Update: was 5star.. however recently this place has gone down hill. €200 for an oil change? sure the Audi dealer is cheaper... Picked up a car and advised all the shocks and suspension needed replacing... Interesting as they were only replaced 15,000km ago "what exactly is the problem?".. "I don't know".. "so.. can anyone here explain the problem?".. "no, but they need replacing".. "okay, so have you a quote?".. "nah pal we'll call ye in a few days".. follow up a few weeks later and no record of the car in the shop.. ah lads, I will not be coming back here and will be recommending everyone to avoid. Had second opinion from local mechanic and no issue with shocks and suspension... Cowboys Old review: Great team in here. Excellent communication throughout all services and repairs whether major or minor. Honest, trustworthy, reliable and good value, with quick turnaround. Highly recommend.

Edit.. recently Darren, the owner, got in touch with me following up and explaining that electrical faults can come and go and are not always easily detected. He has offered me a One4All voucher to compensate for my experience with his garage. Although my car was not fixed, I'm changing my rating to 3 stars as the customer care is great... Would not recommend... my car was towed to this garage with a power loss issue. They recommended connection clean and throttle body clean. Did that, charged me for it, my car was with them for 4 days. I collected it Tuesday morning and was told car was fine. 2 days later car lost its power again. Brought it to a different garage and it turned out it was a faulty ignition coil... Will not use this place again.

This place was recommended by 1 or 2 friends, my car needed a service, went up the lads had it booked in for a time and day that suited, was regularly updated on what they were doing and what needed to be done, was told my car would be finished at a certain time and they were finished bang on time, it's hard to find a reliable garage but I will be sticking with these guys in coolock from now on, I even got my car back washed and cleaned inside free of charge, thanks again lads would definitely recommend and will be back again.

Had work done on my car a while back and brought it to the NCT a few months later only to fail on the very thing that they were supposed to have done ? When I brought the car back I wanted the pair of parts replaced on nearside and offside. When I told them that they had already replaced one of the parts before all they did was shrugged and didn't charge for the part. So they charged for labour twice for doing the job once. I had work done previously that i was happy with but since this deception I wouldnt recommend.

I brought Toyota here for an exhaust repair and the guys there knew exactly what the problem was. They fixed it in a few days as they had to order the part in. They also fixed the screen wash pipe. Nothing was a problem to them and they were very good at communicating as they kept me informed of the cost of the repairs after they assessed the car and during the repair process. They even washed the car inside and out. This was the third time I brought a car here because I am always happy with the work they do.

Just back from Malahide Autos having dropped my car in for some minor repairs. Top quality service. Friendly, accommodating and trusting service. I usually feel a bit intimidated walking into these places feeling I will be ripped off but I was treated as a valued customer. I dealt with Paul and he was very helpful. Also spoke to Darragh who was very friendly and helpful. Car was also cleaned which was an unexpected bonus ! Highly recommended and will be back for a service soon

I asked for a quote using their website about 7 days ago, and since then I haven't heard from them. If I'm getting this kind of low quality customer service even before taking the car to them, I don't even want to think about how would it be once the car is there and a problem comes up for discussion. Replacing parts in a car is something that any trained mechanic can do, what really makes the difference between one shop and another is the customer service! Keep that in mind!

Having read all of the positive reviews on Google I decided to use Malahide Autos for a full service and NCT check. Excellent service from Darren and the Team. They were very thorough, efficient and friendly. Darren took the time to explain what work needed to be done and they were able to get the service finished quickly. Malahide autos is exceptionally run. With tradesmen that have a perfect eye for detail and are quick and precise at their work. I know this first hand as I went in with my timing chain on my mercedes snapped and before I knew it my car was ready to be collected and was spotlessly clean. Brought my VW for a timing belt change. Staff very friendly and responsive. They vacuumed the interior and shined the tyres. Wasn't really expecting that. Work was done on the same day and all my questions and checks were done. Really happy with the results and price. Will be using these garage for all repairs and service now.

Had to have a wiper motor replaced recently, and Mark and his team pulled out all the stops to have it repaired before Christmas. They completely valeted the car to showroom standards. I found all the staff at the Malahide Rd garage polite and very customer orientated. Malahide Autos do not disappoint and well worth a call.

got my fuel injectors done on my car around 2 months ago and the boys done a great job no more fuel leaks and to make it better they gave the car a complimentary clean and my car was wrecked before they got a hold of it, unbelievable customer service i will defiinately be using again!
