It was a bus load of 8 seniors. The meals had been pre-ordered. When we arrived the tables had a water bottle, cardboard cups, the envelope with serviette, knife & fork only no spoon. We sat & waited for approx 30 mins before the meals were served. The best meal was the Fish & Chips - freshly cooked, piping hot, with crunchy chips. The fettuccine boscaola was certainly al dente - too much for me. I had enough to take home for my tea, where heating it in the microwave will make it my kind of al dente. The meals were huge. The chicken schnitzel salad was a MASSIVE BOWEL of mesculin salad with a large piece of chicken schnitzel placed on top. There were a couple of Tom Thumb tomatoes, pieces of bocconcine, uncut & a bit of grated cheese . The 2 women couldn't finish the mesculin salad. Far too much for older appetites - dreadful wastage. We had ordered separate desserts but he offered 4 plates of 2 profiteroles + 1 mini fruit tart. I had ordered the caramel tart. It didn't get a mention. The profiteroles WERE very nice but I had chosen something else. Overall it was very casual. which we weren't expecting. We were originally booked to go to Blacktown RSL. Not sure why it changed. We missed out on our glass(es) of red wine. Overall the food was plentiful; the atmosphere was (casual); as we had booked I expected lunch on the table approx 10 mins after we'd arrived (which is the usual situation for our group); the setting of the table was very casual - no spoons for the pasta or for the coffee at the end of the meal & no pepper & salt sachets till we asked. The additional positives were that they used totally recyclable cups & containers for leftovers. Well done there!! It's worth a try. No real complaints but it was for me a bit too casual, probably I was expecting what I believed I'd ordered with a large glass of mellow red.

After reading reviews and looking at photos I decided to visit the village cafe. On arrival there’s no signage indicating the restaurant is called Luddenham Village Cafe instead you can only see Terrace on the door. It may appear big on the outside but internally it small and jam packed with around 8-10 tables. The staff there are nice and helpful but some seem they had no idea what they were doing especially our food were served before our coffee arrived! The food itself is reasonably priced, very big proportion and well presented but taste ordinary. Coffee tasted bitter & burnt without sugar, no coffee art on my latte it was a mess. What I did enjoy was the ricotta cannoli it’s probably one of the best I’ve tasted. Though the price for a cannoli at $4.5 is quite expensive especially in a remote area. Review 2 11 June 2023: Since my last visit, prices have gone up ridiculously high especially for a cannoli. Staff members are not that friendly, not polite and never smile.

I just want to start off and say the food/drinks served here are top notch, can’t rate it any higher…but the customer service on the other hand is the worst I’ve experienced in a very long time. I’ve given this cafe a few chances as the food & drinks are of great quality but on a number of occasions now myself & my partner have been treated very poorly & some of the staff have even often spoken to us in such a condescending way as to make us feel stupid. This cafe has very high potential, but there seems to be no communication between staff as things are often missed/made incorrectly even when specified multiple times. Really tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but will not be returning as once again my visit today was ruined by lack of custom service. Hopefully this cafe can use this review to increase potential. All staff should have a discussion on teamwork as that is the biggest missing factor we can see here. I would love to see this cafe thrive as well as it could.

The Luddenham Village Cafe is set back from a main road and attached to a servo. There is outdoor seating. You can takeway food and drinks or eat in. They also offer drive-through service from breakfast. It is dog friendly. They proved it when I was trying to hold our dog just outside the door while trying to see what I might like. A staff member came up and said she would hold Lulu while I went in. They have a great selection of food...cakes, savouries and cooked food plus hot and cold drinks. The Green Beans Coffee is roasted on the premises, and I am a convert The prices of our coffee and cake were very reasonable. They deliver food and drinks to the outside tables. Other diners who had been before said food, drinks, and service were consistently good. There is plenty of off-road parking.

I don't generally like to give a bad review to any business as I have friends and family who run small businesses but this one was absolute shockers. I was recommended to go here by a mate to try this place out in hopes that it wouldn't disappoint, however, on Sunday my wife and I came here under the impression that it was good and then when my wife's meal came out it was cold throughout. On another note when ordering a thickshake please make sure it is thick and not runny like a milkshake. We also had got 3 pies to take away on our way out and they were stale and hard left us in even more disappointment, please make sure if you are going to sell pies that they are not stale. Overall I was really disappointed with this place and won't be back considering we drove an hour just to try them out, I understand everyones experience will be different but I definitely would NOT recommend this place to anyone wanting to try a new place to eat.

Been coming here on occasion for a while now. I love this place. The atmosphere is amazing, the place is always open even early in the morning. The staff are awesome, friendly and the girl with the pink hair is more than just a pretty face and rocking body, she makes amazing coffee! (That was one hell of a latte). I usually get the steak sandwich here, it is absolutely epic. Worth every penny. On my last visit they gave used sweet potato for the hot chips and it was absolutely amazing. I can't wait to get it a second time. I'm the web developer that comes with David on Mondays fyi. I'd highly recommend this place, it's like one of those diners you can visit on the regular and make a part of your home. Even the other people eating and having coffee are great. Being located right near a servo means there's plenty of parking, and in Wallacia they sure do need a decent place to eat. Nothing seems to be open till about 3pm or so.

We were looking for a place to eat on our way back from a holiday, and on a public holiday, so most places were closed however this was open and I must say, stopping here was the best decision we've ever made! A prime location which isn't busy at all (being on a bypass you may not see it at first but its just next to the ampol servo). As soon as we walked in it was like being welcomed into their home! Staff are absolutely amazing and super friendly. The food is just as good if not better than alot of high tier restaurants yet the prices are so cheap! The wide selection of authentic Italian food and desserts will keep you coming back for more for sure! Overall highly recommend this place especially if you're passing through the area looking for somewhere to have lunch.

I’m not one to complain but I’m upset with how things went during my visit, on arrival I had to wait a while to be seated (which I understand they were busy) once seated we ordered and food and came quite quickly. As we were leaving, one of the waiters yells out in a rude manor and accused us of not paying in front of everyone. We said to her it had been paid for by friends, and she gave us a rude look like we were lying. she checked and it was exactly what we said. Me and my partner were in embarrassed as she yelled across the restaurant if front of everyone, when it could have just been resolved quietly without the embarrassment. It’s a shame because overall it wasn’t a bad place, but will not be going back because of that incident.

I visited Luddenham Village Cafe ONCE almost HALF A DECADE ago. I live HALF A COUNTRY away from this place. These people STILL harass me with UNSOLICITED JUNK TEXT MESSAGES that come from countless different phone numbers, NEVER with an option to UNSUBSCRIBE. If you value your sanity, your privacy and your right to go about your day without being alerted to irrelevant advertising via text message then I suggest you NEVER give this establishment your mobile phone number, even if they tell you it's a requirement when making a booking. I mean, who books to eat at a petrol station, anyway? Groupon sure screwed me over with this offer.

Horrible. Received a notification from menulog within 20 minutes that our order was on the way (its a 10min drive). 40 minutes later we rang the Cafe to find out how much longer it would be and were yelled at over the phone that "they are very busy and if menulog have advised it's on the way, then it's on the way" we advised that was 40 mins prior, to which she responded with "well it's leaving now then...." and hung up without us even telling her our name....!! The food then did not arrive until a further 35mins later where the driver walked up to the door, handed over the food and turned around to walk away without even speaking a word. At which point we were unable to eat it as we had our daughters Holy Communion to get to. Very disappointing customer service.

I stop here occasionally in the morning for coffee on my way to work (coffee is well made, fast and well priced) but this is the first time I have dined in. Dining room was clean and tidy and staff were attentive without being over-the-top. We were seated with menus and given some time to decide what we would like. I had the Banana Hotcakes and they were exactly what I hoped they would be, big fluffy hotcakes with loads of banana and caramel flavours. I would have these again. My little one chose kids bacon and eggs and the portion was perfect for a child. I would recommend lunch or breakfast here and I would dine here again.

Luddenham Village Cafe recently catered our triplets 21st. We had a wonderful selection of pulled pork, arancini balls, lasagne, pesto pasta, Greek and other salads. All of the food was delightful. It was a large order but was ready to pick up at the agreed time. Ordering and paying was a seamless process and the staff were so friendly, helpful and easy to deal with. We were so happy with this order and all of our guests asked us who supplied the catering. We should have given out some fridge magnets! We have used Luddenham Village Cafe before and we will be happy to do so again for our next large (or small) event.

I've been here a few times, the portions are generous overall but a few small things like only 3 cherry tomatoes and 2 spears of asparagus in one of the dishes was disappointing. The sweet potato fries were delicious, and the eggs were poached well for both dishes. Not sure why our coffee was served in take-away containers when we dined in. The Nutella milkshake was delicious but not very cold. We asked for some table water and the cups were a bit dirty inside and out, and some of the cutlery in the jar was too. We've also stopped in for takeaway cakes and coffee and they were delicious also. Overall this cafe has a lot going for it, and we'll definitely be back, but a little more attention to detail would really help.

We come here weekly for breakfast. Every dish on the menu is absolutely delicious. The portions are huge. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend to everyone

Had breakfast here this morning, 5 people squished on a table, when we asked for 2 tables to be put together we were told no. Drinks came out very different times. Waiting for close to 40 minutes for our food, while the table next to us who’d arrived 25 minutes after us had gotten their food and finished it long before we got ours. Food was of poor quality. Pancakes had things missing off it and tasted like onion, omelette came out with onion which isn’t even on the menu. When this feedback was given we were met with “we’re busy” busy or not if you can’t accommodate the amount of people in the place then turn people around. Will never eat here again.

Have been going to this Cafe for along while have enjoyed there coffee and Italian cakes.. but thought I would call in and have lunch there but was very disappointed. We both ordered avocado lunch meal . Was just a mynute thin spread of avocado on stale bread had blunt knives couldn't cut bread had mentioned all this to register staff there was no comment..I also wanted to use my 25 dollar government voucher they do except, but because the boss wasn't in couldn't help me with my voucher ..so I would have had a better lunch at Camden which wouldn't have costs me 50 dollars. Disappointed customers

We come here a lot and the food is lovely, however there was a blonde older woman at the counter today (possibly a manager or owner) that was so utterly and unbelievably rude! so definitely the last time coming here. I’m happy to spend my money somewhere where I won’t be given attitude to for asking a simple question about the ingredients. She was having a go at another member in front of all customers too, so yeah suggest you work on your customer service skills. I’d rather take my business to people with manners.

For the $148 I spent (was spent separate , part online part in store) I wasn't happy with the order I ordered char grilled vegetable/ ham focaccia (Foccaccia was custom order) Edges were soft and sloppy so had to cut a bit off Mini Caramel flans were very overpriced One quarter the size of a fruit flan yet was charged ridiculous amount $5+ each Fruit flan was also slightly soft crust and old On a positive note Lasagna was the best I'm 100% certain it's your Cafe !!!!!

I visited the cafe all the way from ryde for a nice meal. Was very disappointing today. The quality of the food has gone down so much. We ordered a steak done med rare it was almost well done. To top it off I ordered a smashed avo with eggs and a chorizo on the side as an add on. On the menu an add on chorizo was priced at $3.50. They served half a chorizo which the menu doesn’t specify.. such a rip off to charge $3.50 and give a thin half a chorizo. Come one guys make our money worth when you serve food. Very disappointing and felt like such a rip off.

The Luddenham Village Cafe is a fantastic spot with delicious food and the most accommodating staff. I love coming here for a late breakfast as they are always generous portions and tasty. They also have a great lunch, sandwich and dessert range to choose from. I highly recommend them for all your catering needs too. Daniel is exceptional at designing a menu specific to your needs and always has creative ideas that have impressed every single time.

Bought Ferrero cake as the birthday cake. Everyone at the party was very disappointed. Sponge was so dry and chocolate topping was too sweet. I messaged the cafe very late well after 9pm on the night before Christmas Eve to book a table of 11 people. It was the first Christmas with my dad who now has dementia, since 2007! They booked us in, made the most beautiful breakfast and the coffees are great, the kids loved their massive banana bread and chocolate milkshake, the meal sizes are huge! Food is amazing , I always come back because the food is so good! Though only 3 stars because they have not updated their menus properly the online one is different to in store and every time you go in you always get overcharged. Every time I have gone to buy or pay for my meal I have to correct the staff on the price to what actually shows on their menu online or on the board. Only thing I fault. But food amazing !

I was working in the area hungry, trying to find something to eat. I stepped into this restaurant. It took me a while before I decided to have chicken, avocado and cheese sourdough sandwich. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had and for that price, it felt like it was a lucky find.

We've yet to try the food dining, but the deserts & coffee are fantastic. Very unassuming from the outside and doesnt have much to let you know that the cafe is even there (we stumbled across it as we needed fuel). Would definitely recommend it for a early morning stop for a quick boost, and can definitely see the small town of Luddenham becoming a major attraction with all the newer roads taking place.

I would give 10 stars if I could! Luddenham cafe is always top quality food, coffee & service. Everything is always fresh when we order delivery to glenmore park each week. I forgot to pre order my cannoli cake for my anniversary, I contacted the Cafe and they had it made , personalised and delivered within a few hours at no extra cost! Do yourself a favour, try the custard logs !!

Sunday the 21st of august came in with my partner ordered breakfast from the menu. As I walked up to the counter to order a dessert, overhead the young man swearing, yelling and carrying on about an order. I’m highly disappointed that the fact that I had to hear someone swearing and carrying on is unacceptable, you have lost me as a customer. If I could give zero stars I would.

I’ve been going to this cafe for years. Customer service is still average. Ricotta cannoli have gone downhill. It’s nice that they are pipped fresh on demand but they are really lacking in flavour. The shell was really hard and for $12 for two cannoli I don’t think I’ll be back. Sorry.

Haven't been to Luddenham Village Cafe for years after a bad experience. Went today and ordered the burger. It came out with just meat and bacon. No cheese no pickles no sauce no onion rings. I asked for potato chips got sweet potato which were nice. I didn't send it back as I was in a rush. Coffee was great as usual, but the kitchen side still not good.

Thank you for delivering my Father’s Birthday breakfast this morning! The omelettes looked amazing and were deliciously tasty, very generous with all the ingredients. Fruit flans were gorgeous and huge! Definitely will order here again! Staff are so helpful and caring. Made my Father feel special on his birthday during this lockdown! Thank you again.

Went there for mothers day, i understand food is going to take longer to arrive on days like this. But when i gave feedback that the food took 1 hr to arrive, the cashier simple said " well the kitchen cant get bigger!" , no apology or anything. Food was nice, but experience ruined because of lack of customer service. Probably will not go back.

We often stop here with work colleges and we are always super happy . the service is great the coffee is great and the food specially the cakes are amazing. Thank you to Daniel and the staff you always go above and beyond to greet us and make us feel at home.

A good cafe where a lot of enthusiasts gather. Cyclers, Bikers, Campers, Car owners with ample space for parking and eating outside. The cafe sells some good food with some awesome pastries. I feel a pinch of music would give it a good feel and attract more folks. I drove from Bella Vista just to enjoy the feel of the place.

Our first time visiting this cafe today and we were very impressed. Service was top notch and food and coffee was delicious! We will definitely be back.

The staff including Nada, Brooke and Daniel make you feel most welcome. The coffee is smooth and silky. The range of cakes and treats are difficult to pass up. I would strongly recommended calling buy and having a coffee of a special treat. Nada and Brooke will make you feel most welcome.

Absolutely loved it. Food was amazing and so much variety in juices and cakes. Ill be coming back many times. Loaded bacon and egg roll was so good and i chose to sit outside on a wonderful day. Highly recommended

Detoured to get a coffee this morning. What an inviting store. The service was super quick even though they were extremely busy and the coffee was good. Next time will definitely have to try some of the delicious goods on display

Great coffee, in fact one of the best coffees. Very friendly staff and delicious Italian desserts and Bakery m. I also bought a Lasagna for take away. Coming here is a must, plus your enjoy the drive!!! Big wide open roads for your Sport Cars!!!

The food was good. Service was absolutely non existent. Waited to be seated but was ingnored. Took ages to even approach us to take our order. About an hour before we got our meals the male that served us wiped a table with his forearm

The food and drinks are absolutely delicious! A few of my favourites are their grilled chicken boxes, chicken schnitzel burgers and their protein shakes. The service is always quick and delightful as well. Definitely recommend ☺️

Such an amazing place. Honestly if you haven't been there before your missing out. The meals are amazing, the staff are friendly, they have some Maltese food because the owners are Maltese. They even do catering now.

I am so excited that I visited this cafe today. The desserts are so amazing and coffee was served to us hot and big sizes. The ladies (staff) there were caring to provide high standard of customer service.

Came in yesterday morning and purchased an almond croissant and a snitzel sandwich. They were so stale and hard, such a shame for a patisserie to be clearly not selling fresh pastries :(

Loved this place. It's been our tradition to come here and have a triple birthday brunch. Going there again tomorrow. Foods are always delicious. Best coffee and love the cannoli too.
