Wasn't a quite delightful experience I had at this cafe. So what happened is, I searched for a nice place to drink coffee and found this cafe. Scrolling down the reviews seeing they recommend flat white. I gave it a go since I love flat white. Ordered my flat white and this is what they gave me. Actually the coffee wasn't that bad, just not strong enough. But the cup was just disgusting. It was dusty and had lipstick on it. How is a cup at a busy cafe can be this dirty? Do they even wash them? Spoon was not looking good, too. I took the coffee to the counter and requested a new one for takeaway. Baristas apologized but I lost my appetite anyways. Every customer there seemed enjoying their coffee except me. I don't think there's gonna be a second visit.

The quality of coffee, relaxed ambience and prompt service unquestionably places Marchetti as one of Brisbane's premiere cafes. Tucked away in the Tattersall's Arcade, it is apparent Marchetti attracts a loyal and content customer following. The cafe's appeal is centred around its high quality coffee, which consists for a smooth and silky texture consistently made from its small team of dedicated baristas. Through its tasteful furnishings and musical selections Marchetti evinces a European-style cafe atmosphere, which allows you a glimpse of the busy passers-by. The service is prompt, friendly and attentive.

Spotted people drinking coffee in the Tattersal Arcade as we walking past yesterday morning & decided to go check it out. Saw the source was Marchetti Cafe. A popular spot, it seems - which I had no idea this was here. We ordered a cappacino with oat milk and large flat white to take away. Grabbed a seat while so we were out of the way while we waited. Reasonable wait time. I really enjoyed the Allpress coffee and wished the cup was bigger. Read other reviews raving about the pastries. Must try it next time.

This tiny cafe reminded me of Italian childhood holidays where one stands at the bar to get amazing coffee. There are seats at this cafe, but there's still the bar & full bodied coffee presented well. Not to forget those Italian sweet delicacies freshly made to tempt. My only peeve was it was credit card only no cash, otherwise it would have scored a 5!

Simply the best coffee in Brisbane. And honestly, the pastries and the staff are wonderful too. I’m a coffee-loving English/Italian from Brighton in the UK & we have some good cafes there, but Marchetti rocked my taste buds & became my home from home (though Brisbane will be my home from July, so lucky me I get Marchetti as my local). I can’t recommend it enough. You won’t be disappointed.

I have only visited twice. Once for a nice coffee and again the other day for a late afternoon negroni. I enjoyed my visit on both occasions. Marchetti can get quite busy, even in the afternoon, so you may have a wait, but staff are friendly.

Really like the coffee & atmosphere at this establishment. Situated in the stylish Tattersall's Arcade, Queen St, Brisbane city, always make a beeline to this classy cafe. Could I make a request to consider diabetics if at all possible? An estimated 10%, (& growing), of Australia's population are, in fact, diabetic & it's so hard to get the right meal balance when dining out. Thanks Marchetti, see you soon!
***Update*** Coffee is good but that non-existent latte art.... again Also, quite expensive for a regular (small) cup of flat white at $5.28 incl fee * 1.5% surcharge * Cashless payments only * Friendly service * Great ambience

Stumbled across this little cafe on a walk and it was so busy I thought I better try it. With the seats sprawling inside a tiny mall, this has a great feel, simple but tasty menu and excellent coffee! I ordered the omelette- see photo - so awesome so yummy. Staff were friendly and the collection of sweets just amazing!
