i’m not normally one to write a review although the experience at this salon was not even mediocre. my friend and i booked appointments for 1pm and 1:30pm for an acrylic refill with shellac. we arrived 10 minutes prior to the 1pm appointment. my friend who’s appointment which was booked for 1 was not started in until 10 minutes past which was understandable as there was others in the salon. I was then started 10 minutes prior to my 1:30 appointment, had the acrylic shaved off and then left for 20 minutes before the acrylic was applied. the lady who applied the acrylic did a lovely job of both myself and my friend. when it came to the shellac application, for my friend it was okay but with some streaking, however for myself i got french tips. i showed her a reference photo and asked for the white tip to thin like in the photo. she did one nail and asked if it was a good thickness which it was and i was happy with (my pinky finger) as she moved on to the other nails it became thicker and the polish was being applied thickly and carelessly with shellac being put all over my hands as shown in the photos. she had to redo multiple nails several times and on my other hand the tips aren’t even at all. i was told it would be $15 extra for the french and a nail being fixed ontop of the $55 price for acrylic refill (total being $70). although when time to pay i payed $75 and not told why. overall was really disappointed with the service and would not be coming again

As a woman that has been to multiple nail salons, this one is on another level. Not only is the place clean and organised, everyone is friendly and their services are amazing. I went to get SNS on my nails and shellac on my toes and let me tell you, I have never been so happy EVER with the way it has turned out- not to mention (on my hands) even with a tip, it looks like my real nail! The attention to detail during my appointment was amazing and the little things just added to my experience. Little things such as being asked if I'd like a water/drink, hot towels covering my foot/ankle/shin area at the end of my pedicure just added to the experience here. The appointment did go for longer than I'd usually have at other nail salons, but trust me, when you go here you see why. The precision and work that is done is far greater in comparison to everyone else. I would highly recommend this salon to everyone I know and will be doing so!

I am not happy with the way my natural nails were filed by the technician. She went roughly up and down the nail sides with a coarse grade file and filed right down into the quick. I told her I was uncomfortable and pulled my hands away but she chose to continue and asked if I wanted my nails done or not and said it needed to be done for the shape. I told her this would weaken my nails and she said " no it wont". I trusted her and didn't want to make a fuss, but sure enough just days after the acrylic overlay they are breaking and peeling underneath. I didn't ask for coffin style nails, just square round and there was no need to file down the nail sides. I had maintained my natural nails for months at another salon with sns and they never filed them this way. I wont go back for this service again. I had had a pedicure here before and that was a positive experience. The salon has nice decor.

I have been to Moon a few times and today was the worst experience I have had. I am not unhappy with the colour but some of my nails are rugged at the edges, not smooth...so they will inevitably catch on my clothes. The staff member who attended to me was distracted the entire time I was there, while she was doing my pedicure and manicure. I was looking forward to a relaxing experience, but I ended up feeling more anxious than when I walked in. She was constantly looking around and talking to other people and then barked at me at the end to keep my hand under the light for one more time just before she left me and went to another client, I wasn't even finished. No hand massage or moisturiser after the manicure... I was just really underwhelmed and won't be returning.

I visited this salon for the first time today after noticing it when I was driving past on my way to somewhere else the week before. I arranged waxing services without any problems. The salon was very nicely set out, exceptionally clean and spotless and the beauty therapists were as gentle, as one can possibly be, with the waxing as I could have hoped. The prices for thorough and clean services are very good. I found they had a great range of waxes for all purposes including different hot wax for sensitive areas, different one for facial areas and strip waxes for the legs. I was impressed by their politeness. I arrived slightly early and was taken straight through. I'm sure I will be using the services again.

I have been coming to this salon for a few years now every three weeks. The last few times I have been treated poorly. My cuticles are cut til they bleed even after requesting that they discontinue. I have asked to have the shellac soak for longer before they drill it off and I get ignored. They have drilled so much my nail plates are thin and sensitive now. My last sns hands all cuticles bled and were sore for weeks. The salon is dirty and unkept. Lin is lovely and always does a great job. Unfortunately for her and Steve her new staff are really rude and bring them down. I’m sorry but I won’t be back. Shame

I have been coming for a number of years and for good reason but I was so disappointed today Customer service is not consistent i.e Always offered a drink , and a lovely massage at the end. I have had none of that the last several times and put it down to new staff. I had sns done and lots of residue stuck under my nails and asked for it be removed and was told just wash your hands a couple of times as she rushed to serve someone else. Probably minor complaint but I used to enjoy the extra care that is so lacking today

$45 for a normal pedicure is outrageous. Especially when they put on so many layers of polish to patch up the spots they initally missed. So, because of this, the layers of polish was so thick that they said I couldn’t put my shoes back on FOR AN HOUR or else it would get ruined. I’ve been getting my nails done for years and I’ve never had to wait an hour for my nails to dry or been told I couldn’t put my shoes back on. $45 for a job done poorly, needless to say I’m never going back here and you shouldn’t either.

I booked my grandmother for her regular fortnightly manicure, but I was slightly late due to her lifestyle and challenges in aged care. Instead of trying to fit in their regular elderly client, the salon tried to tell me someone had called yesterday to cancel, making this conversation heard by all clients who were listening and staring me down. Very unimpressed with service and making us leave when we never cancelled an appointment. I would never give this salon business given how they treated us.

I’m not one to write review but MOON deserves one!! Absolute 10/10. I went in for the first time today and the care each girl put into my nails was amazing. What I requested was a challenging designs but they stepped up and did a wonderful job. I have been to countless nail techs and never have I been somewhere that pays so much attention to detail. They clearly take great pride in their work and it shows. I will never be going anywhere else!!

I really love this nail salon. All the staff are so lovely and experienced - and the salon/equipment is always nice and clean. The email booking system is also really convenient - Linnie and Steven always respond so quickly and accommodate my booking requests. I really appreciate how the appointments run to time, as I've had bad experiences at other nail salons where appointments are often ignored. Highly recommend Moon!

The best nail salon I've ever been to by far. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel comfortable and relaxed. They were genuine, talking and laughing with us and upon arrival, they offered us free drinks and a massage (in a chair) while we had our pedicure. They have only been open for six weeks, we hope they do very well because they were very professional, can't wait to go again.

Always love the way my nails look afterward - perfect shape and colour, exactly what I want every time. They're very skilled technicians who know what they're doing. I do sometimes feel like they rush through, and getting a manicure and pedicure is a self care treat for myself. I'd love for them to slow down and let me enjoy the experience a little, but I know it's been very busy of late.

They did the French tip completely straight, the white part was horizontal. I asked for it to be more curved … which is normal and they charged me $65 instead of the normal $55 … if u can’t do French manicure why charge me extra for telling you how to do ur job.. it’s the simplest nail style literally. Don’t charge me an extra $10 because I said maybe do it more curved. Ridiculous

MOON is the best nail salon I’ve ever been to. Linnie and her staff are professional, kind, welcoming and fabulous at what they do. She and Steve are running a high quality business and their email booking service is a bonus. Highly recommend if you want your nails to look beautiful and are after a lovely, relaxing salon experience :)

Top notch experience - my nail technician was experienced, professional, thorough and meticulous in her application of my SNS black nails with white tips. Really enjoyed the experience and LOVE the nails - definitely recommend this company and I will be back again. The price was very reasonable too. 10/10 they really....nailed it <3

Changing my rating as the last few months I've come in I haven't been able to make an appointment within 4 days. I used to be able to come in for the same or next day. I've been going elsewhere. Before that, I loved the salon and was a regular that came in every few weeks. Great quality, nice clean salon and friendly staff.

Best nails I have ever had done from a local nail salon, the SNS isn’t overly thick and the nail artist absolutely nailed the design of the photo I showed her - super happy! I came in without an appointment and she still took her time and took so much care to makesure I received a quality nail service!

We have been to this nail salon three times now and each time has been fantastic. The salon is super clean and staff are very friendly. Never had a better manicure or pedicure. Linnie and Hannah are very particular about their work and take their time to make sure you are happy. Highly recommend!
