I had a very difficult eviction to handle and I made it to the magistrate office 15 minutes before closing, as it was an hour to get there due to traffic. I had to leave my elderly parents with fragile health with a caregiver. The kind clerk understood my urgency and she went to the computers with me to help me file my case. (It is not easy to know what to type in the complex online application form and I've worked in the computer field for 40 years.) We finished just in time! but the system failed to take my credit card payment correctly even though the card was working fine. She was genuinely concerned for me and my difficult tenant situation. So, I had to go home and come back early the next day. When I arrived they told me all the computer systems were not working for a few hours and folks were waiting till the systems came up again, to file the applications. I could not wait and leave my parents alone with a caregiver for a long time. The same clerk recognized me and she and another clerk asked the manager to help me asap. They all worked on it by hand and they got my eviction application processed quickly so I could go home and take care of my 2 parents more quickly. The Sheriff served the paperwork to my tenant within 6 days! (including 2 days during the weekend). The online filing process for eviction is very very cumbersome but the people all treated me so professionally and with great care to work quickly due to my concern for my parents being without me.

Last week I spent 3 days off and on speaking with employees in the Civil Court to try and resolve a Plaintiff filing "Continuing Garnishment" paperwork against someone who owes us money. They finally told me that I had to come down to Fulton County to have my signature notarized by the Clerk of the Court and it wasn't possible to file this electronically. Well, what little do these individuals know, but I spent 2 hours in Magistrate Court this morning filing these papers, and could have filed them on line. Also, these employees in the Clerk of the Court Civil Division office are rude, disrespectful and have entirely too much time on their hands whereby they should be assisting individuals with information, ONCE THEY LEARN WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO DO! and what protocol to follow. I was ignored 3 times by the same person and stood in line waiting and waiting. One employee, male, was texting and playing with Christmas decorations instead of helping customers. Do you realize if it wasn't for my fees that you wouldn't have a job? I contribute towards your hourly pay, your benefits and your vacation time. I am done with this court. Fire the whole bunch of them and hire individuals that want and need to work, because obviously these people don't! Thank you.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The clerks are very rude and unprofessional. To start, I received a letter from this office stating that a hearing for a case against me was scheduled for less than 48 hours from the time I received the letter. However, the date on the letter was dated a month back. This makes no sense to me. Called to clarify, and the chick who answered the phone was very rude and acted as if I was irritating her while I was explaining the situation and asking questions. I could hear her blowing her breath on the other end, and she even took it as far as to not respond to one of my questions, leaving me to say "helloooo" at least three times. I called back around 4:15 pm to ask another question and no one answered the phone. I called at least 4 times back to back and no one answered the phone either time. Lastly, the fact that you have to pay $7.00 to file some damn papers is ridiculous and a rip off!! Ima need y'all to get it together because we as a community don't pay you to be rude and not assist customers. If you don't like your job, please move the hell on. DONE WITH THIS PLACE.

What in the world are we paying these public servants for? They are NASTY, HOSTILE, IRRIRTATED and most importantly, IGNORANT OF COURT RULES. First and foremost, Crystal (Court supervisor I, small claims division) is a stain on the reputation of southern etiquette. If you happen to interact with her, be forewarned that you will be talked over, talked down to and dismissed. Fulton County has invested a lot of OUR money into updated technology, talking kiosks, etc. When really, they should invest in staff that is going to SERVE the public with politeness, friendliness, helpfulness and knowledge. I'd much prefer that than a fancy courthouse filled with incompetent ogres. Anytime you ask these lazy staff city employees a question, they reply with "we cannot give legal advice." Wanting clarification on court rules and venue is not, is not, is not legal advice!!!

The lady working behind the 'Customer Service' desk on 7/30/19 has such a sour attitude that it was a disgrace to have her deal with customers. Giving her the benefit of doubt, I can only assume she is going through PMS. When you ask her questions she acted like it was outside of her job description. She was more interested in her cellphone than actually helping customers. Why put Ms. PMS to be in charge of customer service? I get way better service at Chic-Fil-A fast food, which entertains A LOT MORE customers than I do from Ms. PMS here. Contrary to this, the young man that was walking around helping people with questions and computer issues are full of positive attitude and made customers feel like...well....customers! Way better attitude and a lot more pleasant dealing with him!

Wow, I read the bad reviews and gave them a try. Amazing! I was trying to get the name of a registered agent for a business after checking with the GA Sec of States office. She had no clue what I was talking about. I explained and she gave me the name of arresting officers. Oh my! Then, I asked to speak to someone else since she had no clue what I was talking about. Then she asked me to hold and disconnected me. Fire the whole staff from top to bottom. Come on, they can do better.

This court is absolutely terrible. The staff is extremely rude and they never bother to answer the phones. It takes a full 24 hours to reach anyone here and you will only get a response if you email the clerk directly. Absolutely ridiculous. I hate to even have to deal with Fulton County courts. They are the worst with Dekalb coming in close second. They need to hire individuals without attitude problems and that are willing to do their jobs.

If you think the customer service is horrible what do you think the attitudes of these judges and lawyers are. This place is a circus the entire system is a joke. The bad attitudes are to cover up the corruption of lawyers , judges and law clerks. These people are stealing and corrupt . You can discern this by the Frontlines attitudes. As soon as heads roll and they tell on each other come back and visit. They will be real humble.

The magistrate court put a eviction on my screening and I have never lived in the apartment that's listed. I have pretty good credit but with this eviction my life is f@#=$d. I can't rent an apartment that's decent and when get ready to purchase a house God only knows. This is no fault of mine. I've never been evicted.... I don't know who to address to rectify this matter. I just want it removed immediately.

Complicit with the police department of South Fulton taking vehicles from people who haven't committed a crime. Just Google South Fulton county and civil safety forfeiture. They took a girls work van and never gave it back. There were many victims, her story is just one that stands out.
