I chose Mal Cutler as they were a preferred partner of my insurance company for a smash repair as their reviews are mostly good. They accepted the repair and my car was towed to them which became a 2 day process. Once it got there I was told id be told in a day or so how long the repairs would take. 3rd day afternoon I get a call from an assessor saying they can't start work on the car for 3-4 weeks. Not due to the parts not being available as another repairer is able to start work immediately. I am told they are booked out for 3-4 weeks and can only start then. On top of that the assessor wants me to be thankful that they gave me this info... 3 days late . 0 star rating for 3 days wasted, dishonesty and my hire car days also being wasted. Beware doing a repair here that they give you a realistic timeframe on bookings before you go through all the effort of getting your car there. Again to reiterate this was not a part related delay and that they were booked out. Cannot understand a professional business operating this way.

I was in a very serious car accident. Normally you hear such negative things about smash repairers. Frank and his team however are absolutely wonderful. The care and compassion he showed to me and my car i wont ever forget. My car is my world. Seeing my car in such a battered shape broke me down. He repaired and looked after my car with such care and love it was as if it was his own. He was always happy to take my calls and speak to me. He provided me weekly updates and even explained to me the breakdown of the costs of the repairs and what each part did. I honestly cannot thank him enough. My car is perfect and i feel very happy. Thankyou frank and the team. It means a lot to me. For all those that have been in a car accident. Your car is in great hands. Have no worries. Him and his team are the best!!! Unfortunately I have had to use Mail Cutler for 2 not at fault smash repairs. Frank and his team are very friendly and helpful, professional and fast with their work. They are so good which meant waiting a long time for my booking - this time I had to wait 3 months - Seems everyone agrees! Frank even got his staff to take my car to have a mechanic check over tyre problems after I picked up my car from them. Even though it wasn’t related to their work, they still looked after me. I just wanted to check if they had noticed this problem during the repairs. Appreciate your professionalism! As much as I want to see you again, I don’t think it would be for good reasons! Thank you

I recently had my car worked on by Frank and the team and I cannot thank them enough. They were extremely quick and meticulous with their work. I was always kept in the loop and they refused to give me my car back unless it was perfect on acquisition which it was! GREAT service and repair by Franky from Mal Cutler. Originally had my 2020 Subaru WRX repaired elsewhere and was an unprofessional job. The paintwork was disgusting, panels were uneven and most importantly internal damage was left untouched, trying to cover it with the new panels installed. I was referred to Mal Cutler by NRMA, and am very thankful. Car looks brand new with everything repaired like nothing has happened. Amazing repairer, friendly service, would recommend to everyone.

Very good workmanship, I had a bird dropping on the roof of the car which corroded the paint work. Other repairer said I have to replace whole roof. But Mal had fixed it without replacing roof and it looks like brand new. I also had few small scratches on the car and now that's all repaired and I am very happy with the results. The quote was very reasonable for this type of repairs, I highly recommend this company. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Thank you for the good work.

My Suzuki Ignis was towed to Mal Cutler after being smashed by a 60 tonne truckie around a month ago. Frank, Steve & the team knew exactly what they were doing and they were honest about the repair progress. When I picked up my car, it looked as good as new! Great work, positive and helping attitude and on time delivery. My two vehicles Toyota Prado and Camry fixed here for hail damage. Steve and Frank both really good guys and always willing to help you with repairs of your vehicles. They do a good paint job and when delivering the car is neet and clean. Great customer service, they go above and beyond and are just truly wonderful. The car came back perfect after someone smashed into me. I had to go back after some clips were ordered from Japan and Frank even helped me with my number plate as it was bent and the plastic cover snapped after the fix. These guys know customer service !! Insurance sent my car to Mal Cutler for repair 2 weeks ago, Frank and his team did really good job and kept my in touch with every process and providing me the pictures;even small scratch they fixed it very good.
