Steve, Shane, and their team do fantastic work. They make a really high quality dog-loaf, which is economical and easy to serve, plus dried liver treats which our pooch will do ANYTHING for. Their range of meat (for human consumption) is also high quality, and also varies according to the season and their suppliers, but it's important to note that they actually make a lot of their own marinaded and pre-assembled offerings, like kebabs, stir-fries, rolled-chicken dishes, sausages, etc. They will prepare special cuts to order, and even pre-pickled a couple of ox-tongues for me to jelly for a special old-fashioned Christmas dish. Most important of all, they are all really friendly and helpful.

On holiday from Perth. Wanting meat for a BBQ. The Red Wine Sausages were AMAZING! A big hit with everyone! Will be back in a few months ... will be worth the trip to Healesville to get some more for our family function Have to mention ... that old fashioned Butcher's Shop smell was sooo nostalgic

Fantastic smoked goods. The smoked pork chops are what get us through the door every time. Usually grab the smoked chicken breast and bacon whilst we are there as well. When it is available, the beef bacon is a rare treat. Love it.

Have bought house made kabana both variety's are delicious. The gourmet sausages and regular sausages are both yummy. Appreciated the butcher giving me advice on cooking the freshly made sausages. Will return.

Paid $11 for 5 sausages and when I cooked them the grease was floating in the pan, the sausages were SO salty that my wife could not eat them. Had to throw them away. Sorry I expect more from the sausage king.
