Big Salute to Bangalore Police Your prompt and selfless service made me write this post. P.S. Long post ahead. On the last Saturday night, I was on my way back to home in Uber. An hour later after I reached, I realised that I lost my phone. I immediately called the Uber driver enquiring about the phone, but he was not cooperating. After calling him again he said, "No Sir, I can't see your phone in my car." I immediately lodged a complaint about my lost mobile in Bangalore (Marathahalli)police station. PSI Somesh Gejji promptly took an action and called the Uber driver asking about the phone. His reply was same as last and Mr. Somesh called him next day morning to the Police Station for interogation. Next day that driver was interrogated and Police came to know that mobile was with the customer who boarded the car immediately after me. Head Constable Manjunath went to that customer's place for collecting the mobile and informed me about the recovery of mobile. I got my mobile within 24 hours of lodging complaint. This incidence has changed my perspective about the Police department.

Very good police station with extremely cooperative staff. I visited this station in Mar 2018 to lodge a complaint against a Marathahalli-based Furniture shop who had taken Rs 5000/- as advance but had not delivered the furniture nor refunded my money even after 3 months of numerous reminders and visits from my part. After writing a complaint, the police station immediately provided a police constable (PC) to accompany me to the shop. The PC argued with the shop and helped me get my money refunded in cash which would not have been possible had I gone to the shop all by myself. The whole process took almost 2.5 hours as the shop personnel were trying their best to give excuses and shove us off at every pretext. But the PC stood with me through the entire process until I was handed over the money. I was quite satisfied with the honesty and prompt action this duty-bound PC and the police station displayed and I hope they would maintain these virtues for a long time to come.

Totally unsatisfied with the justice of police. Interest business is wrong. Correct...but already we were cheated in it 5 years back. Now I need to return money to the persons from where I took. But the person I gave is not ready to give my money back. He is cheating me saying that interest business is wrong. Police also supported him besides our proofs and documents. We lending money is mistake, ok. But taking money from us also a mistake na..that thing they are not at all concentrating. now how can we get out of this...how to repay their money back without getting money from him. Its a die hard situation for us. Till this April 2020 we need to clear our owes, otherwise we will remain as corpses. The reason will be cheated person and also people who has right to solve it, but dint help us...Police are like, your die you die, we cant do anything.

APPRECIATION POST Miracles do happen! I lost my one plus 7 pro phone on 21st Feb which2020, I newly bought on October 2019 near Adishwar showroom marathahalli while I was traveling in auto. The same day, I I lodged a FIR and the police people said they will put it in tracking. I never lost hope, every month used to call the police station. I have never seen in any police station such a good set of police officers and constables. They never took any money from me, for this work, never asked for it. On 4th September I again went to station to get update. Then I got to know, that my phone is being used by someone else. And police called him and asked the person to give back my phone. Recently I visited for my passport police verification, previous day I had an SMS to visit the Marathahalli Police Station between 10:00 AM and 05:00 PM. I went at 04:30 PM in the evening, we have a separate cabin for Passport verification as soon as I entered cabin, verifying officer Mr. Satish asked few questions about where are you from, where are you working etc. after that he asked 10th Marks Card and Rental agreement as address proof, took Xerox of my Aadhar , asked for 2 photos signed on all those Xerox copies and my verification is done. My friends told me to give some money, they will approve it, however I have given no single penny. It was smooth and police staff are very friendly and professional.

I can't stop myself to write a review and appreciate the staff working in this police station . I went to here for my Police Clearance Certificate (PCC ) . Before a day I received a message regarding my appointment. Next day I visited with all mentioned documents in message and its takes max 30 minutes to complete document verification (address proof, passport photo) . Staff are very professional and they never ask for bribe . It takes max 10 working days to send the verification report to passport office. So no need of any follow up. In my case it took 7 working days . Mostly Mr.Ali do document verification and he is a very nice person. Hope this information will help others. Thank you :)

I had bought a bed and mattress from a furniture store but mattress wasn't fitting properly with the bed. Followed up with the owner to replace the bed and he kept saying I'll come today , tomorrow. Then said he'll extend the size of cot with ply and he won't be able to replace. Went to Marathahalli police station after 15 days of follow up. The officer called the owner up and asked him to replace else they will officially take complaint if doesn't oblige. After lot of discussion he agreed to replace my bed. Can't thank enough Marathahalli police. So calm and composed but so strong with words.

I went to lodge a FIR - for stolen mobile - at the police station. However, only a Lost Article Report (henceforth, LAR) was lodged. Sad thing is that LAR has a disclaimer: "Report lodged under this app is not a subject matter of enquiry or investigation by Bengaluru City Police". While the staff is polite, it would have been better if they took appropriate action - in our case they should have lodged a FIR as requested by us.

Visited today for police verification wrt passport, police personnel handling the process was very very cordial and kind. Asked for a ciucou of documents a and photos, took a photo on iPad and also shown his report (though could not understand as written in Kannada). Not asked for any money. All process completed within 5 minutes. Examplary attitude from Police.

Very happy that he approved my passport application. Don't know his name but he kept his words. As he told by which date it will be done I received sms on that day. Before going there for verification I had checked the google reviews and got a good impression by reading those reviews. By visiting there I had a good experience. They work promptly and efficiently.

Thanks to the police here they allowed me to travel through the check point for an emergency work at my old office during this lockdown time, they hesitated initially I had no job no money if I don't get this letter from my old office I won't be able to join new work I had requested but finally they allowed me thanks a lot team, I appreciate you saved my day

We visited and met mr. Mahesh for passport verification, he was very polite and humble policman. He took signature on 1 form and asked all relevant documents. Process was very smooth it just took 2 to 5 mints. He didn't ask any money also as I heard that we have to pay. I am so thankful to Mr. Mahesh thanks a lot.

I have been to Marathahalli police station along with my friend, who had got cheated on credit card transaction. PS personnel are very nice and S.I Guru Prasad had helped and took action immediately and the person who did fraud came to PS with in minutes. things were settled down. Very impressive.

Staff are very professional and friendly I went there to register a Fraud on my card , ASI was very polite and understanding offered Juice as well :) Probably first time in my life had this kind of nice treatment in any police station . Love to see when somebody do his duty truly and faithfully.

Constable was very friendly in nature when I contacted him for mobile lost on road, Since I reported within a hour after loose, One of the driver found the device and constable communicated well to retrieve the devices Thankful to auto driver and constable for their humanity at this era.

Good Police station near by Marathahalli acctually it's located in Kadubeesanahalli. Next to Prestige tech park it's visible from ring road itself. I have been there and filed an elost case unfortunately feedback yet to receive. Officers are helpful as well as supportive.

I called them at 3 in the night with a noise complaint. And I saw them at 3:20 outside my balcony dealing with the people making the noise. I cannot thank them enough, very swift and cool way of action. Thank you very much.
