We purchased a brand new HVAC unit from Lowe's through RighTime Home Services in July 2022. We had to replace our existing heater--which was working just fine--in order to purchase the AC unit, which we did not have. The brand new heater quit working on Friday, Feb. 17. We have had repair men at our home for FOUR separate repair appointments running through today--Feb. 27, and the heater is still broken!!! We have been without any heat for 10 days, and this evening the repair people were supposed to be here at 3:30, and they arrived almost two hours late--AGAIN! They left at about 7:00pm after telling me that they were unable to fix the heater and repeating the very same problem that the first repair man tried as the first attempt on the first visit! Tonight, they left telling me that they had to order the very same part that the first repair man thought was the first problem, tried to fix, and couldn't. It has been TEN DAYS since that first troubleshooting explanation and now we are back to that same problem after a total of FOUR visits and NO HEAT! I have never written a bad YELP REVIEW for anything, but I am writing this one now! The product and repair service provided by LOWE'S with Right Time for this new HVAC is HORRIBLE! I want financial compensation and a new heater that works. Again this service and product quality has been HORRIBLE.

My husband and I had a most wonderful and satisfying experience yesterday while shopping at the Mission Valley Lowe’s in San Diego. The reason for that was the extraordinary sales consultant Dan from the Doors department. We were buying the baseboards and needed a LOT of them. Frankly, knowing how long they are (12 feet!) I was dreading even thinking of that purchase…. I saw a sales person sitting at the Doors department and asked him if we could have someone to help us with the baseboards. Dan said that he can do that! And boy, did he!!! Not only he immediately located the baseboards we needed, - he said he would collect them for us and place them on the cart. The baseboards came in a pack of 10 and were not only extra long but heavy too. To add to this “burden” (in all senses of this word) I was very picky and Dan had to move quite a few of the heavy packs for me to choose the best ones. He did! After we chose the baseboards Dan was so kind as to offer us to tape them and to make sure the baseboards were ready for our contractor to pick them up. My husband and I are so taken by this amazing customer service that we received from Dan who rightfully deserves all the credit! What a great, knowledgeable and extremely pleasant employee! Thank you, Dan!!! You made our day!

What an experience, I purchased a cooker top via online, purchases from Lowe's, which took two weeks to get to me.This had to be chased a number of times for delivery to my home. The next step was for a company working for Lowe's called Pacific Installation to check the fitting and measurements, for installing. Another 9 days, just to walk in, a quick check and given the OK. Still happy at this time. I went directly to Lowe's the next day to sign an installment agreement paid for it and ordered a gas pipe attachment. I was informed that the installer would collect this. It took another 10 days before they could come and when they did they forgot to collect the order from Lowe's. It's now October and still hasn't been installed. For the last week I have been calling Lowe's to find someone to install the cooker. In the end had to give them the boot, as the last straw was when I spoke to Lowe'S installer department they asked me for the number of Pacific installation . I was devastated, They had my details but never called back or replied my calls. Here is another order that will be returned. Thank goodness Home Depot is just around the corner. If you give poor service and treat customers poorly, I can see this company going down the drain.

What ever you do do not buy anything of value from Lowes and specially this store. I order a section of cabinets. They delivered 4 days after they said they would (not the end of the world in this world) but one of the cabinets was clearly dropped off the end of the truck and they hid it in the middle. As this is not my first rodeo and I flip houses. I quickly inspected and discovered the damage. I called immediately and they said they had one but it would take 3 days to deliver. The day the crew was set to install. Not happy but could deal with it. The day came and the delivery time came. The crew called said their truck broke down they would be late. 4 hours later they showed up and tried to take the broken cabinet and not deliver a new one. The guy started yelling at me and I finally had to video tape him. He left and I called Lowes they said they had no idea I needed a replacement? But then I asked why they sent a truck? Suddenly the line dropped. I called back waited 40 min and asked for a manger. On hold for another 15 min to be connected to another irate customer. So we both had to drop. I'm now on the phone again for 40 plus minutes. Whatever you do go to Home Depot! Pay more it is worth your time.

Update 12/22/24 Lowes gave me their customer service phone number. Thanks. I called the delivery line and making no progress. Terrible experience. Heard mixed reviews on buying appliances at lowe’s, but the people were right. Don’t do it. Ordered a washer/dryer set from lowes on november 29. They were delivered quickly, but the dryer was defective. They picked up the dryer, but I have not not received a dryer yet. I’ve been without a dryer for a month. I called someone earlier today and she told me that my order was cancelled. I told her I did not cancel the order and after looking more closely, she said the order was auto-cancelled. She told me that my card was refunded and I had to purchase it again tonight. Good thing I checked, there was no refund. I called back and they told me that it was cancelled because the driver did not mark it as delivered. They said that I should have called back the day after to check on the status of the dryer since I did not receive it. I’m shocked that the blame was put on me. I am one month out with no refund and no dryer still. Different customer reps saying different things. Don’t do it. Go anywhere else. The headache is not worth the lower price.

I ordered 2,000lbs of cement to be delivered along with some other articles. I received no notification of when it would be delivered aside from the note on the order that deliveries would be delayed due to the circumstances. 2 days later, while I was not home, I found a voicemail on my phone from Lowes that said the cement would be delivered in 1 hour and a voicemail from the delivery person that said he was 15 minutes away. I called him back to let him know that, because it was cement, it had to go in the garage. He said he already dropped everything off and had left. Unfortunately, he dropped it off in my driveway.The garage is 5 feet further than where he dropped it. Now I have to move 2000lbs of cement 5 feet into my garage by hand because of the lack of notification. He also dropped everything else directly onto a small wood retaining wall in front of my house, damaging it, and extending out across the entire sidewalk. I have been trying to get a hold of Lowe's to have someone come out to move it that extra 5 feet, but have been either continuously on hold or immediately hung up on.

I rarely write reviews, whether being good or bad! but after dealing with Asst. Manager "Todd Lowans" of the Mission Valley Store, I was forced to share my experience. First, Todd was called on the PA system for assistance as he was passing multiple times by the costumer service area without stopping to assist (the time was around 8:30pm "slow flow of costumer"). Then when finally stopped after a good 10min wait, he mocked the cashier for not calling him more than once for his esteem assistance! he definitely showed that costumer assistance was not the intention he had. Second, he did not honor the other store price and refused to give the same discount of the exact same product that Santee store had. In my opinion, Todd is not fit for a managing position at all. I will not be shopping at Lowe's knowing they have such staff running their business. MY BUSINESS as an Owner/director of a Property Management Company who was loyal customer of Lowe's for years, has been put to STOP after this incidence and will directly be shifted to HOME DEPOT.

This is the most poorly run store ever. They need to give this store manager the boot. Literally every time I’m in here you either can’t find anyone to help you, they ignore you and just walk to the back loading dock, or you ask a simple question and employees just look dumbfounded. They rarely know anything about their products or the answers to questions, the returns desk people are always overwhelmed, they constantly have the self checkout lines only running. Tonight both the forklift driver and the manager are on lunch breaks at 645pm And there is nobody to help me load a one ton bag of sand in my truck. The self checkout employee literally said “people usually aren’t around over here” when I asked if there was anyone else in the store with forklift cert. Well, they clearly don’t want business, I’m so sick of wasting my time here. Off to Home Depot…again

I ordered a washer/dryer stackable set on 11/22/2022. The delivery guys delivered the pair on 11/23/22 and hauled away the old washer, dryer and for some for some reason disconnected the draining pan. They stated they couldn’t install the new items since I needed a new power cord, clamp etc so I ordered the kit. The delivery guys came back on 11/26 and said they would need the draining pan installed before they hooked up the washer and dryer. I ordered a new draining pan and the warehouse stated I would need to speak with the appliance department at the Mission Valley to schedule the guys to come back out. I spoke with someone from the appliance department at 2pm on 12/8/22 and he hung up on me and would not answer the phone when I called back.

Had an online order. Was told to park in the Lumber area. I went inside to confirm that they knew about said order & went back to wait in my car. I was instructed to move my car twice by two different associates, both of whom knew i was there for that specific order. I waited and i waited and i waited. About 30-40 minutes. For an online order. Finally i go back inside and am ignored by the male worker there. I speak to a different associate about my order, and turns out it had been sitting to the side for God knows how long. In eyesight of the first person i spoke to. Two separate associates knew i was there for that order, and i wasted so much time just waiting for it instead of being informed it was ready. Do better.

I would leave zero starts if possible! What a nightmare. They charged my credit card $808 twice. Delivered a broken refrigerator, then charged my card twice without telling me, then cancel my order and left me stranded for days without my refrigerator. Never doing business with them again. I was on hold for a total of over four hours to get it resolved. Still disputing the $800 double charge that I never authorized. Not to mention the fridge was supposed to be delivered between 12 noon and 4 PM and they showed up at 9 in the morning unannounced. Then they were supposed to show up the next day to deliver another fridge that was not damaged and they never showed up and never called.

There are really kind staff at this Lowe’s. I’ve always had a good experience whether I’m buying stuff or just browsing. I bring my German Shepherd here to walk around sometimes because she loves looking and smelling inside the store. Today she had a slight medical emergency and pooped actual blood in the middle of the isle randomly. I won’t show pictures because it was gross… it looked like a can of tomato paste was dropped on the floor. Two employees helped me clean it even though I said they didn’t have to. They were so kind to us. They didn’t ask questions or make us feel bad, just got clean up stuff for me and helped out. Overall great customer service. Thank you!

I love this store. It is well-stocked and clean. However, the employees (with the exception of one cashier, Raul) have zero desire to assist customers. They are often seen congregating in “employees only” areas avoiding customers when there are no checkout lanes open. Most recently, we purchased 4 2x4 boards and requested that they be cut to size. Specific measurements were provided and yet the boards were still cut 4” short. Obviously this is useless, framing lumber needs to be cut properly. It didn’t help that it took 20 minutes to even get someone to attend the saw. These people are clearly not paid enough to care. Lowe’s corporate needs to fix this.

Updated review: I was able to speak to Pablo the new store manager (he just started this week). He was great and took care of all my concerns. Really appreciate the follow up. Just picked up the matching washing machine form Lowes (in Vista). Original one star review: The service from this store is a disaster. They say they are very short staffed which is obvious but the staff that is there is clueless, rude, and completely unwilling to help. I picked up a dryer in store and when I discovered that the dryer was dented I could not reach anyone in store who could help me after 5 phone calls and an hour waiting on hold. Spend your money somewhere else!

Nice store with friendly staff. I loved it! I purchased a charcoal chimney, so now I have one of those to use when I'm firing up the grill and going to town on some delicious chicken or other yummy grillables. I also throw some corn on there to balance out the meal. A real man never runs from a challenge. Unless, of course, the challenge is the running of the bulls in Pamplona because that's the whole point of that challenge. Plus, I'm not sure you're ever going to defeat a bull running full speed through the streets. But what do I know.

Hate leaving bad reviews but I don't understand this. Wife and got over charged on a previous tool rental and were issued gift cards. Tried to redeem them today and was told I could not because they think they were issued to wife and need her to come in and present her DL. You kidding me? They made the original mistake and now they're not even sure if we can redeem unless she comes in...my DL was not Valid. Wouldn't even check when my wife sent me her DL. Was told she needed to come in person.

It seemed alright and everyone working there was helpful and nice. Unfortunately, they didnt have the weird tiny machine screw I needed, and also some strung-out maniac walked in screaming the N-word and on the verge of violence. It sounded like the nice staff were able to convince him to leave safely and politely, though. Hard to tell, I was staying out of sight in an aisle to avoid risking the wackjob's attention. But props to the staff for their handling of the situation!

Great customer service at this Mission Valley Lowe's. The employees here went above and beyond to assist us in finding what we need. Particularly, kudos to Sean in the Appliances department for going the distance to help us. Sean did not just point us to an online catalog and went on with his day. Sean asked what part of the refrigerator we were looking for, tried to understand the issue, and actually helped us got the part! Awesome customer service!

Not happy. We bought a dishwasher (and not a cheap one, I might add), arranged for the delivery. It stated it would be delivered between 12 and 4pm. We wasted an entire Saturday waiting and then 6pm rolled around. Tried to get customer service. Line just rang and rang. Tried to call the store near us, no answer despite it still being within business hours. No call letting us know of any delays. Our plans ruined. Will not buy appliances here again.

To say that the service is slow Would be like saying that drilling into your finger with a slow rusty drill is uncomfortable. I came in to pick up a small special order item, it took half an hour before somebody could direct me to the pick up desk and then once I got to the pick up desk it took the person another half an hour to go retrieve the order from in back. They make the slugs at Home Depot look like speedy Gonzalez.

I needed extra screws for my television base since some of the original screws were stripped. Looking for screws has always been a hassle for me but one of the sales associates, Richard, made it extremely simple and explained how to figure out the size of the screw and where to easily locate it. In all my years I’ve never had someone explain this to me so it’s extremely appreciative to finally obtain this information!

Couldn't find a specific shower drain at 3 different plumbing stores. Lowe's had it in a clearance area. The front register rung up full price, but after explaining to them it was on the sale rack, they just took my word and charged me $1 each. It saved us both time. I loved the size of this place, massive and seemed like they had EVERYTHING! Wish i lived closer to it, I'd probably skip shopping Home Depot.

I prefer Lowe's over the home deepot (misspelling intentional). Selection for pretty much all home stuff. I went for painting stuff: rollers, tape, refills, and I also bought a cool hanging light on close out. I paid 49 dollars for an originally priced 210 dollar light. Suh-wheet. I just prefer shopping at Lowe's. The employees with whom I interacted were friendly and knowledgable.

This location is one of the best so far. Wasn't beyond packed like other locations, had four keys to be made the gentleman helping me was professional and easy to work with and when one of my keys weren't being read by the machine he knew why explained it gave me an alternative to having the key made. Easy in and out for the first time at a lowes which I shop very very frequently.

A great store located in Fenton Parkway for anyone who happens to be interested in home improvement or just fixing a lightbulb which broke yesterday. Aisles upon aisles of just about everything needed to do repairs or improvements on a property. They also have a very comprehensive garden section where you can acquire many types of plants and things related to gardening.

Just bought a rolling toolbox from this store. Bought it on Friday and then picked it up on Monday with company’s pickup truck. No hustle at all. Was provided with a 10% discount after found a scratch on a toolbox even after it took the guys about 20 minutes to pulled it out from the top shelf with a forklift. Perfect customer service, really appreciate it!

I called Lowe’s to ask about whether they have a lost and found because I left an item at the store on accident while picking up a large pickup order. The phone has been ringing for 30 minutes and nobody has answered. Rather than a simple answer over the phone, we are going to have to drive all the way out to the store to ask someone one question.

Pretty good store and they do a good job of keeping the place clean and stocked. I've found that prices are generally higher than Home Depot and not as good of selection, but it's more convenient to stop at this Lowe's. They have a weird speaker/camera thing in the parking lot that yells stuff at you. Not sure what that's all about.

They also had materials I needed to build a trellis for mom's wisteria and a spiral garden. Friendly staff, great plant section. Not much else yoy could want from a mega home improvement store. Closest to my house, so gets the most frequent visits, haven’t had a bad experience, anything I’ve needed was usually in stock, and the staff always seems happy to help me find it. Cool paint section as well.

Getting help is hit or miss depending on the department. We had great help in the garden center but we couldn't get any help us with the lawn machinery even though we went to guest services and asked for help. We heard them ask someone to come help us over the intercom so maybe it was just bad timing.

Waited 25min to get someone over who could operate the machine to cut a piece of wood. Finally someone comes and they can’t operate the equipment. I don’t fault the employee not trained, I fault the people who aren’t adequately managing the skills and provide ding training or supervision.

My review is for their plants - got a number of plants from this Lowe’s and they’ve all developed spider mites/other pest issues. Wouldn’t give a refund unless you bring the dead plants in (but who would want to bring around plants infested with pests and not toss them out ASAP??)

Our discount coupon would not work so a staff member had to enter the discount for each product individually. It took several minutes, as we had a large order. Also, another cashier opened the lane next to us so that everyone in line behind us would not need to wait.

This Lowe’s is very convenient to get to since it’s off the freeway. The help I have had in customer service is decent but I mainly like it because it’s best to get in and out of. They also have some other shops nearby if you want to grab a quick bite on the run.

It is a very clean place with generally friendly and helpful staff. They have a variety of tools and equipment. When looking for electrical stuff, check near the Lighting section. Prices are steep compared to Harbour Freight, but they have some quality brands.
