I personally would not recommend. My grandfather passed in August last year and he and my Gran appointed Lee & Priestly (merged with LF) to undertake their will. Paul Loftus dealt with their estate; and it has taken them until today for everything to be finalised and released. We had to chase up on several occasions, voice messages requesting call backs were rarely actioned. The staff are polite but I would not say 'friendly'. Though today was an exception; as there was lovely young Irish girl who was alone on reception when we arrived today at around 14:20.

I saw a recommendation for this firm from someone else on my estate who has used them to buy their property freehold before. I contacted them and received a call from Robin who sent me a follow-up email requesting more details. I sent my reply and never heard anything back. I sent a further email to chase this and still never received a reply. Not even to say they couldn't help, despite having done it for a similar property before. Was pretty disappointing and a waste of time. Would not recommend them.

We are currently only halfway through the process - one house sold and part way through buying another, but I feel I have been very well advised in my choice of solicitors. Prompt responses to any questions and plenty of support for this novice. Thank you Catherine and Robin. Update - now in our new house and I would definitely recommend Catherine and Robin at Lupton Fawcett for handling both the selling and the buying. Great support and prompt responses all the way through.

Property sale completed last week. Lupton Fawcett team dealt efficiently with it through the process. Sarah, the solicitor, was fantastic, each time I had a query, I was able to speak to her directly, at the first call. This was my first time selling a property, and she explained everything very well. Robin kept me very well updated during completion, which was very much appreciated. If your thinking of using a solicitor please think again before using this firm. They never completed the work. Posted letters to incorrect addresses. Then charged extra for a late payment , which was there fault not ours. The work they did was for my parents of 82 years and 87 years of age. PLEASE PLEASE stay clear.

Richard Buckley has taken care of my divorce proceedings throughout the past year. With his expertise, also showing care and understanding, we finally completed. Awful firm, needs shutting down. Cannot conduct legal work never mind host college students for work experience. WORST HR team (LUCY) I have ever come across as I'm a business owner who has liaised with many. Rubbish quality work and the internal structure is diabolical - full of disappointments.
