Such a shame, I’ve loved this store for many years but I doubt if I’ll be coming here anymore because it’s changed. The last three times (at least) they were out of their own refrigerated Alfredo sauce which I absolutely love. They also sell my favourite cranberry or blueberry quinoa muffins which they are continually out of. In fact the display and their bakery department looked fastly different than it did in the flyer. There was only one cash register opened and I waited far too long. The last time I was told I only had a few things so I could go to the customer service checkout counter. Then they told me I could use the self check out and I said I will never use them. They wasted 10 minutes trying to talk me into doing their job for them. I can’t imagine I’m the only one that has noticed this store going downhill over the last little while. Very disappointed.

I have started going to my local Longos every other Tuesday, I live in a senior building and Longos provide a transit bus to go round a few senior buildings to pick us up to do our shopping, as I love shopping at Longos it works out perfectly for me. They even provide us with a coffee and cookies so you get to visit with people from other buildings which is really nice, keep up the good work Longos. We also have 2 really nice young ladies who help us getting off and on the bus and help us with our shopping trolleys and bags. Thank you again Longos.

A very nice store. Its location is right in the middle of the city. It is very close to the Mapelwiev shopping center. There is no parking problem. There is a very large parking lot. Vegetables and fruits are always available fresh. You can see the employees constantly arranging the shelves. The discount aisles of some markets are very bad. I have never seen a bad product in the Longos discount aisle. Prices are always reasonable and proportionate. I find many different types of cheese and Greek coffees that I want.

Saturday Oct 22, 2022 I brought my 92 year old mother to shop. This event doesn’t happen as often since she can hardly hear, but her independence is important. Thumbs up to your staff cashier Bertie for her patience and big smile. My mum wanted to pay herself and it took a few minutes more than probably regular customers everyone was very nice including other customers for a busy day. Great day for me to see her enjoy this outing, and I got Starbucks for myself. Perfect day. Thank you Longos and Bertie.

I LOVE your Flavor Bomb Tomatoes. No others anywhere can match their sweetness. I really appreciate the meals you package. It's the best way I can eat healthy. Your small containers of cut fruit are so handy. And I love your baked half pies (i am single), selection of buns and other desserts. Your prices are slightly higher than others, but you have great quality foods, and such a great selection of meals to go, including your hot ones. Thank you for being here.

I m here its Thursday night and they have a pizza special today I usually in burloak and qew store but today I was in Burlington and my kids ask for pizza coz they like longo's pizza . And we went to store and the guy in bakery looked at me as If I want it for free . He give 30 minutes time where in burloak I get my pizza in 10 to 15 minutes. I think the guy should quit his job if he is not happy working there before screwing some ones business

This is the worst longos in existence. Their product selection is deplorable compared to other longos. While I appreciate they don’t have the space that other stores do they certainly don’t put the effort in to make up for it. The pharmacy is embarrassing. They barely have anything organic. No natural health products section. Just an all-around shameful grocery store that should be embarrassed to brand them selves a Longos.

I bought some "freshly picked local strawberries" from Longos today. I don't know if I'm just imagining things but I remember the strawberries I picked in my childhood tasting really good. Ever since then every strawberry I've bought from a grocery store has tasted like water, some of them smell good, but they all taste like nothing. Longos really disappointed as I was hoping it would be different this time.

Today, March 28, I placed an online order for me to pick up at the store. This took time to do, and it was only when I got to the checkout part that I was offered a time window - on APRIL 9!!! The pick up window is not offered at the beginning, only the delivery window. C'mon Longos! Be transparent up front so I people don't waste time entering an order to find out they can pick it up in 12 days !!!!!

Had 4 different people help me through out the store. Shopping was great. The staff are all fantastic and they smile! They are very courteous, knowledgeable, helpful and seem to love their job! Even told the manager how great my visit was! Prices are higher but they have great selection of truly fresh food. Usually shop at other store but will be back for Longo's fresh food and bakery.

My husband was just discriminated against by the store manager, Chris at this location. The bylaw explicitly states that masks are to be worn WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A MEDICAL CONDITION. I do not know how a bylaw could be written more clearly. If Chris feels he is above the bylaw, I suggest he spends some time educating himself as he is now personally liable for a human rights violation.

Price GOUGE alert!!! Went to buy a Black Forrest Ham today in Burlington Ontario for Thanksgiving dinner. Longo's price: $24.90 per kilogram. Marilu's price: $12.49 per kilogram. No sale advertisement, just regular pricing. I don't care what excuse Longo's has for this, in my humble opinion, this is price gouging! Government of Ontario and Government of Canada, get on this please!!!

This is a good place for your daily needs. I like the bakery. This section is rich. Mostly gelatin and alchohol free cake. Gluten free cakes are also available. Staffs are good and professional. I gave 1 star less as the lady in the bakery section 1st rejected to check ingredients in the cake excusing rush, though it was not that rush. Otherwise it would have been a 5 from me.

First time in the store. The store is clean and does not feel crowded. Even though I wasn't hungry, it took all my will power not to get any of their cooked food. They look and probably taste amazing. I will definitely have a slice of pizza next time I am there. The staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely going to visit this location again. Highly recommended.

This longos is quite underpar compared to other locations. The issue that stands out the most, unfortunately, is the hot pizza station. I don't know if they're using old pizza from the shelf they didn't sell, but the pizza is horrible. At $4.99/slice, it had no sauce, tland tasted old & stale. I wouldn't recommend this Longos location. Other ones are much better.

Compared to the Oakville location it is inferior by far. Bakery and kitchen is severely lacking. No muffins or prepared chicken before 9am on a Tuesday is pathetic. Also the staff bickering with each other on the floor in the back all the time is awkward. The cashiers are awesome and are the most consistent and the most valuable element to this location

This longos has great produce, fresh and availability is almost always there. Starbucks is a nice add for those that need a coffee on the run while the shop (and so they dont buy unnecessary things too). We come here everyweek for some items, specially carrots and carrot tops. At the time of this review, they also have Ontario Peaches at a great price!

I was just in Longo's this morning to pick up some yogurt " Olympic " . To my surprise the price was raised over a dollar. I know that the staff received a raise in pay I was told. I know we are going thru tough times ,money , mental and social. But does Longo's need to put the prices up, what about seniors maybe they can not afford their new prices .

This is a great store but the parking lot and road access is terrible. Unless you want to exit going north or west it is unbelievably difficult to exit the lot, and manoeuvring the end of the lot where the LCBO is a nightmare. It isn't the stores fault but if you are trying to make a quick stop on the way home from work it might not be a good choice.

love the Large fresh great quality variety of produce,, the hot food-salad bar is amazing, staff is friendly and helpful, even customers are friendly we noticed. We do not like the meats here, but great overall. We previously shopped at walmart and fortinos, but Longos will be our main store now. most stuff is cheaper cost and better quality here.

Great grocery store with friendly employees. The store is well laid out with wide isles. Plenty of prepaired food options, hot or heat and serve at home. Excellent produce, Bakery products are fresh, deli counter well stocked, also have some prepackaged deli meats if your in a hurry! Lots of parking available, easy access in and out of the plaza.

A smaller than normal Longo's but that's what I love about it. Everything I need but I am in and out faster. Excellent deli counter! Staff is wonderful. I wish the customers would pay attention to the exit and entrance signs and the parking lot is one where you have to have eyes in the back of your head...but that's not Longo's fault …

Properly stocked and always clean. I liked the fact that they took extra measures and started responding regarding the covid-19 new rules and regulations by providing masks to customers without masks and arrows on the floor now. I would love to see those rules a little more enforced by the store but they still deserve a 5 star review imo.

In addition to the excellent quality of products that you carry I have not felt so relaxed shopp ing since this pandemic began. I also appreciate senior shopping hour. It is one of the few places in Burlington where you should stop by for fresh vegetables. A wide variety and reasonable price. Vegetables are always fresh, fruits are fresh and beautiful. Also, the aisles are very well designed. You can see and buy the product you want very easily. I am very satisfied and recommend it.

Terrible was told off because i had two more items and actually the hrimp were two for one at 16$ also chocolate two for one so actually u had the correct amount of items. Store empty i was only one in queue. Dreadful service indeed 55$ 8 items and insulted. This happened at around three thirty today. Norah Rosen

I think that Longo’s is doing an excellent job of managing the Covid-19 challenges. The door person is professional, the aisles are wide and well marked, the check out process is clean and clear etc.. For the most part, customers are complying with your rules and it feels like a safe shopping experience.

Wonderful fresh baked Bread and pastries. Such a great selection of meats and cheeses. Love the fact that they do smaller portions and you don't have to buy bulk of you don't need to. Great selection of fresh vegetables. Love this store even if it is a bit pricey. Always a great selection of foods

Cashier supervisor chastised me in front of other customers and my family for a simple misunderstanding. Then she immediately told another supervisor which proceeded to lecture me also. Miserable encounter. Just trying to buy some groceries. Gone are the good ol' days of being nice to people.

usually great service and products but yesterday afternoon I bought a mushroom trio flatbread that marked would be okay to eat for the day. Got home placed had it prepared. it wasn't broccoli on it but mold spores... the price was halved but it's wrong to place on for sale molded food.

Was wanting Campbell’s tomato soup so my husband went in and a small can was $2.99 . I told him forget it not worth it. Then I find out Walmart sells them for .97 cents and that’s all they are worth. Checked Amazon and ordered 4 for $5.56 ($1.39 each) . How can you justify $2.99 a tin

The fruit and vegetables are great and generally the selection of food is good but the location and price are poor. Expect to pay significantly more for everyday items like milk and bread. The parking lot is poorly designed and an absolute pain to get out of.

Excellent store to shop at for unique eatable and great service. My number one go to place for fresh vegetables and cooked ready food. I travel from Hamilton to shop at this store. Because I'm always satisfied and happy to shop at this great grocery store.

Diana and staff in bakery made the reviel cupcakes for our new grandson. They were so pretty and colorful we hated to eat them but that was what we did to find out the sex of the baby. They were very tasty. Not to sweet .So thankful for your hard work.

Longo's features one of the best eat-in /take out salad bars and hot food selections. In-store Starbucks adds to your shopping experience. Great selection of organic vegetables. Bakery on-premise offers hot out of the oven breads, pastries and cakes.

The cashier was so rude. He was cold and quite impatient. Instead of saying “would you like your receipt?”, he was asking me” do you want receipt?” The scanner was at my face waiting for me to show my point card. That seriously made my eyes

We ordered a cake here for my mom's birthday and the customer service was amazing. The store was very clean and pick up was so easy! Also if you love chocolate cake, you have to try their chocolate fudge cake. It's a favourite in my family.

Longo's are the best merchandisers amongst Canadian grocery chains and the store in Burlington is a prime example. Fantastic produce, deli, and meat. Great variety and quality. And very friendly service. My absolute favorite place to shop.

Great store. Lots of variety, lots of stock, aisles are wide, very pleasant staff, washrooms on site but, unfortunately, not accessible. Longos stores in general have great produce and Fairview is no exception. I love shopping here.

Terrible experience! I ran in to grab a brie cheese for a Thanksgiving dinner I was going to and when I opened it was completely rotten inside, dripping and smelled so foul !!! I was shocked and embarrassed to have brought this.

I often come here for fresh produce and the odd times dinner for nights that I don’t want to cook. I also find that this store has a nice selection of baked goods and nice cakes for occasions. Staff is often friendly here also.

Longos Bechamel Meat Lasagna with Mozzarella and Ricotta is outstanding! By far, the BEST prepared lasagna. Beats every other store's attempt. Fresh ingredients and plenty of meat, cheese and sauce. Thank you, Longos!

I always find what I'm looking for at this location. When I can't get to the butcher, my go to meat place is longos. Good produce as well. Friendly staff. Clean and organized store. Roasted chickens are awesome here.

I normally do tomato sauce every year. This year I wanted to shop locally and try longos. I bought 6 bushes and to my surprise, most of the tomatoes were bad. I will never go back to longos next year for tomatoes.

I enjoy shopping at this smaller local grocery store, which carries a great variety of produce at a reasonable price, far better than those larger stores, overcrowded with people. Been shopping here for years.

The people over the cake counter - every time I come say "hi" " please " and "thank you " , they don't even smile a bit and keep showing me attitude every time like I distract them to do something, jesus...

If you like raw potatoes on the buffet, this is the place for you! If, however, you don't want to grossly overpay or appreciate more than just potatoes (raw) in your vegetable curry....then go to Fortinos

Clean, well presented produce, pleasant staff. The only complaint is the dreadful music which probably sounds OK in a club or on a sound system but in the store it's all sounds the same tinny sound.

This is a nice store, with actual helpful employees who will go to great lengths to help you find something! It is a bit more expensive but they have sales all the time, so it balances itself out.

Produce was over priced and over ripe, some things spoiled. Advertised steals on sale and they were so thin they were like fast fry. Very disappointing in a higher end grocery store

Very underserviced grocery store. Waited a half an hour at the deli counter and then there was only three checkouts open while we all waited in a long lines down each aisle.

Good selection and goes after a boutique style grocery store feel and price point on many items. Not my go to store, but nice to get some of the off brand and unique items.

longo 's Fairveiw is a great place to shop all staff are enjoyable courteous and ready to serve. All produce is fresh and meat is tender. prices are competative

Come here for the fresh fruit and vegetables and meat. Very high quality stuff. You'll find better prices on the rest at places like Walmart or No Frills.
