Great place to take the kids if you are looking for a playground. Don’t go if you’re expecting a museum with displays well lit and presented with plenty of interesting items and information to read about them. Be expected to read and answer the most inane and stupid questions displayed on screens everywhere. Poorly set out, difficult to navigate through and definitely not worth $33 to enter. In addition what business is it of theirs to ask me what my name is when paying for the ticket???
The MCC cricket museum at Lords Cricket Ground is undoubtedly has the world’s comprehensive display of cricket memorabilia. All aspects of the games development over the centuries is covered and it’s not just England cricket all the Test playing nations get coverage. Of course for England and Australia fans the center piece is the tiny urn containing the ashes.
Great organised tour of the MCG, and interactive sports museum.
