I came here because the stylist Bridgette was nice at first so I eventually came to get my hair done, I got a wig done with the super curly hair that I purchased here and the hair wasn't so great. You have to pay a $50 deposit to hold your appointment and The day I got my hair done I had to wait for her over an hour then she charged me $50 on top of the $100 balance because the wig was going to be made the same day . And when I asked for my hair to get braided she charged an additional $25 which was really sloppy braids.. so total was $225! The hair turned into like an Afro curl as she put the wig on and when I asked how I should treat the hair she told me not to use moose because it will dry the hair out.when she finished the wig I felt the wig was to fluffy like a Diana Ross look. Which was not the look I was going for so she put MOOSE on it!! After she told me not too! being that there was like 4 bundles of hair in the wig I called the shop and asked if I can come in at 6:30 to have the wig fixed and take some of the tracks out and also because the wig felt loose after only 2 days . When I got there the receptionist Zee whatever her name is told me Bridget was not there. So I was really disappointed because I called ahead and for them not to tell me she wasn't there was not cool. I start complaining about what A stylist from their Harlem location who told me not to bleach the hair how I normally did and instructed me to put coconut oil on the hair prior to dying and use 30V instead of the 40v because I would damage the hair. The damn hair never took color they way I wanted she didn't know what she was talking about I had to buy dye back and fourth spend more money! All of a sudden Bridget walks up from the back and I was so confused as to why the receptionist told me she wasn't there like that was really petty because I'm not a hostile client and I have spent plenty of money as she acted like she did not want to fix the wig and gave me these evil look for no reason. Like I was even going to pay her for her time so I didn't see what the problem was, so I just took the wig and left. I didn't feel valued as a customer and will never return nor buy hair from here ever! I guess they are just looking to make a quick dollar instead of having repeat clientele because I was honestly going to go back but no thank you! I don't need their attitude , I tried to support a black owned business but looks can be deceiving good luck to you Lola it's your loss not mines. And my peoples will not come here neither.

First let me just start by saying I KNOW HAIR! I've been getting my hair done for YEARS!! & I am not new to the business, with that being said I give this hair 1 star & that's only because in order to write a review you have to give it a star smh ! When I first entered the store I was greeted by 2 young ladies, their hair was DISGUSTING! One girl was heavy set and tall and she had a sew in with a leave out , well hunny it was noticeable !!! her leave out literally sat on top of her head like a birds nest and she had these horrible gold streaks it was just a mess that should have been my time to exit but still I remained calm , the other young lady had a wig on and it was just as bad if not worse, it was lop sided and looked like she just rolled out of bed, they were nice so I figured I'd give them the benefit of the doubt, I asked her a few questions and made up my mind about what hair I wanted, while purchasing a few other ladies came from out of the back , I'm assuming there's a salon back there because they offer $ 99.00 sew ins , but all 3 girls hair were horrible they all looked like they rolled of bed with dry tangled hair and just didn't care, it was sad. I got my hair installed the next day and for the first 4 days it was flawless. Then the shedding began and the tangling :( I never put any type of hair products In my hair I get a weekly wash n set at the salon and wrap my hair every night and the nights I don't I still have silk bedding so my hair is always pretty much good , but for some reason I noticed the hair is becoming stiff and oily as if I applied some type of oil or hair sheen and I did none of the above . After a wash the hair so knotted and unmanageable it's really sad! With out the blower and dyer I'd be out of luck smh. The hair sheds horrible and it's just not good. This hair is horrible and don't even waste your money! I should have known by the terrible hair styles in their OWN shop to save my money but it was last min and I needed my hair done. Never again !

If you care about your image this is not the hair company for you! This hair is horrible. It doesn't even deserve one star, if i could give zero stars I would! Before installing the hair sheds like a dog and tangles. Before writing this review i contacted the company five times to see if they would make an effort to accommodate me since i spent so much money on the hair. I was told that I could absolutely not get a refund but I could come in and exchange the hair. Keep in mind I paid an additional hundred dollars for a closure from another company and then 130 dollars to install the hair and had to take it out that same week. Everyone in the store will try to act like they don't see your hair shedding and tangling and will advice you to use their serum and silicon mix. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! I deep conditioned that hair 3 times in 5 days and it did not work!!! They did allow me to exchange the bundles for different hair but what i got ended up being worse. Today I am still waiting for their new shipment since they refuse to give me my money back. WHEN YOU SEE LOLA'S HAIR RUNNNNNNNN !!!!!!!!

I had the absolute worst experience at lolas. The owner is super nice and is all about taking care of his customers but it seems like his workers need better training. I recently visited the shop to purchase hair and also get my hair done. I made an appointment at the Flatbush salon. Not only was my appointment not booked, but I also waited 3 hrs for someone else from a different lolas salon to show up to do my hair. Well that never happened because the hair stylist went to a totally different location. It was beyond upsurd. It normally would not have been a huge deal but I was pressed for time as I was visiting from California and only had about 2 days left to visit with my family in NY. So the whole experience was upsetting and unfortunate, especially since I had such high hopes for the black owned company. The hair I purchased was okay. There was nothing spectacular about it. I hate leaving such a bad review because like I previously said, the owner was very professional and nice. However the service and quality of hair was also very mediocre. -A very unhappy customer.

DO NOT BUY THIS HAIR!!!!. When I first saw this store I was happy to see a hair store in my neighborhood that was different from all the other beauty supply selling hair. In addition that I met the owner and was really impressed by her, and wanted to support the business. Worst decision ever. I bought the bundles and the closure as well as the recommended shampoo and conditioner that's listed on the flyer that comes with the hair, which was all useless. The hair sheds and tangles like crazy. Everywhere I go I leave a trail because of the shedding. In my car , at my desk at work, in my bathroom, just everywhere .On the first day of wearing the hair it was a tangled the nape There are no word to describe how horrible this hair is. Please save your self the headache and do not buy this hair. It is garbage. One star was too much for this company it should be no star.

Someone recommended me to come purchase bundles from this place. I asked for Malaysian bundles and I ended up with Indian. It wasn’t even a full week yet when the hair started shedding , getting tangled up and puffy. It looked like I had pack hair in my head after I spent a lot of money thinking I was getting good quality hair was a big disappointment!!! Never again!!! They should be ashamed!!! What a ripoff!!! This hair suppose to last for a year and it didn’t even last for a week!!

The worst of worst of the worst hair !! I bought 3 packages of the Peruvian Hair and my hair dresser did not want to use it because she said it was not the best quality looking hair I told her to use it on me she did my hair May 23, we are now in July not even 2 months in and Judge yourself (Picture inserted) and not because I did not take care of it because trust me I did. Just the hair they sell here is trash unfortunately. Should have paid attention to the other reviews.

This hair is horrible! I spent like 460 bucks on the Malaysian body wave And lace closure the hair sheds like crazy and is super tangled after just 2 weeks! I was very upset because I spent all this money and it was just money wasted Snob hair is way better and glitzy u will be doing hair reviews on my YouTube channel but yeah save ur money and go to a better hair source the girls were very nice so the customer service is good not excellent but good but the product SUCKS!!

I've been using Lola's hair for over a year & so far I have no complaints ! I will recommend the Indian body wave I've purchased 3 bundles 18,20,22 & I can wash, bleach, curl, & flat iron my hair whenever. Buying hair at Lola’s is always a great experience. Went in to get my 3 bundles of Malaysian hair yesterday. Not only are the prices reasonable, but the store associates are so helpful and the hairs are great quality. I use my bundles multiple times a year and only purchase fresh bundles once a year!!! Lola's hair is amazing. I went to the store and the lady was so helpful and nice. I really needed my hair done for prom and graduation and Lola's hair did'nt fail me. The hair was so soft and nice, no funny smell. My ony tip will be not to cut the weft, and take care of the hair by washing with sulfate free products.

I bought three bundles of the Indian body wave in eighteen inches and the hair was amazing!! The hair lasted four months which is the long time I've had a sew in before and the hair kept up very well. When washing the hair the curls pop out beautifully. Will recommend and will purchase again .
