Summary: it's ok, but you can probably do better The basics are in order; the main beds are comfortable and the rooms are fine. Nothing fancy by any stretch of imagination though, and especially the bathrooms are starting to feel a little tired and old. The shower head is nowhere near high enough to stand under, which as a tall person is always annoying. This is also a hotel with rooms up to 2bdrm apartments, so we all know what that means right? Lots of kids. Make of that what you want. The 2bdrm apartments technically sleep 6, but really I'd say 4 - the double sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable and not suitable for adults. The mediocre breakfast is served on the ground floor in a space that is far too small for the hotel capacity. You're better off not eating at the hotel - there are many cafe options nearby that are better. The bright spot is the sauna which, while small, actually gets to a decent temperature and one you can have a good "löyly" at. Stayed here twice now, and the experience has been neither overwhelmingly good nor bitterly disappointing. It's ok, but next time I'm going elsewhere.

The rooms are very clean and Beautifully presented. The staff were wonderful, and helped out with any of our requests. Location is great, literally just over the bridge, and around the corner from Flinders Street station. Would definitely stay here again.

Easy location to find, easy to walk to C.B.D or any where else. We walked everywhere from there. The little IGA down the road is very expensive, but we found a woolies not too far away.

The kitchen was not open for anything but breakfast, but that was OK for us, however for some reason, uber eats wouldn't deliver there either. We did have a drink in the bar, which was lovely.

Requested early check in and it was delayed over an hour after a normal 2 pm check in, finally got into our room after 3pm. House keeping never showed and we're called multiple times. When they finally showed up my family we sitting down to eat in our room. Rubbish was removed and 1 bed was made. Restaurant minimal menu would have been fine but even with the small selection multiple meals werent available. Pre booked a buffet breakfast for my family only to have no seating available for us, again having to wait despite having a booking. Facilities were great and the location perfect. I had the unfortunate experience today of recieving the most inconsiderate and frankly insensitive customer service from Mantra Southbank. Upon speaking to the hotel about the need to either cancel or at the least transfer my booking date for my stay due to the fact an immediate family member is actively dieing, i was advised that the full rate would apply and that nothing could be done. All this coordination occuring whilst i need to be with my family during a difficult time. Sarah from the bookings office was fantastic and she herself advised that this response wasnt good enough. I now stand to loose my money with not a hoot given. I will never be using any hotel from the accor group in future and will be cancelling my accor group membership.

Rooms are not set up for the amount of people staying there. Not enough towels we were told they didn't even have wash clothes. Our hot water stopped working so we couldn't shower and they had no other rooms for us. The dishwasher doesn't work properly and the cooktop is so old you will burn or under cook your food. Our fridge is missing shelfs. We were told one more day before they would get us another room. They keep give us the run around. Been here 3 days and not getting any better.

My first time staying here for work and WOW, what a great spot. Easy access to everything including the city, trams and food. Staff were super lovely and helpful with food recommendations. The room is amazing. Beyond affordable, quality finishes, comfy bed and really good shower pressure.

Late night check-in. Night Manager was friendly and quickly sorted out our paperwork and suggested a good coffee shop. 1 bedroom premium apartment on level 11 nice views over the arts precinct and the domain and gardens. It's a great sized apartment, a full kitchen, and a nice bathroom with a half sized bath. Comfortable bed. Nicely appointed furnishings. Love Mantra properties.

Melbourne cup was on when arrived so rushed through ,then the room key wouldn't work ,Not very clean in room , broken glass in picture frames hang on wall which is dangerous with kids ,there was even sticky tape on the ceiling from a party soneone had previously in the room also some curly ones around, Missed out on breakfast as in the web site it says kitchen was closed and wasn't informed at desk on arrival it was open. Overall keept the rain of our heads.

We just had a night in the city with some family and stayed in a 2 bedroom corner apartment room 1006. Apartment was very clean and spacious. Great views of the city. Emma at reception helped us very quickly with our requests. She's very friendly and helpful. Only 1 issue which is alot of noise from city traffic during the night but I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, only a short walk to most attractions, but tucked away from the busier tourist hotspots. Well-appointed apartment, super comfy beds, and we appreciated the washing machine and dryer in our room too. One of the dirtiest hotels I have ever stayed in. Bathroom was filthy on arrival, bed sheets had grease stains on them. All the surfaces were just dirty, even the floor looked looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a month.

Rooms are good. Parking is a bit tricky - tight spaces for bigger vehicles. Also expect to be charged for car parking.

They are extremely expensive as compare to their service. The customer management is not satisfactory.
