Mai Lashes is really great in terms of service & space. The staff are extremely friendly and very professional. I was greeted promptly and warmly as I walked in by a lovely lady who made sure I was comfortable and attended to throughout the whole time I was here. All the staff were very polite and engaging. The environment was also very warm and inviting, well-presented and clean. The beds are lovely complete with sheer privacy curtains and blankets, but not the most comfortable to lay on for more then 2 hours. In terms of product, as they warned me I did react to the products used during application as it stung my eyes a little which made them watery. I'm not usually sensitive so this surprised me, but I still felt quite relaxed throughout. Their prices are bit expensive as the lashes aren't the very best but they aren't bad. Just not as fluffy as I was hoping. They did apologise for taking longer than expected but I understood as it was very intricate work for the style I chose. I do wish I knew about the curl styles beforehand so I could have chosen

I have been seeing Mai, Yuka and Marika for my lash extensions for about one year now getting three weekly refills. The team is so lovely and each of the ladies are amazing. As an optometrist eye health is very important to me. I love getting my lashes done here because I am confident the skill with which the lashes are applied has meant that my lashes and eye health are completely unaffected. The hygiene in the salon is at a very high standard and the space is comfortable. At my first consult Mai took the time to tailor a lash style for me that would suit my daily routine and desired look. Marika has been happy to change the style whenever I want to try a different look. With the products they use and the way they are applied I find my retention amazing - even after three weeks I still receive compliments on the lashes and they are so comfortable it feels like they’re not their at all. The only downside is that the service here is so good that the salon is very busy so make sure to book far in advance.

I went here on a whim because I saw my hairdresser went here and I love my hair dresser — best decision ever. I had no idea how much better lash lifts could be. I had always found lash lifts quite uncomfortable because I have sensitive eyelids/eyes — but the extreme care that goes into your experience here is totally unmatched. The amount of care, energy, skill, and effort that goes into every aspect of this business and service honestly blew me away. I have to try so hard not to fall asleep during my lash lift. The attention to detail is unreal — from the snuggly blankets/bed/decor through to each lash carefully being placed/monitored throughout the procedure… seriously blown away! I had my lashes and eyebrows done for my wedding. The space is very clean, smells divine and the staff are all so lovely. The application was very relaxing I nearly fell asleep. This was my first ever lash lift (or last anything) experience, and I was simply blown away by the level of care and professionalism demonstrated by the staff at Mai Lashes Toowong. The staff were so warm and polite, and there was a beautifully calm energy about the entire place. The service and results were amazing! The atmosphere was so calm and comfortable. They played gentle music and offered you a blanket if you were cold. It was so relaxing I almost fell asleep! A lady named Satsuki applying my lash extensions, and despite still being a trainee she did an amazing job! The extensions made my lashes look longer, fuller, and curlier, but still looked pretty natural. They lasted for weeks too! Really enjoyed my experience here today! I initially went in for a lash lift but they were honest about what results I could achieve so I ended up choosing classic extensions instead. Very clean place and my technician was so careful that my eyes didn’t sting even once during the whole procedure (including when she shampoo’d my lashes). Do yourself a favour and get your lashes done by Mai! I have had my lashes done by a few people over the years and Mai is the only one who did a consult that involved checking the length against my eyes and walking me through the process. She performed a lash bath to begin (how many people do that) and she had worked wonders on my very hooded eyes. It looks amazing and I feel good.

I get my lash lift only at Mai lashes. I have tried so many different salons but I was not able to find one that I want to go back.
