This park means alot to me over the past many years. Dramas and real life entertainment is not an exception there but it's still a place that connects me to beautiful neighbors and friends in the hood. It's a place I feel at home and will always be the same. There is something about that Park that always calm me and ease the tension life brings to me. We shared our laughter and cry in many ways with one and other and reach out with caring hearts. I remembered old friends that passed on and that are no longer there with us but Marks Park never looses the values it beholds and the hope we hope for . I can't go to my home without not stopping by and relax a few minutes b4 proceeding. That Park will always be a part of me. lots and lots of memories from long ago and it's still a big part of my life !!! Love u all my neighbors and friends !!!

If you have a family, stay clear of this park. From open drug sales, wino’s drinking, methadone users nodding, and people smoking. Your kids don’t need to see this. The cops rarely patrol and only come when there is a incident. Usually 2 bums fighting over a bottle of wine or prescription pills. There are some really good people that come here, like the elderly. They come to reminisce of the good old days in the West Indies and sometimes feed the pigeons. Or the Muslim ladies dressed in hijab that walk around the park together in a group. Or immigrant families that bring strollers with their kids here. But the bad outweighs the good.

Not the best of parks .but not the worst of parks.this little park is basically a sitting area, but you have quite a few homeless folks that call this place home sometimes. It looks to me that this park has gotten a little better over the years. For the hillside jamaica queens neighborhood over there. You have plenty of benches to sit down at ,you also have numerous restaurant and bodegas in the area. So as far as eating options while at the park is pretty good. It seems to have more of a little police presence over there .for the kids and family's to enjoy their selves. Because it is a not a bad area.

Well, this park is amazing, specially in during the summer time and this park is located in Jamaica queens new york so if you or your loved one has a little free time then they should at least visit this place once in a life trust me I also visited today and I really enjoyed a lot.Sometime staying inside at home might be boring but going outside and exploring new places is always good for health.so whenever you are free, just go outside may be in the park or somewhere else and explore the beauty of nature.you will definitely feel good.

There's this girl that hangs out here that name I think is Megan and she's a train wreck she looks like a skeleton who badly needs a bottle of shampoo and she just smokes crack right out in the open like she's in her room where anyone can see what she doing and this was at 9am and the dealers jus hang there for people to buy crack all day long and Megan's boyfriend who follow her around like a dog begging for a hit of crack is even worse my advice would be dont bring kids here

If I were you I wouldn't go near this place. I parked my car by the statue. I noticed a large amount of shady people there. They left the park filthy! They left papers on the park benches to fly off. Threw empty cigarette packs on the ground. And the police just drive by seeing this crowd. Across the street starts Jamaica Estates which has 1.5-2 mil.$ homes.

I love this park but I always watch my kids which make me tenc because there are no protector for kids and heavy traffic are in motion around the park. The local people making it dirty . There are a lot of trash bins but when thay eat than put trash bottles etc. Bricks are damage on floor. I can work volunteer if they need labor for renovation.

This has to honestly be the most disgusting park in Jamaica.. Heck all of queens the City parks department no longer even cleans this park and they better not come up here saying they do because that's a damn lie. I haven't seen them in months cleaning this park.

This is a cute little park, it doesn't have a lot but it's a nice space to rest and relax for a while, the only problem is that this park has been overtaken by homeless people, drinkers and marijuana smokers,so I avoid coming here

A busy Park usually visited by Bangladesh Muslim folks and others. Most mornings you can find homeless folks and sometimes people who use drugs making use of the area as a drug user treatment center is close by.

It's a nice park. Plenty of benches and the Statue. The part that ruins the park it the drug addicts and bums. They use drugs in the park, sleep on the benches and urinate everywhere in the middle of the day.

Isn't always kept well, and has yet to be given a fresh look or new coating to its segment floor. I hate to see a nice park with its statue missing g piece when it could be replaced with something new.

Shouldn't be described as a park! I say this because there isn't much space it's more like those grassy patches between streets.. It has benches to sit but I would recommend watching where you sit..

Absolutely loved it, went there with my wife, the people sitting on the benches were all so friendly and quick to greet us, great location,with everything you need within a stone's throw from you,

The park is beautiful and the statue is stunning! Dpt of parks is there weekly to clean but with the homeless it's hard to keep up. Always a nice place to sit for a nice talk or cup of coffee.

Stop here for deli on 173rd , statue look cool,many homeless sleeping on the bench, not sure anyone come to maintenance , so far I saw overloaded garbage bin not been collecting for sometime

It’s not much of a park more like yard with a Beautiful statue which is the best part. The park dirty. It’s in the middle of Heavy traffic so you will be in auto fumes. Not safe.

It’s a small nice park not bad. Only problem is the people who pollutes the environment! Due to the environment I am rating 2 star. It looks cool from the bird eye view point!

This park is filled with one side of crack heads and the other side alcoholics. Its not safe here. And not enclosed for dogs. I've seen people get hurt here and ambulances.

You only see drunk people or crackheads, I do not recommend this place for children. I feel insecure walking through. It should have more supervision from police

It's a nice park with benches, but unfortunately there's a methadone clinic a block. So away many of the patients from the clinic like to hang out in the park

Small park, but enough room for your children to bike in circles or play tag. There are also benches close by so you can watch your children.

The park looks as if it was never cleaned, has people sleeping on benches some even arguing with each other and this was early in the morning

I felt safe shopping in there. The floors were very clean and the shelves are very well organized and the staff member was very helpful
