We received an offer for our house within a few hours of the listing, Jessica worked extensively throughout the evening to negotiate the offer and concluded with selling 50k over asking price with ZERO conditions!!! My wife and I had contacted the Ottawa Capital Group to see a home we liked on Realtor.ca - We ended up meeting Brad Corrigan, one of their real-estate agents. While we found the home wasn't quite for us, we really liked Brad and arranged a meeting to talk about selling our home and finding a new one. Brad helped us sell our home for more than we anticipated and fought for us to get the best price possible for our new home. He guided us in preparing our home for sale - we went through a staging process where we did some basic renovations to update our home and prepared things for our first open house. We felt extremely lucky to find a buyer with our first big showing, but really it was because of Brad's connections and hard work that we had the right people come visit our home. Brad also found us our new home - he helped us evaluate neighbourhoods that we were interested in, organized many, many showings and was extremely helpful and patient with us - we were pretty picky! Once we found our home, Brad organized all of the paperwork for us digitally online and made it extremely easy to go through the whole closing process. While we were mainly in contact with Brad, he did introduce us to a few of his colleagues who also helped us along the way. We really appreciated the insight Marc gave us when we first met, we had excellent staging advice from Kim and we really enjoyed working with Jessica who helped keep us organized during the entire process. While we don't plan on moving any time soon, we would love to work with Brad and the Ottawa Capital Group again in the future.

We recently used Jessica Yaacoub as our buying agent, and we are so glad we did. In the current sellers market, we saw countless homes, bid on a few, and were getting discouraged. Jess was motivated, and I truly feel that she was emotionally invested in us getting our home. We eventually landed a gorgeous new build home that we will take possession of in a few months' time. While we expected the buying agent to no longer engage after the offer firmed up, she has been instrumental in continuing to advocate and negotiate for us with the builders rep. The service we have received has been incredible, and we would recommend her to anyone looking for personal attention in the buying process. Update for March 25: In addition to our experience with Jess, above, we used Marc Evans as our selling agent. He was great. Very communicative, helpful, strategic, and I always got the sense that he had our best interests at heart. We followed Marc's advice and last night, were presented with multiple offers over our asking price. We couldn't be happier when we were able to firm up on a deal shortly after opening offers. Selling a home is stressful, but we felt that the stress was *significantly* reduced thanks to his advise and guidance.

We recently bought and sold with Marc and had a fantastic experience. In purchasing our new home, Marc didnt hesitate at making himself available on extremely short notice, putting aside family commitments, and helping us get in to see the property before anyone else. His understanding of the current market conditions was instrumental in helping us successfully purchase our new home without getting into a multiple offer situation, AND without going over budget. In selling our current home, Marc once again demonstrated a strong understanding of the market and helped us position ourselves such that our home sold in less than 24 hours, for over asking! The process of firming up the agreements on both properties was smooth. It’s clear that Marc genuinely has his clients best interests at heart. This is our second time working with Marc and we won’t hesitate to work with him again in the future!

Maicy Yaacoub was amazing! We moved to Ottawa in Sept 2021. We began browsing the market when Maicy reached out and kindly offered her services. I had shared that we were just browsing and as first time home buyers we were a bit nervous. She let me know she would follow up in the future. Around May of 2022, Maicy followed through on her commitment and reached out. She partnered us with a broker and shortly after we were on our first time home buying journey. We completed the market research where Maicy was patient to take us to various homes so that we got a better sense of what we truly wanted in our first home. This was great! About a month later and Maicy had us signing an offer on our first home. She was diligent, detail oriented, informational and very understanding. We had such a great experience with the Ottawa Capital Group!! Mainly with Jessica Yaacoub as our buyer/seller agent and with Mark as well for the sale of our house. We reached out to Marc's ReMax brokerage for help in selling our home, and from start to finish....Wow! He and and his team professionally and handily took care of everything. He urged us to stay firm with our negotiations, when we would have been willing to concede some money to just seal the deal.
