A pleasant local area to take your dog for a nice long walk, it’s a nice easy flat terrain, suitable for all. There is a dog park area close by if you wish to use it, but the main park is excellent. Make sure you bring water for your dog, and yourself, as well as dog bags as required.
Playground
There is a playground area here that is specifically designed for disabled children
Restrooms
Restrooms are available here, close to the picnic area and playground
Dog-friendliness
Definitely dog-friendly - on leash Park, with a dog park that is fenced and off-leash for small dogs and the other larger area for any size
Picnic area
There's a BBQ, picnic tables and bins available here - some parts covered so can be used in all weather

It is a nice pub and was very busy the night we went ... They were so fast bringing out the food ... My husband ordered and entree of chicken wings, they were so small and looked burnt but they were delicious ... He also ordered the Eyed Fillet Steak and it was the best steak we have tasted in a long while , perfectly cooked and melted in your mouth ... Sadly I ordered the Seadood Basket and the 2 raw oysters were delicious but the rest of the Seafood Basket came from a box in the freezer ... For $27, I was very disappointed... If I go back to Tainbow Beach I will never order that again ...

A mid-week visit here is very pleasant because there are so few people around, just parked cars belonging to bus commuters. Beautifully maintained fields of grass interspersed with clumps of shade trees. Public toilets and a canteen. Disabled access to most areas, wheelchair access to the grounds could be slow going after any rain.

The park is a great place to fly your kite or to practice hovering your drone skills. There are plenty of water bubblers dotted around the area with bowls below to water your dog. There is a toilet block there but I have not needed to use it yet so I cannot comment on them but I'm sure if I had the urge to go that I would use them.

  • Rhys Flux

Located adjacent to Gympie Road this large park boasts 10 turf cricket pitches throughout, being the home of Northside warehouse cricket. The field numbering can be a bit confusing with not all pitches easily accessible from the front entrance so recommend checking a field layout and parking close by on the curb if necessary.

This is a pretty good place to hang out, evening stroll. The only issue is that too many people walking their dogs without a leash in the LEASH-ON areas. Your dogs may be friendly but you shouldn’t expect that everyone feels comfortable with your dog when they are off leash. Please stick to the rules people.

The best place for fresh air in the suburbs. Enjoy by stretching your legs, walking the dog or just playing sport!
Playground

Huge park but hardly any pathways. Carpark is tiny and no gutter anywhere for wheelchairs to get up off road to the access dog park off-leash area. No path to gated dog area. Only pathways are near front entrance then it's not wheelchair friendly. Badly designed. Wheelchair ppl need to use park as well.

  • Therese Peachey

A lovely walk right around this park, I did notice there was only 1 amenities though and very few if any water bubblers. No picnic or bbq spots I could see, you might have to go over to 7th brigade park for that, it would be lovely to have more picnic areas and amentities in the open field areas.

As a Cricket lover & Player. Nothing better to be on a cricket ground. But this is awesome. 9 field altogether and all of them at the same place but yet different in condition. All of them very well maintained. Love the canteen. Chicken Burger & Samosas "Must Eat"

They say lungs are the heart of the city, and this is one big park. It's a great escape from the suburbs and city, and provides plenty of room for families, dogs and sports. There's an excellent dog training group there with their own club house. I love the place

  • DC Kez

Hit and miss soccer fields to be honest. Low fence behind the goal so the ball can go over easily and land on the road and also in the dirty storm drain. The pitch is average and the goal posts on field 2 are square rather than round which is dodgy.

  • Eranga Lakmal

Consist of 10 Cricket ovals, managed by Warehouse Cricket Association. While most of them are turf, there are a couple of synthetic pitches as well. Ground staff puts lot of effort to keep these ovals in good condition to play! Thank you!!

  • Shirley Temple (Star)

Would not be heading back there due to the small size car park, extremely small playground and lack of toilet facilities. Sitting areas near playground have small tables and one plank of wood for a bench seat. Good for dogs and cricket.

  • Brendan Greenhalgh

It's big, lots of kids playground areas, or play soccer or cricket on one of the ovals. Lovely big open grass areas for picnics or running around. If you're into bike riding you can get on the Downfall Creek Bikeway from here.

  • Stephen Henderson

A great place to stroll and walk the dog, he enjoyed it and was actually quite excited. It's a very popular place as there's always people around either playing games, sports, running and exercising and walking their dogs.

  • gvd prasad

This park is utilised as a cricket ground and walks. Some playgrounds are ok, the rest of them are uneven and not a great place after a rainy day.
Playground
Couple of them are ok, rest are not so cricket friendly.

  • Damien Lean

The Spiritual home of warehouse cricket in Brisbane. A former dairy farm donated for cricket use by the Marchant family lovely turf grounds to play on very well maintained can be a little hard to navigate grounds

  • Ollie Shaw

Beautiful park that's well maintained, I highly recommend it in late afternoon, Cricket Ovals were kept in very good condition, Soccer Fields however were another story with it being rough and out of shape

  • Parthkumar Lakhtariya

Beautiful place for a picnic. Also the right place for a regular evening walk with a pet. There is a soccer stand available for playing soccer. There is a public toilet accessible with basic necessities.

  • Isabella Peverini

So I was sitting there and this guy came of know where and combusted and I was like this doesn't happen everyday so I um hid the body in a nearby surage drain what a wierd day #dontspoiltheendgame …

  • Emma B

Nice open space, lots of ovals for sport, and a small playground in the middle. Super busy on weekends during cricket season, so best avoid. There is a path that also goes around the whole park too!

  • Richard Albery

Nice ,well kept park with lots of black swans and other water birds around greak place for a break from driving and a leg stretch. Shame theres no coffee shop so bring your own from nearby cafe's.

  • Jay M

Beautiful park, amazing trees, cool mushrooms. Pretty big and spacious for dogs and people. A little park for kids. Nice grass to walk on, just watch where you step, as always lol. Worth the stop

  • Jon Hottman

A nice park for walks, with 8 or more Cricket fields and a couple of soccer fields. It's a good place to take dogs for a walk as well and they do have a dog park that's opposite of Chermside

  • Steven Kinna

This park looks huge on Google maps. It turns out, there's nothing there but a tiny barbeque area and dog park right out the front, and something like twenty different cricket fields.

  • Scott Nicholls

Played a bit of cricket there a while back, also played football for Nundah Wavell (when the team existed). Good park for more facilities beyond Cricket and football.

  • Alexander Southern

Lovely grass and lots of space for the kids to run around. Park is not far from 7th brigade Park which is also great. I normally Park here and walk across the road.

  • Mitch Boyd

Classic outer-city cricket field complex with 10 pitches ranging from decent to Cambodian minefield. Canteen is a shining bastion of light amongst sports canteens.

  • Clancey Ruxton

There's usually a bunch of dogs around on the weekend. If you don't like dogs or cricket or large areas of moderately even grass then you won't have a good time

  • Rob H

Parking hard to find may have to walk due to bike way construction. seats some under cover with BBQ. lovely child play ground, unfenced. Great big oval.

  • Velo Cetera

Nice big park with lots of different areas. Parking is a hassle as it appears to host the Chermside shopping centre / bus station overflow parking.

  • Trevor Rigden

Cricket clubhouse, great location for the game, a couple of nice picnic in the park spots. Home to a couple vagrant people who keep to themselves.

  • Robyn Dell

What a lovely surprise.... Fantastic kids zone play area and beautiful grassy areas to picnic or bbq ... If you have little kids it's a must visit

  • Kartik Patel (Kris)

  • GS Nayar

Very noce and quite big park. Very good place where my dog get a very good running capacity. Also well mentained and neat place. I love the park

  • Steven Holness

If your able to get there early enough on a Saturday or Sunday when the cricket is on they do some great home made sausage rolls at the canteen.

  • Leith Bloomer

I live across the road. Love it, like having a big front yard that I don't have to mow. Always a game of cricket to watch on the weekend.

  • Dane Butler

Good to have so many turf pitches and grounds available in the one area. Would be better if there was more parking available though.

  • Amar Bantwal

The best canteen of any cricket ground in Brisbane. The chicken burger is top of its league, so too the spicy noodles. A must have.

  • Ann

Such a lovely peaceful park to momentarily escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, I so enjoyed the warm sunshine.
