading Everything on it including the pin number I've seen it happen so many times Even taken the reader from the front to give to the police (but they weren't interested) So people please be aware and careful there doesn't need to be no shady character hanging about anymore

Attempting to close a simple current account since the end of June. First by letter then by multiple calls. Was told the account had gone inactive and had to reactivated by calling a robotic number with account details. Robot said account now active. No contact from branch with progress. Received a lengthy change of address form which was completed and returned over a month ago. No other communication from the branch. No account statements.

This is the worst Lloyd brand ever. Even though their opening hour is 9-5, they decided to closed for 2 hours during lunch time, I came at 1:15. They didn’t even explain why they close for that time. Then the guy said to me come back anytime after 2:15 . So I came back at 4:15 and they said they already closed ??? , they won’t take customers I’m surprised they can still run business like this

This is my local Lloyds and I use the fast deposit machine every week. Over a period of 3 months its been broken on 8 visits. The staff just keep on lying saying things like "its only just broken down" or "its usually working". I then have to deposit the money at a counter upstairs and there is always a queue because they are sooooo slow!!! Infuriating.

Came 3 times for the same issue they struggle to resolve (putting money back in my account...) and the service is each time extremely slow with multiple people queuing and only one open cashier. Insane that a business is allowed to run so badly! Try to not open an account with them!!

Took two days to post temporary closure online. Even after all this time Lloyds clearly does not have a system to keep its customers informed of Covid closures.. While writing: I have yet to discover what is the purpose of the staff on the ground floor

Appalling customer service: an account upgrade requires an appointment and appointments are routinely cancelled and rescheduled without customer consent. If you don't need in branch services it's best to move on to one of their better competitors.

Queued 40 minutes today to deposit some cash. The machine had broken down and the place was packed with customers. After 40 minutes queuing I gave up and deposited in metro bank within 1 minute. This bank always has very slow service.

1 hour wait to deposit cash. The branch is under staffed and only has one cash deposit machine. The wait time is always ridiculously long. The staff are nice and doing their best but the facilities are not helping.
