I ordered online nearly 3 weeks ago. I hadn't seen any status updates only: "preparing to ship" so I emailed customer service last week, I called, chatted & finally went in person to no avail. I spent over 45 minutes at Customer Service; the young lady there was very nice & tried to assist me. She phoned customer service and they placed me on hold several times. A manager came by as well, but in the end, nothing was done. They couldn't tell me if my order was going to ship & when it would ship. I asked if I could cancel my order and they said I had to wait 48 hours. Tomorrow morning it will be 72 hours! The thing is, when I emailed Macy's last week my auto reply stated I would get a reply in 48 hours! It has been over a week waiting for that. My payment has not been posted, but I feel as a consumer, I should be able to exercise my right to cancel my order & shop elsewhere. I feel they don't value or respect their customers. Extremely poor (NO) customer service. I'm the meantime, I am forced, as a hostage to wait to see if they feel like doing their job & honoring my request. UPDATE: 10/17/23 Sent complaint to BBB & investigation pending. Macy's cancelled PART of order but at my bank they are charging for ENTIRE order! NOW 2 day shy of a month when I originally ordered & their customer svc recording stating my order would arrive on SEPTEMBER 23rd Macy's order online states order in transit to store (So Park). If it ever does come in, I guess I will go to their customer service desk & promptly return it. FOR ANYONE WANTING TO ORDER FOR CHRISTMAS --- TAKE HEED! YOUR ORDER MAY BE DELAYED AND MACYS DOESN'T CARE IF ITS A MONTH LATE! THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A FARCE! I like the merchandise & if I shop there NOW through this experience, I know they are dishonest & as a consumer I couldn't even cancel my order to avoid running back and forth to Macy's. NOBODY at store or by phone Customer Service assisted me in resolving this issue. SHOPPERS BEWARE!

Had the pleasure to visit the Mac counter and was greeted by none other than this amazing woman named Lorena. Her outfit was amazing and her makeup was definitely very appealing. As she helped me pick out some items for a female friend, she even assisted me with some great choices of colognes. The encounter was very delightful, warming and she built great rapport. Ms Lorena is definitely the definition of true customer service, which is rare these days. And for her to go out of her way to encourage and make sales for others in different departments was just speechless. This woman is a go-getter and a true representation of what Macy's is all about. It's not the items you buy, it's the experience that is created by a special individual that makes you want to return again. Amazing just amazing. Great job Macy's, you have a true jewel in your hands. And thank you Ms Lorena, you left me speechless, had a great visit and my credit card is crying .... lol! Would do it again...

Chris from the Jewelry department made my transaction extremely unruly and uncalled for. When going to pick up an item for a friend (in which my number is written down and I have been called by the department secretary to pick it up) he proceeded to say that “the vibe” I was giving him was that I’m a complete stranger picking up an item. He commented that it seemed like I was avoiding calling my friend. When I called my friend to confirm, Chris had me hang up just for him to call her himself at the very number he said was not written down anywhere. At the end of the transaction, Chris handed me my receipt and the jewelry walked away. As much as I appreciate Chris protecting this jewelry with his life, his attitude was unsettling and uninviting and he does not showcase the value of “strengthening customer relationships.”

I had a horrible experience ordering an online I didn't discover it until I got to the store the bottle was cracked. And everything came in plastice bagsI wondered why my bottle was was emptying so fast. It damaged my dresser. I did have to go back but they did take very good care of me the second time I went. Thank yall. Now I know NO more online perfume shopping for me online. The ladies are nice and knowledgeable especially Betty. She works in men's but that girl know cologne like the back of her hand. That's my go to place now. Lessons learned. Now to figure out how to repair my dresser. I have my go to people now to take care of me. Thanks ladies! A few picktues the perfume and the damage thqt was done smh. Would've gotten a 5 star of I didn't have go twice to get what I paid for.

Macy's was barely acceptable or tolerable. I did buy a bottle of Prada Carbon while I was there and the lady "Betty" that assisted me was very nice and helpful. For that I do appreciate such service. The store itself is part of a ghetto called south park mall and you can see it from the moment you walk through the doors. This store looked to be a wreck...dirty, unorganized and poorly presented. That's not Macy's. If Walmart sold slightly better items...that's how this Macy's felt from the onset. I would hope Macy's management team would take a look at this and fix it. Your prices are perfectly fine and reasonable...this store is poorly presented and needs to reflect the higher standards I expect from Macy's.

The escalator was down. It felt a lil scary and unsafe to use as a stairway. We found the clothes we were there to purchase. The checkout went well. Very nice cashier. I wasn't nagged to get the dam credit card like most other Macys locations. I was asked but very politely and not pushy at all. We returned for a second purchase of a cologne right at closing. We had to wait a few minutes because the employee was helping another customer but when it was our turn she took her time and explained the difference in colognes and let my son smell samples of the two to choose from. She was very helpful and patient and speedy at checkout time. Overall a good shopping experience.

Quality never goes out of style at Macy's! Everything you need for your home all in one place!!!! The staff at the South Park Mall location are very friendly. They really go out of their way to help! I use a walker, so sometimes it difficult to carry items around while shopping when I'm by myself. They staff member offered to carry my comforter set to the counter and hold it there for me until I was ready to checkout. She then came back to walk around with me while I continued to shop for a bedding set for my little boy. Quality service just can't be bought!!!!

Went into the store thought it would take me 2 minutes to find what I needed after three people told me three different spots I went to a individual contractor in the store and she was able to call someone and ask and they told her it should be there if they don't have it means they don't have any she did suggest going upstairs to the backstage I think it was called but they didn't have nothing. You would think a high in store would have things for women like undergarments or hosiery in the sizes or styles that they needed not well you can order it online.

So as you enter the Macy’s store, they have a sign displaying they give a 20% discount to military members/ veterans but that is not the truth. I purchased a lingerie outfit totaling over$100 ( not on sale) and they did not honor their military 20% discount. Not one employee could tell me why. Please don’t offer a military discount if Macy’s won’t honor it. How fake is that. Terribly misleading advertisement to take advantage of military members. Don’t give a discount to the military if you’re not going to honor it. It’s better to not be fake.

First I'd like to say that I'm giving the store 2 stars and not the employee because the employee was great, my review is total for the store owners or higher management that make the rules, the transaction went well until she gave me my total and she said "would you like to round it off to make it an even total"?, I was floored so I asked are you giving something? She said no! Ok I said let me ask you something!! If I was lacking the .70 cents on my total would you let me have the merchandise? Poor thing had no answer. MACY'S DO BETTER!!

One of the few Macy's stores left in San Antonio, can be found here a South Park Mall! It's a great store, has all the same nice offerings, products, and name brands you'd expect to find at any other Macy's! Friendly staff, clean and bright environment. It's nice to have a Macy's on the south side! I went in to buy some Levi's jeans. The young lady who helped me was very nice. I found some jeans I liked, went and tried them on. The fitting room was nice and clean too. I made my purchase. I would definitely come here again!

Clean & organized but it has a small footprint, meaning, limited selection of merchandise. The Bad: 3 of us customers were looking for the presence of a salesperson. There were only 2 visible on the 1st floor. Had to go from the shoe dept to the opposite end for someone to ring me up. The men's bathroom was soooo smelly, dirty & stained with urine on the floor (you read right). It was yucky bad. The pic doesn't show the details mentioned here. Something is really wrong with the Macy's brand!

The ladies at the makeup counter (Estee Lauder/Lancome) were great. They were very friendly and helped me and my daughter find all the face care products we were looking for. When in the jewelry the man who assisted me was extremely helpful. I am very picky about the type of jewelry i wear because I'm allergic to everything. He was very knowledgeable about the pieces he was selling. He sold me a couple pairs of earrings and a few anklets. They are still my favorite items to this day.

Very senior Mom and I were Christmas shopping for hours and holding everything at a register. The cashier went on break and everything was reshopped. The makeup and perfume girls never offered to help, assist or answer questions but the workers reshop our items? So many other things that can be done than to waste shoppers time trying to find things you put back. For example, the bathrooms are atrocious. Soap dispensers were empty and paper littered all over the floor.

Horrible experience returning a bathing suit on the 30th day after I purchased it.... It had not been used at all and it still had the tags on it and I purchased it with my store card. They would not return it. No was the answer!! So no is my answer to them from now on..... The cashier even told the manager it's within the time to refund it. Nope she wouldn't do it and customer service was of no help either. For a higher end store I rate their customer service a 1.

They are always awesome!! Every year for Christmas I get my Michael Kors shoes here. They are of good quality and always seem to get all kinds of positive attention. The MAC store in here is also amazing for quick run ins, never a wait time. And they have a Sunglasses hut inside also. I purchased a pair of Ray bans over a year a ago and they still look brand new!! And they always have the latest perfumes. Come check them out!

I decided to bless each one of my three boys with their very own Fossil watch for their birthdays this year. The selling associate 10268367 assisted us in May and then again today. Her customer service was outstanding and it was refreshing to see that she remembered us from May and our story. We have one more son in December to purchase for and I pray she will be there to assist. Both experience was very pleasant.

Went in like around 7:20 needed an out fit for my bf and girl comes and tells me we're closing at 8 today she was nice about it but then again at 7:30 they tell me again. At that point I told my bf to leave the clothes there in the fitting room and let's go!!! They want us out then we should get the hell out of here.. other than that the lady working at mac in Macy's very awesome great service

Most of all the shopping stores under one roof. All A.C. controlled. Only thing is their restrooms are only at one end of the Mall. unless you are shopping ️ at Macy's. Over all it's a nice Mall to shop at. Very convenient to interstate highway 35 south. And North. Plenty of other department stores all around and restaurants nearby.. GREAT PLACE FOR A WORK OUT......

No one seemed to know where what I needed was at when I finally found it they didn't have what I needed in the size then I was told to go upstairs they might have it in the back room area it's a bargain basement they didn't have it so just wasted 20 minutes looking for something when someone could have maybe put it in the system and found out if you even had any in stock

There was a gentleman working in the cookware where I was I was over there at the men's department and there was a lot of people and he said you know what sir you need to you can come over here to the register and I can get yours out as soon as possible and there was very polite older gentleman with the goatee sport coat guy very knowledgeable very polite I enjoy that

Always very bright & stylish. Decorated for Christmas very nicely and wasn't a big mess either! The lines were manageable, for being so close to Christmas. As always the jewelry so beautiful greets you as your walking in! I love the makeup and perfume area, its my favorite part of the store. Customer service was good & helpful. I was looking for formal dresses at a reasonable price...found them! I had been here a few weeks ago but didn't find anything. Looks like the fall clothes and special occasion dresses came in. Now they have a better selection and more sizes. The staff was friendly and helpful. No specials on undergarments, though. Will have to go somewhere else for that.

Had to return the item replacing the original item shoes. Giving up shopping Macy's online. Not saving any time so completely inconvenient. In store stock is pretty lame. The only reason for this review is the clerk who helped me. The first one waved me forward and then disappeared? The one who helped me was polite and respectful to me and the lady before me.

I love this store..they have alot of merchandise..different things..and I love shopping there. Good quality kitchen products, bathroom products and clothes..but the kitchen area.had more things but they downsized it. I loved the kitchen plates and I dont see them here..i like to see what i buy. This is a good store! Here in the mall.this is my favorite.store.

It's nice to have a store with quality merchandise close by when I get the urge to buy something fun. Today's visit was an impulse trip and I was glad to see the store looking neat, clean, organized, and shelves well stocked, something that's been missing from other retailers as the pandemic winds down (hopefully).

There was only one register open in the entire area. The cashier was an older lady who was very rude to all the customers. She never called for help when needed, just waited until she saw employees walking by and hoped they knew how to do things. I will make the extra drive to not go to this location again.

It's a small Macy's, had some good sales. I really was just checking that mall out and ended up buying my husband some cologne. There were very few associates to help, but I finally had a lady who was willing to help me with my purchase. I have always loved Macy's. I so far have not had a complaint.

I was shocked to see how dirty the store on SW Military Dr. in San Antonio was. The carpets had huge stains and it looks like they haven't been vacuumed in quite a while.. Normally I don't complain but it was disgusting. I felt dirty when I walked out of the store. It was filthy.

Best Macy’s ever. The managers are incredible. I fainted and they were all there for me. Never left my side. I love Macy’s and the employees .They work hard to organize the store . With very little help. Macy’s backstage upstairs has wonderful low prices as well. Thank you Macys.

A really sweet Macy's it is a lot smaller than the original in NYC, but to be honest it is very beautifully organized! The prices range from $3 to $1000 . But to be honest you can find wonderful deals here all the time! The staff is super friendly and always willing to listen.
